    That was a great video, I'm in the process of buying a 2038R. Seeing your configuration on a 16 footer was eye opening. Thanks for the info.

    Great video! I’ve been looking for a trailer and believe I will need a 22ft bc mine measures with brush hog and 22ft. Another you could do to free up space that I’ve seen other do on your current set up. Install your grapple and pick your bucket up inside of you grapple and you will lose almost no space with that. That is as long as your bucket would fit inside your grapple.

    Great video. I just ordered a 24ft Diamond C tilt trailer because I know the tractor I want to get is 15ft long with the FEL. Add another 9ft of length for a 6ft bush hog and you’re at 24ft. The tilt deck has an 18in knife edge on the back for a total length of 25.5ft. Good to see your equipment on the trailers, thanks!

      Thanks for watching. You will not be disappointed. I love my tilt deck for everything. Tractors, excavators, skid steers, UTV’s, they all load so easily.

    If you wanted to make it work with the 16ft you'd have to flip the tractor to put the tail wheel over the tung and pull the buckt. That said I agree 20' is a sweet spot.

    • @BBLandServices
      @BBLandServices  3 года назад

      With out a dove tail can’t back on. The tail wheel will not lift high enough. If you have a dovetail and you can get it on backwards.

    Great video. I’m trying to decide what trailer to buy to haul a jd2038r. Seeing the tractor with implements on both trailers is very helpful. Is your tow vehicle a 1500, 2500, or 3500 series pickup truck? Thanks for the video.

      2500 diesel. Pulled with a 1500 for a while. TransmissionS were getting expensive.

    This is probably the least talked about subject for your tractor but one of the most important, if you want to get it right the first time.
    You'd think there would be a lot more videos about it, not to mention properly securing.

    • @BBLandServices
      @BBLandServices  3 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for watching. Yeah I was trying to save some one making the same mistake I did. People look at the size of the tractor and don’t think about the implements.

    Yeah, I did the measurements, and it looks like I would need a 20' trailer for my 3038e + loader/bucket and 1 implement. I haven't pulled the trigger on one, though, because a) I don't yet have a need to move it around beyond where I live, and b) all I have is a (gas) F150 which I'm not sure is adequate to the task, if I were to take it very far (especially if I were to go where it's hilly, unlike our very flat land around here). A 26'? No way with my truck, right? Any thoughts?
    Your trailer is awesome, though - congrats on getting that! I'd be tickled to get a hand-me-down 16 footer like yours, even if I had to take 2 trips. (Locally, of course.)
    Thanks for sharing, and I enjoyed you including your son (I presume?) and dog. Nice post!

      Thank you for watching. I pulled for a while with a Chevy 1/2 ton. Went through two transmissions in less than a year. I miss my F150 ‘a. They were stout trucks. I would pull a 20’ locally occasionally with a F150 as long as it’s one of the newer ones. 2010’+. I live in the North Georgia mountains where everything is a hill. So 2500 Cummins is my choice. May go to a 3500 for my next on for pulling excavators and skid steers. Yes that is my 3 year old son. He is one of 5 sons I have. The baby is 1 year.

    Where would you recommend buying a trailer in or around Blairsville? I’m in HAYESVILLE, NC. Thanks for posting!

      I had to travel all over. Got my 26’ GN in Chattanooga TN. My 24’ tilt GN in Cumming GA at Chipper LLC. Got my 16’ GN dump at Georgia Trailer outlet. Look up outlaw trailers. They are near sweet water TN I think.

    I just bought a 3032e and bucket to tail wheel I was 20’. My dump trailer is 14’ and my flatbed is 16’. Fortunately I live 3 miles from the dealer. Trying to figure out what to get rid of and what to buy.

    • @BBLandServices
      @BBLandServices  Год назад +1

      I love my dump trailers and I love my goose neck. I would not have equipment without a dump trailer. I had to sell the 26’ that I had in this video and got a 24’ deck over because the 26’ low boy was dragging every in the mountains. I miss those two extra feet of deck sometimes tho but a 24’ is still a great fit for these machines with a bush hog on them.

    Lift your bucket drive the tractor on further take your ramps off back your tractor up chain your tractor down and go!!
    Don’t blame the guys that are trying to help you out.

      The ramps on that trailer didn’t remove without taking a single bar all the way out. I load and unload sometimes 5-6 times a day. So needed something more efficient
