Austin Model Railway Society
We are an HO scale model railroad club located in the Austin area. We welcome all who share a love for trains to visit or become a member at an upcoming meeting! Our 52x24 foot modular layout features the
Austin area. We usually meet from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm on the third Saturday of the month. Our next meeting will be held Saturday April 20 at Hope Presbyterian Church's fellowship hall/Hope Children's Center which is at 11512 Olson Drive.

Notice the brick kilns modeled in one corner, and a steam cotton compress in another corner, both well done and very rarely modeled on most layouts. (The photographs of the actual steam cotton compress and boiler in the Taylor, TX Cotton Compress warehouse are from the author's personal collection.) In the middle of the layout is a cotton field with the cotton being harvested.
