Awesome infor!! Thanks, Tammy!!
Thank you Tammy for such an informative video. I learnt a lot. Especially about the GAC 800 which I only use to add to my house paint for blooms so that it doesn’t crack.
Excellent Tammy. Thank you so much. Hope we get to see you in Belize!!!
Blimy O'Reilly Tammy... that was such a fantastic video,, the end result reminded me of the film Maleficent.. awesome.
May I also say,.. I watched your auction after the event .. and I am so bloody proud of you. Well done.. Good going.. and keep it coming,,.. thank you .
Have I told you lately how awesome you are?! No I haven't, I've been remiss. This was an excellent tutorial, and I'm thrilled you experimented with the Artist Loft white to see how it would react to using a medium to help stabilize it. Thank you!
Have a fantastic trip & enjoy all your paint pals! 💕💖💕
Hello Tammy 👋 hope your 4th was an awesome one.
Hi Tammy, was RUclips surfing & u came up on top😁. I would like 2 kno a few things. I'd be very grateful. Here r 4 questions:
1.) Is there a special order 2 b followed when layering paint in2 the cup??
2.) DO certain paint brands need 2 b mixed with SPECIFIC pouring mediums 2 achieve the look u want?
3.) If I use heavy body, medium, student grade or craft paints, do I need 2 take in2 consideration the weight of the paint, or just the consistency of the paint order because each paints would be different. Some will sink or hardly move, while others will just lay on top only & on & on. So how do we layer the paint in2 the cup 2 avoid situations like these??
4.) U said mixtures change per the recipe needed 4 different effects desired. For example clouds, lace, large or small rings (open dots), blooms, flowers, pearls & much more. HOW DO WE KNO WHICH PAINT 2 PLACE IN THE CUPS 1ST, WHAT PAINT WILL MOVE?
Does any of this make sense or am I overthinking it??? Thanks a bunch I appreciate u getting back with me.
Hello Tammy!
My name is Deana. I live in Helena, Montana. A video of yours-How to measure different mediums. My point is- You said u were going on vacation in July. I have been watching acrylic paint pours on RUclips-Probably since December-Before this, I Never Know there was such a thing about acrylic paint pouring.
A woman came through Self Check-out at The Home Depot holding a bottle of Floutrol that she was ready to purchase. I said, "You do acrylic paint pouring.!" She said, "yes I do." Her acrylic paint pour is for hot plates-To place a hot skillet on the complete design she does (Do u understand? I do not know how to explain her art project s.) She showed me pictures of her complete projects-Interesting!
Anyways, I said, "have you seen the video off RUclips?" To make a conversation short-The woman I was talking to -She mentioned you and another female artist from Canada.
I have NoT bought any art supplies...Yet!
I do know, I have to buy a blow dryer, heat gun-I do not feel comfortable with buying a torch-They make me nervous!
Where do I degin? In buying my art supplies.
Tammy, what I want to say... Is you are Very Good at what you do! As a woman, you are So Talented.
Thank You for how you teach people who watch these videos.
This dutch pour turned out stunning IMO!! such richness. i love that!! great job Ms Tammy:) i have been doing fluid art for a little over a year now i believe and i still learn things every time i watch one of your videos so i thank you from the very bottom of my heart for that. i noticed that you really didnt touch on the gac 800. ik you said it was originally a pm and i realize that ppl use it in their blooms probably to reduce cracks and crazing possibly? (im still on my journey down that yellow brick bloom road ;) lol) but anyhoo, I do more dutch pours then anything else. thats my go to pretty much. what would you prefer that i could use that gac 800 in my dutch pour paints for? or rather off maybe i should just throw some in there and experiment like ya said, huh? its just expensive so i was wondering if you had a moment if you had any suggestions. if not that is ok and I completely understand!!!:)))) so i did notice that the PM may have helped with the not swallowing of the colors and cell explosion like in Kanellas. Or maybe im wrong but it didnt look as bad to me ? idk? thats veryyy interesting!!! i have some golden PM that ive been wanting to try so maybeee?? maybe that would help w me as well because i have that new flow acrylic as well and would absoluteloy LOVE to be able to use it because its soooo much cheaper then AMST or W&N or anything on that level really for that matter. hmmm. Listen Ms Tammy, these videos are NOT something that you have to do... BUT you still do and that shows how truly Big your heart is to want to teach us all of this and your love for this fluid art. YOU my friend, are such a good soul and i love ya like no other! THANK YOU SOOOOO SOOOO MUCH for all you do Ms Tammy! :x
Pour Big & Love Hard!!!
Hi Tammy. Thanks so much for all your informative videos. I've been binge-watching your recipes and back to basics videos. I've finally gotten my consistency right, thanks to the chart you shared. I just have a problem and maybe you've done a video regarding the use of floetrol that I just missed. It's very, very expensive where I live. I don't mind using it on the paints for the design. But would the amount of floetrol on the base paint make a difference on the effects? I would like to maybe use the Glue All in lieu of the floetrol or maybe Glue All and floetrol. I hope you don't mind answering this.
Liquitex has an iridescent medium. I have it, but haven’t tried it yet
I was so confused on a lot of this so thank you so very much. I feel like OK maybe I can do this but I have a lot of masters touch paint. Will that still work?
Thank you, really informative. Love this piece 💕
Tammy.. have you noticed or heard anything about newer Floetrol mix?? Have used it for yrs but recent batch has tons of tiny cells.. as if silicon added.. should i add glue all or return it?
Beautiful. What speed and temperature you have your hair dryer? Thanks for this video.
Thank you so much. Where can I get a hair dryer like your Flo?
I cannot get Artists Loft flow acrylic. Michael’s has none and I have ordered the white flow acrylic twice from Amazon and what they send me is called ‘soft acrylic’ instead of flow acrylic. Is this the same?
How do you avoid lots of cells?
I missed your live auction Friday! What didn’t you sell?
I like this and using this medium, you didn’t get as many cells as Kanella with her Floetrol medium.
