Yesss I do my own lash extensions as well and one tip that I learned while doing mine is if you’re using a glue with strong fumes, dip the lash in the glue, use a fan to blow away the fumes before you put it on your lash! Works so well and does not irritate or burn my eyes at all!

Thank you for your updated video! I've been using individual lashes from the drugstore and the glue that comes with it but they're clusters and I'm fearful that it will cause lash damage in the long term especially since it's hard to glue them to 1 individual lash at a time. When you add an extension to each individual lash like you did, you minimize that risk so in a way it is healthier for your lashes than the alternative. Now I've seen it can be done, with precaution of course, and I might give it a try. Thanks again ❤️
Thank you for watching! I really did my lashes better the second time around with no irritation and a little bit faster. I think if you're super conscious about the fumes and glue and just making sure stays away from eyes and skin and not glueing lashes together you'll be okay. I didn't have any burning or irritation. But if you run into trouble maybe practice with a non professional adhesive like something over the counter. That's what the lash techs who are mad about this video are telling me hehe. If you happen to try it I'd love to see your result 🥰😍. Remember give yourself plenty of time to do it good luck!
Definitely dont use cluster lashes with strong glue. They wreck havoc. Good luck with one on one extensions also. If you are not careful to glue on only one natural lash, you may also damage your lashes.
Your video is so much better than all the other lash extension vids out there! You explained and executed everything beautifully. Thank you for this!! If you made other videos I'd definitely watch.

Thank youuuu! I recommend researching of course before trying as I did. Personally I wouldn't get mink but of course whatever you prefer. Would love to hear about your experience if you do it 😁😁 😍
They dont actually use real mink. They call them mink but they are synthetic. Same goes for silk, they are not real silk they are synthetic. Mink is a matte lash and sink has a sheen to it. The description silk or mink is just to describe the appearance, not what the lashes are made of. Real mink lashes can be found but they are very difficult to find and extremely expensive and not available on Amazon.
Hey love! You’re beautiful and did a BOMB job! You did it like a real lash tech. When I first started doing my own individuals, I found that the best thing for the fumes was to keep a handheld fan as close to me as possible, with the fan part blowing AWAY from my face. This helped with the fumes SO much, and I hope it helps you too! Brows are on POINT btw! xoxo 💖😘
@@chympmunck just the truth and i rarely say that to a woman cause natural beauty its rare found these days...unfortunately, but glad i saw ur video, really helped and your result its amasing.wish i will have that patience.
@@MsLilIsis I think you're my new favorite person haha thanks again so much😻! Yes patience is key here. It's easy to give up on these halfway through...I've felt that haha but I ad to finish. If you ever try, let me know how it goes !
@@chympmunck Question:how long do they last ?my eyelashes 2d or 3d at salon last 3-4 weeks, then have to refil as they start to bother me . i wonder how this glue works, and another question if u dotn mind and very important :does your eyes hurt while using the glue with eyes open? profesional glue for 2d 3 3d etc, like neicha, if u open just a little the eyes , damn hurts!
@@MsLilIsis Hi I'll be happy to answer based off my own experience 1. They last me about 2.5 solid weeks before I feel that I want to refill them. The first time I did them they cam off in about 1 week but with practice I'm getting better. I can't stress how important it is to prime them properly and to NOT get them wet for 18-24 hours to be the safest. 2. The adhesive, since I am applying on myself does not bother me. Again, constant air flow to my eye right after application to blow the fumes away from my eye was so important.i had no irritation or redness to eyes at all. Also be careful not to drop and eyelash into eye. I have also had my eyelashes done and yes accidentally opened my eyes while getting them done and it burned. I haven't worked with 2d or 3d and I am not quite sure what that means, I am guessing more volume. Right now I am sticking to the classic look and not doing more than I can handle at the moment. Maybe in future I will try the Hybrid lashes after some more research. Hope this answered! Long story short last me about 2.5 weeks and fumes don't hurt my eyes because I blow fumes away from my eyes and careful not to touch tip with glue to my eye:)
I love the way you do your lashes! I've been wanting to do them at home for a while now and this really helped. I don't like going out and spending so much money on something that I'm not very happy with so I was trying to figure out whether this was even possible. I think I'm honestly going to follow how you did this but I think the reason why the lashes were a bit harder to put on was that you were grabbing them more towards the outer tip and not closer to the inner tip (closer to the tip touching the actual lash). Other than that I think this was such an amazing job for at-home lashes, thank you!
