The added attraction of three-wheelers in the UK was that they were taxed the same as a motorbike and sidecar - a significant saving for some people.

That thing with all the wheels... you said 42. Okay, I see 7 x 2 = 14. So, where are the other 28 wheels? Must be a dream car. I've driven through the Outback in what we here in Aussie, call Road Trains. One prime mover pulling two trailers connected by an 8-wheel dolly. That's 42 wheels... and up to 120 feet long. (You Yanks call the prime mover a tractor, but I assure you, our farmers don't use them for harvesting or sowing grain).🤔

Hey, I'm from Detroit. From 1955. And I can safely say the GM Firebird. Was not the first gas turbine powered automobile. Chrysler had been running them since, the 1950s. They just didn't look all fancy like a jet fighter. They look like a normal car.
So yeah. GM and the Firebird was the first,, turbine powered, jet fighter, car. Correct in, that respect. A stupid jet fighter car. For big adult little boys. That thankfully, never came to fruition. The Chrysler Turbine Car, was just fine. One even drove right by me. As I was walking home from school one day. Hey there's that car from the movie! With Doug McClure, James Darren and Pamela Eldridge I think? The Lively Set. I saw that movie when it came out. I knew it was a fake. Until it drove right in front of me and nearly ran over my foot. At 11 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue in Detroit. When I was 8 years old and totally into cars. As dad would take me down to the Drag Strip. Where one of his, advertising copywriters. For his advertising agency. Was the, Detroit Drag Strip Announcer MC. And for my birthday. He got me, free subscriptions. To every American automotive and hotrod magazines. I was in heaven. And we would go to all the big auto shows at Cobo Hall. The dealer shows. The custom car shows. It was awesome.
Back in the 1960s. It was always fabulous. To take the tours offered by, GM, Ford, Chrysler, American motors. Studebaker still existed. Hudson's were gone. Kaiser's were gone, Tucker's never made it. The Avanti was awesome. And then Studebaker rereleased a,, 5/8 recreation of the 1938 Cord.. Which I would walk by every day on my way to school. Both of those cars. In 1963.. And I thought they were awesome back then. I still think they are awesome, today. I would love to have one. Then it would give me a good reason. To move back to the Atlantic Coast beaches. Or finally make it to the West Coast beaches. Just to drive the coastal highways up and down and up and down. Stopping along the way. As I'm now retired! Yippee! I made it! I'm not dead, yet! Yee ha woo hoo! Time to act like a teenager again and enjoying my 2nd or 3rd maybe, 6 or 7th, childhood again? Can I record some more rock 'n' roll? Does anybody know how to play a guitar or drums anymore without a computer? No? Okay then, nevermind.
What happened to the fun 1970s and 80s? It's not fun anymore.

    #20. The Peel P-50.
#19. The Pope-mobile. This isn't strange, it was purpose built.
#18. L'oeuf (Egg) Electrque Concept car. (Environment BS.)
#17. The Weiner-mobile. For the purpose of advertisement.
#16. Messerschmitt KR200. It is a Company that started off making airplanes like BMW.
#15. 1921 Leyat Helica. The first flying car that couldn't fly. had to start somewhere.
#14. Ferrari Monza SP1. This the best one-seater you could think of? No wonder this video is lame.
#13. Cadillac Cyclone. Does even know why this happened? I doubt it. Cars from this time period were heavily influenced by the first jet planes. (All GM Companies had one by the way.
#12. All present Bugatti's are FUGLY. They aren't cool. And a Sports/Hyper car, should never be a Luxury car. All weight slows it down. The only thing it is good for was that it broke the 300 MPH Barrier. IF you can't on it by yourself, it isn't worth buying.
#11. Toyota Sera. See? Lambo doors are a bad idea. Someone had to say it.
#10. Stout Scarab. A Rear-engine, Rear-Wheel-Drive, (Real) mid-sized SUV.) If he had put cup holders in this, he would have sold millions. And an original is still a better purchase than what you can buy today.
#09. BMW Isetta. Rear-Wheel-Drive. A better choice than any compact you can buy today.
#08. 1948 TASCO. This has better aerodynamics that Super/Hyper cars from today and is 73 years old.
#07. Norman Timbs Special. It is the American Version of Italian Art Deco, which designed some of the most beautiful you ever see.
#06. 1955 Chrysler (Ghia) Streamline X ('Gilda'). Like with jet based designs it was a look at the hope of the Future in Space that we had been promised and was a first, (One of anyway.) Fantasy attempt at the Jetson's Car.
#05. Fiat Mulitipla. Everyone is entitled to one mistake.
#04. The reliant Robin. (One of Top Gears go to diss cars.)
#03. DMC DeLorean. It is here because of it's doors. I can name a few cars that had them before BTTF. 1963, (Not in order.)The Chevrolet Cheetah. (A One-off Corvette.) 1954 - 1957 M*B 300SL. 1974 Brickllin SV-1 De Tomaso Mangusta and Pantera.
    #02. 1955 Firebird. See #06.
#01. Ferrari 510 Modulo. A safe pick considering every other list like this has the same #1. It is similar to the Aston Martin Bulldog and the Alpha Romeo Carabo.
