      not even you think its not normal for a star player whos team is down in the series and down in the game with 8 mins left to not take some quick shots even if theyre misses? 10x more pressure is on him and he was hitting nasty 3s all game. Even though the 4th quarter wasnt his best i think its his team going down with him on the bench that makes him lose momentum he wouldve dropped 50 if he wasnt benched

    Russ wins: they say it was all him and he is mvp
    Russ loses: not his fault he has no team
    Meanwhile for Harden
    -Harden wins: of course he is going to win he has a great team
    -Harden loses: harden choked
    -Harden leads team to second place in the west during the 2014-15 season by himself with amazing stats (dwight and beverly were out, second best player was josh smith): curry mvp cuz his team won more
    -Harden leads team again with amazing stats this season: russ mvp cuz he doing it all by himself, forget about the wins cuz russ is averaging a triple double.
    - Harden avergaes 29 7 and 5 last season: doesnt make any all-nba team
    everyone does harden dirty bruh

      Untrue. Harden is credited for wins and losses and many Westbrook haters give harden credit for Lou Williams and Eric Gordon doing well of the bench. Credit that he doesn't deserve. He's blamed for the losses most of the time. And most people said he deserved the MVP in 2015 which is why the players association gave him their MVP.

I don't think they're better without harden, but i believe they could still make the playoffs even with a mediocre pg.

    Russell Westbrook didn't wanna rest, Donovan wanted him to. All those people making comments about triple doubles isn't relevant. The fact that everyone on his team couldn't shoot efficidntly and he still got double digit assists but no one wants to give credit for that? Even Roberson was running from James Harden cos he didn't wanna take free throws. Everyone wants to mention how Houston didn't perform, and blame Westbrook for the team losing in the fourth, ignoring the fact he was the reason why they even had the lead

  • @UserName-go7hm
    @UserName-go7hm 7 лет назад +22

    The better team won. The benches/ aren't comparable whatsoever. He didn't play good basketball in the 4th quarters but thats what happens when you have to spoon feed your team for 3 quarters. Thunder were outscored by over FIFTY when Westbrook sat. You want Westbrook to make up for 10 points a game basically, thats ridiculous. It's not like he got good rest either, he sat for 2 minutes at a time, and his team managed to nosedive EVERY SINGLE TIME.

    • @OfflineFeeds
      @OfflineFeeds 7 лет назад +4

      Do you watch the games bro? He ain't a ball hog. He passes the ball but no one was making shots. Who you want him to pass it to? He passed it to Dipo, misses a lot. Passed to Roberson he air balls, so I'm confused

  • @Odysseus1ful

    People keep said WB's supporting cast is garbage and put blame on them rather than some on WB too, but fan and media alike forgot that the team that Harden carry to 2nd seed back in 2015 is even worse compare to this WB team, oh and that also include the fact that Harden's team suffer more injury in both regular and playoff unlike WB's team where they barely suffer any injury at all. You can just search the team that harden carried in 2015, pretty much half of his teammate are no longer play in nba while the other half stay but again half from those who stay in nba are now play for another team. This should tell you how bad that team and despite this harden carried them to 2nd seed but in the end penalize for not win enough, now all of a sudden harden can't win MVP because of team success. The media really is being contradict in their evaluation of MVP award, such a double standard.

  • @ubong5172
    @ubong5172 7 лет назад +51

    WestBrick predictably shot his team out of the game. 4/18 in the 4th quarter. There was a point when they were down by 5, he would come down the court and shoot, brick, drive for a layup, clang, shoot a jumper, boing. 7 sequences where he clanked so hard, I thought the rim was going to break and the rockets extended the league to 10. The game was very winnable if Russ played like he does in the 1st half when he's hunting for the triple double and tries to get his other players involved. Soon as the 4th hits, Russel's all about ME ME ME and it hasn't worked out a single time in his career in the post season. OKC fans need to realize that this mentality will never get you deep into the playoffs even if you have a superstar on KD's caliber come back to the team.

      He was obviously fatigued. Whenever he leaves the floor his team completely collapses. Anyone that watched the game could see how tired he was in the 4th of those games. Not just the minutes, be he go at 100% every minute or else his team has nothing. His teammates that he was supposed to "trust" went -60 when he was off the floor and can't even hit free throws.

    as a okc fan i blame russ completely. His triple doubles, his amazing year, 4 losses, and 1 win. For one he is the leader and for two when you aren't playing good at all you call a timeout and tell your team "look I'm not playing well so one or all of you are going to have to step up" its your position as team leader to get everyone on the same page and clicking and if you play the playoffs the same way you landed the 6th seed in the regular season things aren't gonna go your way

    Of course Westbrook is to blame, he goes into ballhog hero ball in the 4th quarter, not playing as a team and trusting his teammates. No one is denying Westbrook contribution to the team, but he's their only game plan, give the ball to WB and let him run the offense. Problem is that he's doing that well for 3 quarters but when comes the 4th quarter he's the ultimate ballhog by not putting his teammates in good situation to score. Mr triple double only has 6 assists in 5 x 4th quarters ... ugh

  • @falconshawksbravesfanextra7830
    @falconshawksbravesfanextra7830 7 лет назад +1

    The thing about OKC is the team doesn't know how to play with Westbrook during critical points of the game because his style of play says to the team "get out of my way, I got this". And we saw that over and over during that series. He has to understand the TEAM can't win that way, which is why they lost

If you think that you shooting a fadeaway over 2 defenders is better than your teamate spotted up wide open. he will never knock down that shot. russ should pass the ball every time in this situation and eventually his teamates will be able to knock it down come playoff time. but... those triple doubles though...

