- This video explains how to find minimum net section area in TENSION MEMBERS both in simple and staggered bolted connections.
Thank you
So the answer to the practice question is as follows :
Minimum net area along CDEG = 2108.57 mm^2.
you can check your answers.
minimum net area along BEDC = 2108.57 mm2
what a sweet voice mam
This a very helpful video for learning perposs.
Thank u sooooo much mam 😘😘😘
It was really helpful 🥰
From kabul Afghanistan 🥰
Vishay hard mama 😀
Nepali mam op . Nicely made understood 🤝
Thank you so much mam ❤❤
Good explanation
Very helpful form semester exam
Thank you so so much 😘😘, very helpful.
How to choose paths i mean lines for calculating net section area??
Love u mam❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ma’am I got minimum net area as 2109.57mm^2 at BEDC(4 bolts)
Wrong tassi please check once again
for the practice question, I got section CDE as the minimum net area with 2160 sq. mm
Wrong
✖️
I also got yhat
@@nabanitadaimary735 may be you are wrong
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Mam can't it fail along ACDEG
The min area of the plate section is 2108.6 mm2 (i.e the section from ACDE:4 bolts)
❌
Plz 🙏 determine the net effective area for The Double angle Section ISA 80*60*8 mm the angle are connected as shown in figure
2108.57 mm sq. Critical section CDEG
Ma'am the minimum area of the plate section i got 2108.57 mm^2.
Check the critical path of that pinned comment above
Minimum net area along BEDC =2108.57mm2
Ma'am can it fail along FCDE? 11:11
No vicky because there is a tension pull on the right hand side so your failure will be either straight or from left to right not right and then left.
Thanks for the tutorial 🫶
Minimum net area = 2108.57 sq. mm
Is it correct maam?
Patience kynrong let me get some more answers.
Sure ma'am
Absolutely u were correct 👍the critical path is CDEG
Ok thank you ma'am
Ma'am can it fail along CADEB?
No stefanie the section ACDEB in that you see its not goin to fail in this manner where you see your pull is on right hand side. the bolt hole B is to the left of C and again ur D is towars right but how can it be possible if your pull is towards right. The pull is constant or can increase but not decrease. And the section which you asked for there if B point is included that means your load was decreased and then again after failure at point B load increased highly which is not possible for the constant fixed loads. Also applies to A n C.
Ma'am , the min net area i got =2108.57mm^2
Correct
okay ma'am
How much did you get?
@@nabanitadaimary735 Net area=2108.57 mm² for CDEB
I got for BEDC = 2108.57mm²
Instead of B, G will be there the last bolt in same line with B due to the tension
@@nabanitadaimary735 ok mam
Maam the minimum net area is 2108.57mm^2
Maam I got minimum net area=2108.6mm²(for CDEB)
Path CDEG
or maybe along CDEG with minimum net area of 2108.57 sq. mm
I'm not sure Ma'am
I got this one
What is confusing you?
@@nabanitadaimary735 Ma'am I was confused about along which section failure will be most possible.
@@vick_almighty is it clear now. Please check once some of my comments where few of your frnds asked about failure in particular section
@@nabanitadaimary735 yes Ma'am I got it now. Thank you.
The minimum net area was found@ section CDEB or CDEG
An = 2108.57 mm^2
Now you got it correct👍
Thanks mam
2340mm^2, 2160mm^2, 2108.5mm^2..... So the min net area is 2108.5mm^2
proving (s^2/4g)!?
Minimum net area of the plate=2108.57mm²
Right
Minimum net area = 2108.57 mm^2
The minimum net area =2108.57mm²
✅
Minimum net area = 2108.5mm²
Mem ji pls hindi me dalna
Hindi bhi bola kro thoda nhi to kohi nhi dekhega apka video oky madam
