Hello my name is Brad Postman and I get to introduce this beautiful brand new 2015 Cadillac Escalade Platinum with the white diamond tri-coat paint. Right off the bat you'll see Cadillac has redesigned there emblem, by getting rid of the wreath and enlarging the crest. On the front end you'll also notice the intellibeam L.E.D headlights which will automatically switch from high beam to low when oncoming headlights or taillights are sensed. Underneath the hood is a 6.2L V8 which puts out 420 hp and 460 lb ft of torque. All that means is that you can get where you need to go in a hurry.
On the side of the vehicle you'll notice the beautiful 22" silver metallic rims. To add to the modern and sleek appearance is the L.E.D accents on the door handles, under the mirrors, and under the power retractable side steps. When the vehicle is unlocked the vehicle lights up in all these locations to illuminate the surroundings making entry easy. Once any door is opened the power retractable steps extend out and once the door is closed after a couple seconds they retract. Another couple features this Cadillac has is front and rear cameras making this big size vehicle easy to park. Accompanied with the cameras is a birds eye view of the vehicle which comes up on the CUE system screen giving you a look from above of whats around.
Making our way to the back of the vehicle you'll notice my favourite part the Light-Blade LED tail lamps. When there on they just add to the modern sleek look of the Escalade. You'll also notice the ultra sonic sensors on the back/ front for making parking easy. The Glass portion lifts up separate from the tailgate making it very easy to grab items from the trunk without opening the whole tailgate. The tailgate itself is also power and also programmable making it easy to adjust how far it actually opens. You'll notice acouple different switches in the back of the trunk. These switches are for the power folding rear seats both up and down and the captains chairs power down in the middle. In the trunk you'll also find an additional storage compartment for smaller items you'd like to keep from sight.
Sitting in the cockpit its hard to pick a starting point there is so much cool technology in here. Lets start with the cool compartments, behind the climate control screen there is a lockable storage area that opens up with a touch of a button. When I first got in this vehicle I came across a button that I didn't know what it was. Well apparently there is a cooler in the middle console to keep your drinks cool with a switch of a button. Obviously I don't condone drink and driving. On the top off the console there's a wireless charging station for your cell phone. So as long as your cellphone is compatible you'll be able to wireless charge your phone. With that comes blue tooth connectivity and hands free controls on the steering wheel. Standard features on the platinum Escalade are things like power pedals, power tilt and telescopic steering, lane departure warning, park assist, heated cooled seats with massaging drivers seat and a heated steering wheel just to name a few. The driver also gets a beautiful 12" colour and customizable screen with modes like simple, enhanced, balanced and performance. This vehicle also comes with a HUD which stands for Heads Up Display. The HUD makes it seem like your in a fighter jet displaying your speed in the windshield so you don't have to take your eyes off the road. There is so much more technology in this vehicle which I can't cover in this video, so give me a call. How come you didn't show the second row powering down or didn't show the kick your foot feature to open the tail gate? You also didn't mention the most unique lighting accent when you unlock your vehicle at night was not the mirrors but the light strip LED along the power deploying assist steps. :) I'm nitpicking lol but nice video. Good job.
