I have the 23 C8 Z51 HTC Red calipers. I also have the silver flare metallic. Just my opinion but the silver flare is top of the line and it doesn’t show dirt like some of the darker colors. I purchased another set of all season tires and wheels so it can be driven in colder temperatures. So much fun to drive! If you have a C8 drive drive drive.

His wife was with him as well ... He loved coming here ! ... At that time i was the President of the Aberdeen Corvette Club in South Dakota ... Then the day we heard the sad news, Zora had left us all ... We all cried !!!!!!!!!

I hate Corvettes myself. I bought a brand new 2005 sunset orange corvette. What a piece of GM garbage. It ran great but the workmanship was horrible. The first thing that went bad was a ripped boot in the rear wheel which caused grease to spill onto the rear wheel . Second thing was I kept hearing a noise when I pulled into a driveway. It turned out to be the torque tube was not bolted down properly. All kinds of rattles and squeaks . I would never buy a GM car again.

In two months you would be at the very end of the '24, I'd wait one more month or so and get the new interior. The Great Wall is gone and you'll have a continuous dash screen. As the owner of a '23 Stingray HTC you would still love a '24 but getting that new interior should be worth the wait. I'm curious about any external changes, guessing they will be minor but noticeable by enthusiasts.
@@ramonddiaz Oh you have a Stingray, then it's a no brainier, wait and get that mid-cycle update. It will open up the interior, especially for the passenger, and the screens need an update in size and resolution especially when you consider the cost of the vehicle. For goodness sakes, my daughters '24 Trax has an 11" infotainment screen compared to the 8" on all Corvettes.

This was a great story and well presented. The Z06 was very well spec'ed out. It is a shame that they are discontinuing the plant tours. I am sure the dentist will clean up those streets in Oregon.
LOL MY WIFE MADE A SIMILAR DEAL WITH OUR SON!!! Our son Adam from 8th Grade thru High School had a deal that if he was on the Honor Roll from Jr High and Senior High and Graduated #1 or #2 in his Class, she would buy him a car. He won the bet/deal! He was the Valedictorian of his Senior High School Class in 2011. He also from Jr High until Graduation, only missed 1 day of school and that was because he had Swine Flu and the School Nurse sent him home! He wanted to have “Perfect Attendance” I think more than being #1. He got his car! He’s now a Doctor in NJ working as a Hospitalist. I’m hoping to soon get my ZO6 allocation so I can pass the 2022 C8 along to him or the ZO6.
l GM fan but there a plenty of other car makers who make amazing performance cars at this price point. GM dropped the ball on the C7Z06 with the overheating issues dash leather peeling up thats been happening since the C5, Torque tube failures you name it.. The C8's including the Z06 have DCT trans problems and build quality issues just spend some time on the Corvetteforum read all the threads of C8 problems and lack of dealership tech support . I have had 7 Vettes over the last 10 years and would not own a C8 period the C7Z06/ZR1 and the C6ZR1 are the last of the real Corvettes. After owning many Vettes and all of there issues there not supercar quality and do not command the prices there asking for them. My C7Z has 12k in mods cost a fraction of the new C8Z and will walk it like the dog it is the motor has no torque and a liner power curve Sounds cool like a wannabe 458. I would take GT3, GT 500 a Raptor R, TRX BMW M4 CSL and many other over a C8Z ridiculous prices. Then the C8ZR1 hits the dealerships expect it to cost $300K with markups, how many people are buying cars at $200K and up maybe 1%...The Corvette is a dying brand.

We are on our third Corvette. Bought a 1962 years ago at Hot August Nights in Reno. Bought new 2006 and now 2023 70th anniversary from Champion Chevrolet on Reno.
What a happy face. Just ordered my Z06. Similar spec but bronze wheels instead of CF as I track the car and don’t know if anyone local can change tires. Plus any damage is not repairable. Wish I could do museum delivery but it’s over. Congratulations
Amazing car, perfect spec. Personally I'd take off those Carbon Fiber rims off and buy others to drive on. These rims have been known to get lots of cracks without much use and GM will not replace them on there dime. They are so nice and expensive I'd mount them on my garage wall, lol.

l GM fan but there a plenty of other car makers who make amazing performance cars at this price point. GM dropped the ball on the C7Z06 with the overheating issues dash leather peeling up thats been happening since the C5, Torque tube failures you name it.. The C8's including the Z06 have DCT trans problems and build quality issues just spend some time on the Corvetteforum read all the threads of C8 problems and lack of dealership tech support . I have had 7 Vettes over the last 10 years and would not own a C8 period the C7Z06/ZR1 and the C6ZR1 are the last of the real Corvettes. After owning many Vettes and all of there issues there not supercar quality and do not command the prices there asking for them. My C7Z has 12k in mods cost a fraction of the new C8Z and will walk it like the dog it is the motor has no torque and a liner power curve Sounds cool like a wannabe 458. I would take GT3, GT 500 a Raptor R, TRX BMW M4 CSL and many other over a C8Z ridiculous prices. Then the C8ZR1 hits the dealerships expect it to cost $300K with markups, how many people are buying cars at $200K and up maybe 1%...The Corvette is a dying brand.
What fun a Coffee with Conti. Beautiful car, while mine is not a ZO6, (love my 2021 Stingray Z51) my first driving experience was like Steve's couldn't stop smiling. When I got out of my car the first time, my wife commented that I couldn't stop smiling. Congratulations, Steve, on your beautiful ZO6, enjoy!!
We are on our third Corvette. Bought a 1962 years ago at Hot August Nights in Reno. Bought new 2006 and now 2023 70th anniversary from Champion Chevrolet on Reno.
What a happy face. Just ordered my Z06. Similar spec but bronze wheels instead of CF as I track the car and don’t know if anyone local can change tires. Plus any damage is not repairable. Wish I could do museum delivery but it’s over. Congratulations
I’m still laughing after watching throttle house and the cyber truck vs c8 zo6. That truck made the zo6 look slow.😂
Amazing car, perfect spec. Personally I'd take off those Carbon Fiber rims off and buy others to drive on. These rims have been known to get lots of cracks without much use and GM will not replace them on there dime. They are so nice and expensive I'd mount them on my garage wall, lol.