    Westbrook actually makes his team worse. Adams and Oledipo can ball, they've proven it. Why aren't we asking why they are underperforming with the ball in Russ' hands? They are hot all game and then Russ just stops giving them the ball for some reason and proceeds to shoot them out of the game.

There was no ball sharing, so no one on his team could get into a rhythm. Russ' 4 quarters debacles hurt OKC chances to win games. He was too ball dominant and didn't share. Russ is a me first guy. He has to get his, don't care about no one else. Russ was talking trash To Beverley saying he was unguardable and got 40. Beverley said, but it took you 34 shots, not a good look.

      Russ passed both of them the ball but as I said IF you watched the games youd see that even when westbrook was out oladipo had his chances but as usual didnt do anything. Adams was a mess defensively in the first round, dont blame russ unless you 100% watched the games because he HAS to shoot the ball because his teamates either A give him the ball with 4 seconds left on the shot clock, or nothing is going because they cant create shots at all and arent shooters. And beverly one of the worst starting pgs in the game? Beverly cant guard westbrook at all, he was in foul trouble the whole series he continuously reached and got called for fouls and was blown by several times and you would see this once again if you watched the series.

    People talk about how Westbrook is selfish, a ball hog, and inefficient, but people forget that Lebron inefficient series vs Warriors in the 2015 finals when KLove and Irving was gone. Dude average over 35 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 assist which is a good stat line. But, Lebron shot 39% taking 33 shots per game which is horrendous, Lebron beat Rick Berry's record for most missed shots in a Finals series. U can argue Lebron was selfish and a ball hog in the 2015 Finals, but people always argue Lebron is this team player like Magic Johnson.
    Lebron just like Westbrook had to carry his squad without a good supporting cast, at least in that 2015 Finals Lebron had shooters and offensive weapons Jr Smith>Victor Oladipo, Westbrook has no shooters and literally willing his team to victory and people still discredit him, it doesnt make sense..

      Lebron carried his squad to the finals against a very tough Bulls squad with Jimmy Butler, Derrick Rose and the 60 win hawk team. Lebron than beat GSW twice and made it a competitive series. Lebron averaged 42 minutes and played over 40 in the finals. Lebron was guarded by players like iggy and Draymond. How was Lebron a ball hog when his team had no one to create for themselves? His second best teammate was Matthew Dellavedova.

    • @anthonycelestin3559
      @anthonycelestin3559 7 лет назад

      Levi Jaroslaw, Rockets are a good team too and they have a chance to beat the Warriors. Rockets bench is better than Warriors even with the loss of Sam Dekker. Rockets got shooters and guys who can create their own shot and they have a system wit Mike D'antonie that play uptempo and shoots a lot of threes. Westbrook mange to win 1 game at least, the problem wit Westbrook was that he rested in the 3rd quarter and the Thunders collapse.
      Westbrook couldve played 48 minutes per game and they couldve actually win the series, but Westbrook knows his body better than everyone else and he felt it was a good idea to rest. Even if Westbrook ended up staying in the game late in the 3rd and throughout the 4th and ended up beating the Rockets, OKC is still a flawed team. This series has exposed how bad the Thunders, also Billy Donavan doesnt even play his two best shooter McDermitt and Abrines, he rather play Grant and a Andre Roberson whos a offensive liability who can shoot free throws

      Anthony Celestin Lebron is averaging 50% fg for his entire career and that includes the 7 yrs were he was the only superstar in his team. Wesbrook has never shot above 50% for a season. I wish they would talk more about the teams as a whole, rather than individuals constantly being compared. The comparisons don't both me, it's the fact that that's the battle within a war. The Rockets were just a better team, they played poorly and we're still able to beat them. When the trailblazers got swept we don't question whose to blame, because the Warriors are just a better TEAM. I personally think it would have been more interesting if they also talked about how the Rockets will match up next round and some of the other more interesting series going to game 6.

    Russell plays amazing basketball and involves his teammates and looks like the best player in the univers for 2 or 3 quarters. And then, at some point in the third he realizes he already has the magic number of 10 assists. At that point he probably already has close to 10 rebounds and of course 20+ points. So then everything changes. His teammates don't exist anymore in his mind. It's already the end of the game. He's got his triple double. He's a legend. Nobody can touch him. Here comes the 4th quarter, aka Brick-Time!!! Now no matter who's open or who's guarding or double teaming him, you now he's shooting the ball (and missing). Sad story.
