    Really great interview! Wasn't staged or forced, just Adam and Mike talking about the band, their lives and music in general. You asked insightful questions, it makes the viewer think they are right there just listening to some friends conversing. I had a meet and greet with this band in Indianapolis this summer. I did know about this band and their members, I do own their album and they are Great! It's a really good album and as you mentioned they put on a hell of a live show. Their experience shows and they don't come off as a new band at all. They have the right idea to go on the road with big established bands to get their name out there! Can't wait til the next album and tour! So glad Adam's in a better place ;) Huge Fan! Anyway thanks again for the interview!

    Maybe the interviewer wanted more hype from them but I'm glad they just kept it honest and calm.

      It's exactly like that and he had a divorce soon after leaving the band so all that is lumped together emotionally. Being friends with someone for 20 years is pretty intimate even if it's not romantic. Some people talk about him leaving the band as if it was an impersonal experience I'm sure it wasn't. He probably does not want to open his mouth and say something regrettable about them like Neil did either. Breakups happen but the tact afterwards counts do you go around bad mouthing them just to be an asshole after? Still couple get divorced after 15 or 20 years together and there is less drama. Like oh you were sick of eachother oh well life goes on but it's like he is not allowed to leave and it's not even a romantic relationship. He didn't betray anyone in having left he would have betrayed himself had he stayed.

      Most importantly got off the drugs Kurts brain was scrambled with heroin. Also I think Adams ex wife encouraged him to go to rehab so I would not compare her to Courtney Love either. I would not compare Adam to Kurt though lots of musicians AND non musicians have drug problems lots of the grunge singers used drugs. Kurt was just one of many musicians who have ODed over the years Adam might have considered that when he went to rehab. Besides I think Kurt blew his head off with a shotgun so it was a suicide.

    I'm a huge Adam fan, he is probably my favorite singer (when in 3DG), but honestly 3DG's new album was way better than Saint Asonia's. It seems that Adam is happy now. Good rock is generally made of sorrow and disintegration. Lol.

    • @AnnaLVajda
      @AnnaLVajda 3 года назад

      Adam was raised more on classic rock which is not always depressing lyrically and alternative grunge styles that often are. Rock has a lot to do with the instruments and sound not just the song lyrics imo.

    They always down play the "super" group title in interviews I'm not sure why since they all merged from other successful bands? Are they just being humble or want to stay low key or I wonder why that is. Anyway I think they sound good and it's nice to see Adam be happy and evolve.

    • @AnnaLVajda
      @AnnaLVajda 3 года назад

      Really sounds like Aaron got to leave on better terms than Adam did I think 3DG may have irreconcilable differences whereas Mike was easier going about a side project.

    • @AnnaLVajda
      @AnnaLVajda 3 года назад

      I notice in many of these interviews how apologetic Adam almost has to be just for having left as if he had an affair with another band or something or it was some crime to leave 3DG it's really strange how he acts put on the spot to explain himself all the time as if having health concerns and being unhappy with 3DG is not a good enough reason to leave? The guy was like 35 why does he need permission to make a personal life choice like that? SMH. Did people expect him to stay and just put up with whatever was making him miserable that is so selfish. It's like not happy eh worried about your well being and mental health eh well instead of being supportive lets harass and ridicule him and lay some manipulative guilt trip on him so he can't enjoy the rest of his life as punishment for not continuing to entertain them and they probably call that love or being a fan. People are so fucked up.

    • @AnnaLVajda

      I like how Adam said it was effecting him spiritually and emotionally. People criticizing his decision are probably just not evolved or mature enough to respect that. You say anything about your soul or spirit now people react like you are a religious nut or something instead of that just being understood as a vital component to a persons well being.