You’re so down to earth and have a sweet voice that’s pleasant to hear I really found this helpful Could you lower down the music when you talk Btw they looked super cute afterwards 💚💚💚
You did an awesome job....your eyes look amazing!!! Would you consider doing a tutorial on how to apply to lower lashes in the same fashion? I don't have very many and would like to see how you do them!
maybe turn your background music lower than your voice when speaking cuz you talk very quietly and the music overpowers it so cant hear much at some points
I love the video. I will give it a try. I got all the supplies listed by you. I jus don’t like how the salon do it for me. I like lil extension for a natural look. But they always come out too much n fall out in 5 days 4 my right eyes. My left eye last more than 15 days. Salon has very inconsistent work. Thanks Kayla!
This was amazing to watch. I don’t know why people keep freaking out about people doing their OWN lashes. I did the same thing on my channel but with volume lashes. It’s our bodies.
What I don't get is why some people are mean about it. There is concern and there is just being an asshole...but all we can do is stay positive and true to ourselves right 😂😂😂 I'll check your video out !
I have really bad anxiety. I used to love going to the salon for my lashes but lately with my anxiety as I lay down to close my eyes, my eyes flutter WAY TOO MUCH. I literally gotta lay there for a few min. until I can relax my mind & heart. Normally the techs is really nice about it but the last tech kind of got upset with me (if she only knew that only makes the anxiety worst!). She literally was tapping the sides of my temple and "soothingly" said "relax, relax, relax." Anyways, I was looking to see if I can do my own lashes. I'm definitely gonna try to try this on my own. Btw - I Tipped the tech $26. bc of my fluttering eyes. 😂 Great video, I'm gonna practice until I get it!
I’ve been wanting to do my own lashes for a long time ...thanks to you I’m defo going to give it a go after watching your video . can you tell me how long they lasted using that adhesive...x
Omg thank you for this video! Lol I was so curious if you can do it on your own and of course it probably isn't recommended but I'm sure a lot of us were curious to how the experience is to try it at home. I really enjoyed this video! ☺️☺️☺️☺️
Hey! Love this tutorial btw, but question for clarification... it looks as if you apply the lash extensions underneath your normal lashes... is that right, or do you actually put them on top? I’m asking because other people place them on top & just wanted to see if the bottom worked too. Thank you!
You can do all three. She is using elliptical lashes, which are a little more rectangular in shape, so they should go on the top or bottom of the natural lash. A regular circular lash you can put side to side with the natural lash.
You are so pretty and I love the look of the lashes in both videos. 💝👀 I am grateful that you added the update about the cruelty to the minks. 😢 It is an important factor and to be honest I couldn't tell which was which. 🔴There is NO positive reason for anyone to buy 🚫mink❌ lashes. I would love to hear an update on the glue. Thanks again. PS I'm going to go and get mine professionally done because I have ZERO patience for the look I want. I would be 12 hours in the bathroom for 1 eye! LOL I'm glad you did these videos otherwise I was about to order the supplies. 😫👍🏼👍🏼
You are so sweet! Thank you , and yes at least according to the internet there is no actual cruelty free mink lashes so I agree the silk alternatives for me work just as well. :) Haha yes take sooo much patience especially because either wanted them perfect haha. Thank you for watching ❤️😊😊😊
I just bought this Lyon Lash adhesive. I noticed after applying on 3 clients it did not want to glue on as it did at first. What was your experience have you used it more than once? I love that there was no fumes.
