I think the ending/aftermath of CA arc was a bit botched. That's the only weak part of Hxh in my opinion. Some things weren't resolved well, and some left you with an empty feeling like Killua and Gon's departure. Ging just seemed to be on the sidelines.

I just finished it like 4 days ago Gon was so excited to introduce Killua to his dad. Couldn't Killua and Alluka have just stayed and waited for Gon and Ging to come down the tree ;-; Also, Killua saying Alluka was the one who saved Gon not taking the credit for it like what?? Also they didn't show the scene when Gon woke up

I've Seen a lot of anime in my life. Over 1000 different series. But this scene at 5:14 is one of my favorite. It's so deep and beautiful. Togashi is for me a genius among geniuses.

Real friendships are diferent because the physical image of your friend is present when you are talking to him/her, that of course prevents the mayority of people from getting closer to our friends because we subconsciously judge people by their appareance and asume a lot of things just because they look one way or the other. Just by looking at their eyes you can feel different, small pupils are scary and threatning and big pupils are welcoming and cute. The smell, the face, the body type, the non-verbal language, everything counts. We are not wired for online friendships, that's why they are so special. Human beings are naturally superficial, we can't look at the inside of a person if we don't trust him/her fully.
One of the best things about their friendship is it's not the typical anime main characters friendship like Goku and Vegeta or Naruto and Sasuke. Besides when Gon and Killua do argue with each other it's more hilarious somehow.
