Will this fit if I have powered seats? The crossover location looks like where the powered seats module goes.

Dear Focal, if I have a burmester set, should I connect it through crossovers? Because the burmester amplifier partially cuts the frequency itself.

I installed them in a w213 e class burmester. I had to tune down the treble to -4. Upgrading the center speaker does help with the mid, but the lack of a proper 6.5 inch hurts the overall SQ and mid bass performance.

Same results myself turn down my treble to -4 after this mod on my GLE. I replaced the amp with a Fischer Match 10. Plug and play.

@@emeivi5564 The burmester amplifier already has crossovers in it, did you connect the cables to the speaker itself or did you run it through the crossovers?

    Hello Focal,
    I am Installing into a W213 / E Class.
The stock system has seperate output cables for the tweeter and door speaker.
The focal crossover only has 1 input.
Should I splice the stock 2 output cables together?
Or just use the door speaker output? If so, what should I do with stock tweeter output cable?
    Thank you

Dropped these in, they're very very very bright. Not sure if I'm a fan, find myself reaching for the volume down.

Hello, thank you for your purchase and for your interest in Focal products.
The " bright " effect perceived while listening is caused by a boost of the high frequencies in the OEM amplifier of your vehicle. This high frequency enhancement is present to compensate the lack of the original speakers.
We recommend lowering the treble level in your audio settings to get a flat signal.
      Best regards.

@@Focalofficial yeah I've pulled the EQ around as much as possible and looked at the curve on an RTA. The addendum to the documentation suggests to put a cap on the mid woofer, does still have a big gap in the mid-bass. Without changing the stock amp out, value is somewhat limited.

@@Focalofficial So after having these in a Burmester car for a month, with the eq setting high-10 mid-6 bass-0 I can say that the combo of these drivers and the factory EQ doesn't work. The natural bump the driver has a 15k (as seen the tech sheet) and the EQ for the old drivers means they're just not a pleasant, cymbals have a glassy brittle crunch to them. I have since put a 8 chan DSP amp in (with a MOST150 to optical link) which gives you a clean signal to start with and para EQ to remove any unwanted peaks, but you're into a decent lump of money in hardware and time (£2k plus). My advice is unless you're going to replace the burmester amps, leave the factory drivers alone and just look a sub.