Oh my god!! Finally found a good diy on this!!! I put on lashes over the weekend for the first time by myself and it was a success. Now I want to do individual lashes and I couldn't find a good explanation video of diy. Its mostly professionals teaching the techniques. I'm so glad to know this can be done! 😆😁😄😃 #notalone
Girlllllllll you did excellent.. I enjoyed this video.. I'm a licensed cosmetologist interested in doing my own lash extensions because every time I go and get them done they make them too full and I just want a few wispies and I don't feel like paying $75 just to put 15 to 20 extensions on my eyes. I would definitely be going to Amazon and getting everything that you got. Like I said once before this is a great and excellent video thanks
OMG this is amazing. I could never have this much patience or be this precise. Pretty sure I would stab my eye w the tweezers. Also, you have a LOT of natural lashes. I haven't finished watching the vid but I know they are going to look amazing!!
It's not as easy as it looks 1 hour and I managed to get 5 lashes on one eye 😂 I got sensitive eye glue and I feel like it takes forever to stick to the lash too 😬
Wearing contact lenses will help take away the fumes of the glue. This is how I do my own lashes. I have very sensitive eyes too. But it takes my an hour to do my both eyes with the contacts in. After ur done, wait for a few minutes before taking your contacts out because it still burns for a while. Hope this helps.
But I can’t see if u put it between your own lashes or Under because I have umbrellas for eyelashes I think if it’s between my natural lashes mine will just go down
Never prep your lashes with a cotton bud!! Cotton can react with lash adhesive and cause an exothermic reaction, you’re best using a micro swab/micro brush instead!! So lucky you didn’t injure yourself
Like your sweet voice! And I did eyelash extensions for my best friends several times before. After watching your video, I decide to try on myself, thanks!
Ahh I finally did my own lashes! The glue was fast drying and the blowing did help from the fumes. I took the risk and im glad i did. One tip tho, practice separating lashes before going in with the glue, that way less accident. She does the separating of lashes soo effortlessly 😍 i wish i could do that, but hey practice makes perfect! Your video was soo informative so i thank you very much ☺️☺️☺️

I just saw your tutorial. It was very helpful. One suggestion (if i may) turn down the back ground music. It's hard to hear your voice when you are close to the mirror and speaking softly. I'm going to give it a try, hope it will turn out as well as yours. Thanks

U did great. Never though it would b possible to do your own lashes, I will definitely try
You are so natural and beautiful! Thanks for sharing your experience, literally such a helpful video hun.👌🏾✨🖤
This is on a professional level. I tried doing it this way once and I couldn’t so I give up, I just can’t get my lash separated.
I love how calm and sweet you are! I love this video and appreciate it a lot.☺️ I subscribed also by the way!
Thank you so much. Hope to have a new video for you all in the future💙
Yes do an updated lash video ! Or your favorite products from amazon for lashes (:
@@esbeydyyy I just did them again today but I didn't get a chance to film :( I think my next vid will be the removal!
OMG you rock and your are so encouraging, and i might be reaching but you make me feel like i can possibly do this. Never the least i am going to try. Thanks Kayla and by the way very very good job, they look absolutely fabulous !
That's very sweet. Hope you have a positive experience!
It’s a little bit hard to hear you since the music is almost louder than your voice, but super cool vid overall!!
WOW THEY CAME OUT SO BEAUTIFUL
Thank you Martha !!
I started out useing hair glue and the clusters.lol.then i finally went and spent 150$on exstentions they told me where mink.well they lied and they where plastic.now i ordered primer ,tweezers, and exstention glue .i do my lashes myself and love it.your eyelashes look amazing longer.i love your video .
@@HipChey oh lol .thats good to know
Any tips for how to not have the glue burn your eye ? Even if the glue never directly touches my eye balls it still makes them burn like crazy
@@CassieMForeverx3 get them done by a professional and do not copy this idiot in the video.
