This is such a timely video. I’m repotting mine today. Thanks for the helpful tips. I have a large knitting needle that I use to help separate the roots. It works perfectly and slides in between the roots so easily. Hope this helps. I really appreciate you making the videos that you do.
I got a monstera a few weeks ago from a plant shop. I noticed one had gnats, so I picked one that was on the other side of the store but I’m sure I brought the gnats home😭 I had to repot her yesterday in some chunky soil.
Two questions: (1) so many people on Reddit and elsewhere suggest people use a support with a monstera. I noticed this one does not have one. Is it necessary? What is the benefit? (2) is it ok to have more than one monstera in a pot?
@@510lorip the customer didn’t ask for a moss pole here which is the only reason I didn’t add one. The benefit is larger leaves and a controlled plant. Fine to have multiples in one pot

I have to repot my monstera this weekend, it’s like you knew. I’m planning to mix up my own soil mix but hopefully I can find the perfect pot.
Tanner, I would love for you to touch base on the difference between the deliciosa and borsigiana
I put my aerial root back in the soil. It has put out so many new leaves.
How did you know I just got soil for my first Monstera Deliciosa. Perfect timing. Thanks!

Great video but very dark. It’s hard to see all you’re doing.
