The one thing to remember with Ronnie.. He's not saying things for our benefit.. He's saying things with the aim of deflecting potential pressure. The only problem is.. it often sounds odd or even arrogant or disrespectful at times to us. If he has a weakness, it's his mental state and he's learned (with help) to cope with it. The fact he's positive in this interview.. is an ominous sign for the rest of his competition.

Eight of the last 13 world championship were won by the greatest player of all time & second greatest player of all time. Ronnie & Selby won 4 world titles each ( 2012 -2023.) I like Radzi. He actually knows to ask Ronnie normal questions and stuff outside of snooker. He listens and doesn't interrupt.
But I do have a soft spot for Rachey Casey. She is such a smooth operator and puts Ronnie at ease. Just does it better than Radzi who does make fumbles and mixes things up. It can be a bit cringe and feel a mistake is coming.
You NEVER get that with Casey. Unless she doesn't want to present, she should be given the chair imo.

agreed, Rachel Casey should be the main presenter on Eurosport, Jill Douglas on ITV is also top notch but Hazel Irvine on BBC is the best of the bunch. Ronnie is just a one off, to be able to make centuries with either hand is insane, and when he is focused he is almost unbeatable.
Mark Williams is another who is almost defying gravity, and when he beat Ronnie recently, it was the best I have ever seen him play.
If you haven't checked out Stephen Hendry's you tube channel, it is excellent, and the preview of the world championships, with a seemingly drunk Steve Davis is hilarious!
With Mark selby going out Ronnie's will be disappointed if he doesn't win it this year...he doesn't like playing selby here

It needs the same as happened in darts with Luke Littler. A young player coming through and showing zero respect to the older players. It could happen if Si Juhui goes on a run again and gets in the final playing fearlessly.
@@post3-zn5mh don't get me wrong. I've been watching snooker for 20 years and ronnie is my favorite, always has been and always will be. It's just find it strange that the sport heavily favors experience above youth. If the sport is to grow, the younger players will attract other young players.

Ronnie you should go to the Arabia and never play snooker again in the UK because you disregard snooker and players and do not care.