So I’m a lash tech wanting to do my own lashes and I’m really impressed thank you for sharing
Wow they came out so nice and natural looking I'm good with just lashes too so thank you for your review
I want to try and do my own eyelash extensions and you motivated me so much bc of how easy you made it look . You did a great job !
Haha it does kinda look easy but it is pretty difficult so please be careful and best of luck
Brows are on POINT btw! xoxo 💖😘
Yeah a fan would be so much better haha thank you
You are such a beauty queen and not even wearing make up or foundation !!wow!! rare beauty!
Wow I definitely do not hear that a lot. Thank you so much, made my day!🥰
@@chympmunck just the truth and i rarely say that to a woman cause natural beauty its rare found these days...unfortunately, but glad i saw ur video, really helped and your result its amasing.wish i will have that patience.
@@MsLilIsis Hi I'll be happy to answer based off my own experience
Wooooooow, I can't believe you are filming this on a Google pixel. Can you please do a tutorial on how you record.
Haha that's a good idea but really the phone does all the work. Shoots in 4k if you want it to! Highly recommend this phone
@@chympmunck ikr great camera
I love the way you do your lashes! I've been wanting to do them at home for a while now and this really helped. I don't like going out and spending so much money on something that I'm not very happy with so I was trying to figure out whether this was even possible. I think I'm honestly going to follow how you did this but I think the reason why the lashes were a bit harder to put on was that you were grabbing them more towards the outer tip and not closer to the inner tip (closer to the tip touching the actual lash). Other than that I think this was such an amazing job for at-home lashes, thank you!
Coming from a lash artist you did soo good. You should become a lash artist.
Wow thank you!
So helpful! I’ve been waiting on this type of tutorial! Thank you
You’re so down to earth and have a sweet voice that’s pleasant to hear I really found this helpful
Could you lower down the music when you talk
Btw they looked super cute afterwards 💚💚💚
You did an awesome job....your eyes look amazing!!! Would you consider doing a tutorial on how to apply to lower lashes in the same fashion? I don't have very many and would like to see how you do them!
Thank you I have. I have a new video coming soon. However I don't put lashes on my bottom ones 🙂
maybe turn your background music lower than your voice when speaking cuz you talk very quietly and the music overpowers it so cant hear much at some points
It’s kind of hard to separate lashes. I did it but any tips in separated the leashes?
You are suuuch a natural beauty 😍
Thank you very much! Now I do my lashes extension by myself, and I love it! Everyone is impressed! ✨
Thank you so much. 😍😍😍
Way better than spending $125, and maybe buying a little fan to dry the glue
This was amazing to watch. I don’t know why people keep freaking out about people doing their OWN lashes. I did the same thing on my channel but with volume lashes. It’s our bodies.
What I don't get is why some people are mean about it. There is concern and there is just being an asshole...but all we can do is stay positive and true to ourselves right 😂😂😂 I'll check your video out !
@@chympmunck You are absolutely right! 🙂
How many lashes did you put on each eye? So glad you posted this!
Hi! May I know where did you put the synthetic mink lashes? Between the hair strands or you're sticking it with the real lashes?
On one single lash you do not want to touch the skin
Beautiful work👏🏻please give us an update video, how did it work out with fills??
Starts at 7:40
Great video btw !
i love this video it’s so transparent and informative and ur voice is lovely & you’re so pretty THANK UU for video :3
I’ve been wanting to do my own lashes for a long time ...thanks to you I’m defo going to give it a go after watching your video . can you tell me how long they lasted using that adhesive...x
A magnifying mirror is a must and good lighting! 3-4 weeks:)
Omg thank you for this video! Lol I was so curious if you can do it on your own and of course it probably isn't recommended but I'm sure a lot of us were curious to how the experience is to try it at home. I really enjoyed this video! ☺️☺️☺️☺️
Yeah that's how it started I just wanted to see. 😁
@@chympmunck also a question! Did the fumes from the glue burn your eyes at all?
