I was homeless for several years, a foster child, my mother is alcoholic and I was adopted by a wonderful woman and she passed away over a decade ago…She lived a long life! I was abused by multiple people including church folks….I’ve had boils on all my body including my ears….I was an asthmatic as a baby….I also in a car accident and house fire that could have took my life. Whew free from depression and suicidal thoughts. I still deal with anxiety, I have Tourette’s. Last year this time I was going to give up on my dream of finishing school. I was so depressed from the choices I made and kept getting disappointed. I was in things for the thrill of them. Thank God he broke me free from that. I’m healthy, happy and most importantly I opened up my heart to God and found my way back to him. I was literally thinking about how many pills I could take to go to sleep and never wake up. That was a demon I was facing. I couldn’t even give my all to my daughter and it made me feel like I was worthless. This June I decided to take my entry test to get into my nursing program. I had been in school for about 3 years and was going to throw it all away but God pulled me out of that dark hole like ONLY HE CAN. I took time for myself and to get back closer to God and now I have been thriving almost done with my first semester of nursing school I just have a year left and I thank God I listened and obeyed him. I get emotional when I think about where I was a year ago. I’m 28 and my daughter will be 4 this month. I thank God for his grace and giving me a support system because it gets HARD. Now I’m in a healthy, transparent, EQUALLY yoked relationship for 8 months and things do get better I’m a living witness🙌🏾😭😭🥹🫶🏾❤️🙏🏾

I was forced by my narcissistic ex to abort my precious angel boy and after taking the pills and bleeding for a couple of hours I dropped to the floor and begged Abba for my beautiful child. I felt so alone. My mom passed away 2 years ago. I haven't had a cuddle hug since she passed. Ever since I was young I use to stay under her arms. I was craving that soooo much. Whew free from depression and suicidal thoughts. I still deal with anxiety, I have Tourette’s. Last year this time I was going to give up on my dream of finishing school. I was so depressed from the choices I made and kept getting disappointed. I was in things for the thrill of them. Thank God he broke me free from that. I’m healthy, happy and most importantly I opened up my heart to God and found my way back to him. I was literally thinking about how many pills I could take to go to sleep and never wake up. That was a demon I was facing. I couldn’t even give my all to my daughter and it made me feel like I was worthless. This June I decided to take my entry test to get into my nursing program. I had been in school for about 3 years and was going to throw it all away but God pulled me out of that dark hole like ONLY HE CAN. I took time for myself and to get back closer to God and now I have been thriving almost done with my first semester of nursing school I just have a year left and I thank God I listened and obeyed him. I get emotional when I think about where I was a year ago. I’m 28 and my daughter will be 4 this month. I thank God for his grace and giving me a support system because it gets HARD. Now I’m in a healthy, transparent, EQUALLY yoked relationship for 8 months and things do get better I’m a living witness🙌🏾😭😭🥹🫶🏾❤️🙏🏾

I was forced by my narcissistic ex to abort my precious angel boy and after taking the pills and bleeding for a couple of hours I dropped to the floor and begged Abba for my beautiful child. It's an amazing thing to be able to choose myself! After my divorce of 27 yrs, I realized that although it was one of the hardest things that I'd ever been through, it was necessary for me to be where I am today. It was then that I realized that at 48 years old I didn't know who I was. My failed marriage, my children, my church affiliation, and my family didn't define who I really was. I had to take the masks off. I had to love myself enough to no longer allow anyone else to use or abuse me. I had to learn to love ME!! I'm 51 years old now and un-apologetically ME!!!
