Not only are the visuals stunning, but I love seeing how carefree Marina has been lately. It's so contagious.
It's true! A complete shedding of the angst and tension of Electra Heart (with remnants still in Froot). If she's interpreting her environment (as she mentions she does in her songwriting), she seems to be championing nature for us to find and enjoy ourselves.

I wish I had knew her from the beginning! I got into her maybe a bit over a year ago. All her music is great, and I wish I had listened to her instead of the radio singles that played all around me.

Remember when everybody was hating Froot because it was different to Electra Heart? Well, the same is happening with Love + Fear, it’s a different style again that people don’t like at first but later will love.

Marinas music has always dripped in high concept themes, characters and aesthetic. This feels like a break from that. A stripped back return to nature and in that a return to Marinas true self.
Sarah Bear I still find some pattern in these songs. I have found that word "belong" in 2 of them and I think is a general topic on the album. She mention greenery and animals too. I think loving the Earth and nature is a big topic on Love at least.

Marina is the most heartfelt honest there is. What makes her great from the beginning is how she captures honest feelings that people either cant put in to words or cant express. The paradoxes, internal struggles, romances etc. that we all face. She has portrayed this very truthful human condition that so much of us can relate to. Through out her entire career, it has been intense honesty that has made her brilliant.
In my darkest moments, and in my happiest; I've turned to Marina. There's no way I can convey thanks enough for her music.