Hey! Love this tutorial btw, but question for clarification... it looks as if you apply the lash extensions underneath your normal lashes... is that right, or do you actually put them on top? I’m asking because other people place them on top & just wanted to see if the bottom worked too. Thank you!
Hi thanks for the question! I try to put them on top or on the side:) again NOT on the skin. Hope this helps 🤩
You can do all three. She is using elliptical lashes, which are a little more rectangular in shape, so they should go on the top or bottom of the natural lash. A regular circular lash you can put side to side with the natural lash.
Okay but like she’s gorgeous!!!
You are gorgeous! Thank you for the tutorial! Probably the easiest most detailed one I’ve found made by a regular person
Thanks so much 🤩
Better than most lash techs I know 😳
❤️❤️❤️
You are so pretty and I love the look of the lashes in both videos. 💝👀
I am grateful that you added the update about the cruelty to the minks.
@@chympmunck PS I subscribed to your channel. I think you have a lot of intelligent things to say. 👍🏼😊
@@Cyndy101 thanks so much!!! And if you have any ideas what things you'd like to see let me know:)
Thank you so much for your video!!!! You did an amazing job, I've been trying to find a video on this for a while. Do more please!
I just bought this Lyon Lash adhesive. I noticed after applying on 3 clients it did not want to glue on as it did at first. What was your experience have you used it more than once? I love that there was no fumes.
this is the best DIY lash video I have seen!!! 💛
Your brows are so good 😭 do you use anything/suggest a product for people who have bit of patches in their brows like me?
Best DIY lash video I’ve seen so far! Thanks!
😭thank you so much. I hope you have a great experience!🥰
You do a great job and explained perfectly! Do you apply then on top of the real lash or on the bottom of it?
Hello typically on the side it seems to stay better and remember never ever let it touch skin
You did such a great job! I don't think I could do an even close job on myself and I was a lash technician for almost a year
This seems so helpful and they look so natural! Thank you for this video
Thank you!
OMG this is amazing. I could never have this much patience or be this precise. Pretty sure I would stab my eye w the tweezers. Also, you have a LOT of natural lashes. I haven't finished watching the vid but I know they are going to look amazing!!
You’re a lifesaver omg ❤️❤️
So natural looking. Great job.
I use micro brushes now:)
Like your sweet voice! And I did eyelash extensions for my best friends several times before. After watching your video, I decide to try on myself, thanks!
How did it come out ? Awesome !
Sis my eyes burn when I attempt this 😩 you didn’t even start watering lol good job
I love your eyebrows they’re so nice
You're so sweet
Ahh I finally did my own lashes! The glue was fast drying and the blowing did help from the fumes. I took the risk and im glad i did. One tip tho, practice separating lashes before going in with the glue, that way less accident. She does the separating of lashes soo effortlessly 😍 i wish i could do that, but hey practice makes perfect! Your video was soo informative so i thank you very much ☺️☺️☺️
Aw thank you means so much. Yes I feel like the blowing as funny as it sounds makes a huge difference. And sorry for the loud music next video will have it much lower or none at all. Thanks for sharing your experience!😍😍😍😍
Ruby Ferolino what glue did you use ?
You're so sweet! I had a hard time hearing you. Your voice is so soft and then the background music really drowned it out too. Thanks for the tips though!
Hoping to have been vid out soon with all this time I have
You are simply adorable and so helpful! I am going to do my lashes on my own in few days. I am glad I found this video.
More power to you🌸 keep coming with videos😘
Best of luck to you. Let me know how it goes
I just saw your tutorial. It was very helpful. One suggestion (if i may) turn down the back ground music. It's hard to hear your voice when you are close to the mirror and speaking softly. I'm going to give it a try, hope it will turn out as well as yours. Thanks
Just uploaded new video without music:)
Are you putting them on the underneath of the lash or on top of the lash when your sticking them on ?
Shan Ray it looks like she’s putting them directly on her lash line
@@malimytai8620 no that would cause a lot of issues per my research. About 2mm away from lash line :)
