Thank you for sharing your experience. We were on the fence about trying to take public transportation to Blarney Castle. We are going to do it. Thank you! Thank you!
Nooooo way! I'm living in Ireland now, in Cork county))) Was working in Hertz rental car on this street at 2:04 min video, it's near Railway Station ))) And was watching your videos from Bulgaria (7 videos from Rezovo to North) on my break at work)))
If you're interesting about music fests, there is one I like very much, July Morning in Kamen Briag. It's every year fest, they're singing July Morning song bu Uriah Heep on the sun rise. Jonh Lawton, original singer, liked Bulgaria very much (he had house in Kavarna near golf fields) and he was at this fest couple times. I was there in 2012 and it was great! He passed away year ago but festival is still on. It was this morning I believe, so a bit late, but for next year you can visit it)
I'm thrilled to hear that! Trust me, channeling your inner adventurer and taking the independent route to Blarney Castle is an experience you won't regret. It's not just about the destination but the journey there.
Hello from Alberta, Canada. Just subscribed to your channel after watching this video. Well done and informative. We are doing a Great Britain cruise in May 2024 so will be checking out your other videos.

Nice video. We always DIY in ports too. We just found out our Transatlantic cruise is going to Cork instead of Brest France. If we don't care about the Blarney Castle and Stone, would you recommend taking the train to Cork, and spending a few hours there, or just stay in Cobh?
Thank you for the informative video. We are going to try to do the same to get to Blarney Castle, thanks to your video. Did you buy the train tickets ahead of time or did you buy them the day you arrived? What about the bus? How did you pay for that? Did you catch the bus at Blarney castle on the way back? Thanks so much for the info. ☘
We. Just got on the train and paid on the spot. We also were able to pay the bus driver and we just waited for the bus at the bus stop at Blarney Castle and paid the driver. It is a very small village.
Well we live in Bulgaria actually. Visiting these cute towns for a few hours is just a snap shot. Can get ideas to return to some places for a week or so.
"We like to mix with the locals" typical US person....goes to a place and doesn't learn how to pronounce it's name. if you'd have truly connected with locals they would have told you, it's cove not cobe Bh is pronounced as a V. So Aobha and Eobha are Ava and Eva 😂 good video. otherwise, though 👍

I love your videos! Very nicely paced and informative. We're headed to Cobb next week :-). Thanks for the info!
pronounced COVE. it uses the irish language 'BH' which gives it the V sound
Thank you I didn't know that!
Thanks so much! I’ll be there next month. The bus tour to Blarney is way too expensive so I appreciate learning about the train and bus.
Thank you for sharing the details of getting to the Blarney Castle. We may get brave enough to try it!

We really liked Cobh, you can combine visit to both Cork and Cobh. The train is very convenient.

Thank you for correcting my TYPICAL US pronunciation! Most of the locals we connect with are not as nice as you.
