I personally use the life size pack and Although I haven’t bought a 80% I will say the life size is definitely worth that 200$ price tag. Nice video ❤️👍
I have both the 80% scale pack and full size pack. The 80% scale is heavily modified but the full size is pretty much stalk with the exception of a light kit for the wand.
80% pack with the Spengler wand is a great solution for almost anyone and anyone on a budget. No one but hardcore fans will notice and it’s easier to maneuver around people/through doors. Full-size is worth it for the splurge, especially because of the power-on sequence and always-on mode, plus the wand does not need replacing.
So i'd like to start with i have worked on both of these packs I also own the expensive one he pushed off screen and I have built multiple proton packs from the ground up myself . I'm a cosplayer and I enjoy making things better than what they started with. For me the life-size one out of these two is definitely the best one. When I originally started with the 80% scale pack to make it feel more legitimate changing out Electronics and replacing the wand like in the video was a lot of work it came out okay and I enjoyed it at the time building my own pack with 3D printing and such. Also a lot of work but very rewarding I recently had gotten the full size pack and started working on it and realized it took very little to make this pack excellent. I changed out a few parts to make it more accurate I got some nice cyclotron covers and eventually replace the entire cyclotron but I have built these and know what I'm doing . But looking back if I had this full size pack when I first started I actually probably would have been very satisfied with just this and not going any further other than small improvements visually to make it closer to accurate even the electronics in this I haven't changed because overall I like them quite a bit Spirit put some real thought into this one and really made something that can stand up on its own and with a little extra polish and work the full size can really shine even up to some of the really expensive ones I know because I've lined them up and compared I applaud Spirit Halloween on this product and I highly recommend it to people just starting off and also to people more versed in the cosplay game who want a really good starting point on building their own pack. when I worked on my spirit pack, it was only the 80% model available. did a full mod of it, lights, electronics, ect. it was a fun project to work on, and many of my full sized pack (custom-made) friends loved it and wished they had the spirit pack bc its weight is so much lighter.
I have 3 packs (both sizes of the the Spirit & a Hasbro) I'm taking the full sized Spirit to Florida this Halloween because , I don't want to run the risk of getting the Hasbro pack damaged by the airline
My favorite would have to be my Hasbro As far as mods , I've done little. on my 80% pack , I replaced the cyclotron and powercell lights with accurate ones & replaced the wand. On the Hasbro, I added an alice frame
Im gonna save up money for the 80 percent pack! I already have 26 bucks and a coupon from Spirit halloween I also have a Birthday coming up! So ill get some money from that!!

You can also modify the 80% pack to have a different wand and a light kit to make the 80% pack more accurate
