I've just watched the original recording of this song, Karen playing drums & singing, Richard playing a piano, other backup instruments players, and backup singers as well. It was incredible!! On the other hand, here Charlie did a singing, piano playing, chorus part, and even the trumpet part (by his mouth 😂). Wow he did all of these all by himself, truly AMAZING!!! His voice is angelic and his piano skill is just . . . 💯❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥

He has great talent and skill but his songs only show a little of what he is capable because the pop market probably couldn’t handle the full complexity of his musicality if he were to unleash it. Burt Bacharach is an amazing songwriter so I can see why he might be a role model.
