Watching this, I'm pretty sure that you're a good Lucario. But when making a montage, don't put every single kill you get on it. A lot of these is literally just landing a random smash attack that killed.

I love Lucario, but won't play him because his high-risk playstyle doesn't bode well with me.
It is refreshing to see somebody good with him though, cause all the Lucario mains in my area dropped him . :(

dont 100% percent agree with high risk. its more of if u dont use a character with a kill move ur dead he a glass cannon gives loads of damage but when he vs some that can kill with ease it turns to a hard match up 4 lucario. and who do u main just curious!

This looks a lot like my Lucario these days. Those strings are REALLY satisfying to pull off. The surprise factor of Down Smash was new to me though. I need to implement that haha

Im new to smash and i really like lucario, im just wondering how you were able to up-smash right after neutral special? seems like its really handy
+xcwolf777 If you have your opponent trapped in the Aura Sphere charge, you can shield to cancel the charge, then immediately input jump, then upsmash. Jtails released a video about it if you're looking for a specific video about it. Happy to help!

Nice Lucario work. I'll still never get over how ridiculous Aura can be sometimes tho. The fact that Lucario can have a smash far stronger than even King Dedede's FSmash and it be much faster is just ridiculous.
Toooooooo be fair, if Lucario's smash attacks have enough aura on them that they out range D3 and have greater killing power... You kinda deserve to die a 40 xD

No I'm not saying I should be surviving. XD With it I should be dead, its just sometimes I feel the power Lucario gets with aura as well as rage is a bit ridiculous at times. Functionality wise with high aura its a bit insane how powerful Lucario becomes is all. I used D3 as a comparison cause his FSmash is the strongest in the game not counting custom Shulk or Lucario with aura, and its slow as molasses compared to other smashes in the game, even Ganon's Fsmash comes out faster. But Lucario's is still pretty fast and with the greater range thanks to aura its got great versatility and power, almost ridiculously so thats all I meant. It's just a bit crazy sometimes, though I've learned over my experience with Lucario to just work my way around it, though it isn't easy when you're dealing with a skilled Lucario. XD

What is your opinion on Lucario's D-Air? It seems like its not very viable for a spike move because he doesn't go down when he uses it, he just hovers.
+Solar Dile It's a really useful OoS option or a way to get out of being combo'd since it comes out frame 4.
As for "spiking" with it, Lucario's dair doesn't have a spike hitbox, unfortunately. But it's still useful for edge guarding your opponent as a dair offstage can either stage spike them if they don't tech or can even gimp if it sends them away from the ledge.
Also a run-off dair is useful for punishing ledge re-grabs

Although this is more of a showcase of good fundamentals more than anything, I'm still impressed by the gameplay. There's a relatively well respected Lucario main in my area (P2PwithGibus), so it would be cool to play the MU against you.

How do you do the B-cancel into up smash?! I've been trying to do that for weeks and I just can't get it!
+Shayne Brown Do you know how to up smash out of shield? There's a tutorial by AceStarThe3rd on how to do it if you wanna look. What you need to do is press shield, then immediately press jump and then input an up smash. From my experience, you can keep the shield and jump buttons pressed down as you perform the up smash, so you don't have to stress about the speed too much. Just focus on pressing shield and jump and you can clearly see the starting lag of the jump animation. That's when you input your up smash, and the jump gets cancelled.
Mind if I use this video for a Lucario favorite on an App?

+vegeta sj I think he has enough gimmicks to keep players happy, but the weirdest thing about Lucario is how how dair stops him mid air. I'm always caught off guard by it whenever I choose to play him out of boredom.
+vegeta sj Doesn't need to. You d-air where it counts- near the edge of the stage, so the hit will knock the opponent into a stage spike.
it dont cares me that he need one or not, i just love to spike opponents into death and it makes me sad that one of my favourite pokemons and smash charkters dont have a spike :/

/r/lucariomains is a good place to go for combos once you've used him after a while (one warning I have with lucario is that due to how unique his play style is, to get good at him you need to almost exclusively play him, and do so for a very long time, he's difficult to learn but once you master aura and grab combos, you're nearly unstoppable)
+Saitama - The One Punch Man As a Lucario player, I'd also suggest getting into the habit of playing other characters off and on. I play Samus, Ryu and Greninja and alternate a little bit just to mix things up, for a couple of reasons-
1. It helps pep up the game, playing as someone different.
2. It gives you a little more respect for timing and picking characters with particular qualities might help you pick up tips- playing Samus taught me to respect timing, spot-dodging and using f-tilt for spacing, as well as getting more accurate with D-air and B-air.
3. Half of playing Lucario is knowing how Lucario moves- the other half is knowing how the rest of the game's roster moves, and what to expect. Different characters will have different attack "vectors", so to speak- Little Mac is almost completely horizontal, Shulk and Ike use N-air for approaches, ZSSamus tends to jump and then pause while charging stun or trying to grab.
4. The best advice I can offer you, however- your current training regiment is not sufficient enough. Increase your workout- 200 squats, 200 pushups, 200 situps and 20 km of running per day, and eat a pomegranate instead of a banana every morning (pomegranates are the fruit of the _gods_).

+PSI Chrizy I'm not sure, but my guess is you cancel the charge with a jump, then cancel the jump with an up-smash. So, basically, while charging, hit jump, then up smash, in RAPID succession.
I'm not 100% sure that's how it's done, but that'd be my guess.

PSI Chrizy Jump-cancel upsmashes really aren't that hard. I did some research though, and you shield-cancel the charge, then jump to cancel the shield, then up-smash to cancel the jump. The good news, you can continue holding shield, to make it a little easier.

+Vicarious 14 To be fair, everyone looks like shit when they're getting bodied. If you could watch the full games instead of these highlights, the players are much better than you'd think and either had close games or would actually body me (I just didn't include it heh heh heh).
Just watch high level matches and replay the parts when they get combo'd or tech chased to death. Even they can appear to look like total scrubs at times

Is it a bad thing to complain about a character on its own combo video? Oh well, I really think that Lucario's aura is too powerful. He should be a combo floaty character a bit like luigi. I am a Jiggs main and I can't stand dieing at 20%, trust me. I never like characters who rely on a single move or gimic.
