Think of how amazing that is.. If we love Christ and keep His commandments, he will make his aboad with us.. he will make our lives a part of heaven like making a cabin in the woods.. Christ will make more of us than we could be on our own, and make our individual lives part of His Heavenly Home.

We think peace comes from an absence of conflict, war, or struggle. In reality the savior can give us peace regardless of what is happening around us.

There is no one like Jesus Christ. Every day, I read my scriptures and fast and pray once a week striving to qualify for that Supernal peace. When in troubled I turn to Him and Ge offers the peace that I need.
It feels as though I am hearing this talk for the first time even though I have listened and read it before.I am strengthened and comforted.

Great talk! I love the old school approach of using the scriptures to teach pure doctrine. I fear we are losing this powerful teaching approach today. So many of our talks today are just personal stories and experiences, mingled with scriptures, sometimes. I really felt the spirit during this talk.

Very greatful for the church of Jesus Christ they have always picked me up with it's members. I'm going into kidney failure and disability Im not reaady my wife is extremely ill also . Praying that I can get threw these days ahead.

We know comfort can come through prayer and by relying on Jesus Christ at this difficult time. I absolutely always feel the Spirit speaking through Elder Eyring's heart,every single time. What an amazing testimony on the Peace of God ruling our hearts! As we hold fast to the iron rod,with steadfast faith in Christ Jesus. As we minister share and invite soul's to come unto Christ and be ye transformed with faith and works, we can overcome this sin saturated world. As we abide in our Savior, peace will flood our hearts.

I could use some peace atm
6:21 I'm still waiting for this promise to be upheld. My only constant companion for the last three years has been twisting knot of fear in my stomach. It's taking all of my faith to ignore feeling of abandonment or malice, because I could not feel the comfort or guidance of the spirit when wracked by terror, anxiety, and depression. I'm better than I was, but it's been a four-year voyage alone through spiritual darkness, and I've accepted that my trial is to never feel joy or happiness for the foreseeable future.
I've been there for almost a decade of crippling anxiety and periods of depression. This year, I have felt some weight lifted (I can attribute some blessings to finally paying my tithing this year and continued help through a kind therapist). Don't lose hope. Just as I thought the intensity of anxiety and depression would always be there, it can be lifted and become a lighter load. Hugs!

I’m a new convert and learning can someone please tell me why he said “1000 years of peace” at the end? When the lord comes again what will happen after 1000 years of peace? I love him so much

"At the end of the 1,000 years, Satan will be set free for a short time. Some people will turn away from Heavenly Father. Satan will gather his armies, and Michael (Adam) will gather the hosts of heaven. In this great struggle, Satan and his followers will be cast out forever. The earth will be changed into a celestial kingdom."
-Gospel Principles chapter 45

I can talk to you about it if you want. See Revelations. Also, we will have been given many lost scriptures by then, so we will all know what happens, but basically AFTER the one thousand years...or at the very end of it, Satan will be "loosed for a little season". He will have one last time to influence mankind to see who would come with him (in his kingdom... outer darkness.) I can't possibly imagine anyone wanting that, but Satan will be Satan and deceive. Since during the thousand years many will be born into never being sick, or sin, that may be a REALLY challenging time for some. Afterall the only way we can know truly right and wrong and to decipher the good from the evil is to be put to the test, just like everyone else has had to do. No one gets away with at least a test.
The world will become a paradise, with no more death, no more wars, the animals will be peaceful to one another, and Jesus will reign personally on the earth. These 1000 years of peace will occur after Jesus comes again.
It’s called the millennium.

Key Word Finding Personal Peace, This is actually a Great and Powerful Message, I truly love this Speech too.
Id like to bear my testimony that i believe in an all knowing and ALL loving God. One without conditions one who CANNOT hold his love back from any of his children no matter what commandments or church they follow. I believe in a God who sees us all as worthy of love just exactly as we are he does not hold back peace or love from anyone just because they dont go to the LDS church. I believe in an UNCONDITIONALLY Loving God and i believe every human on earth has access to peace within themselves. Not through any church or ritual. Its not christ like at all to say people outside the church will never know true peace how pompus and entitled.

I'm happy that you believe that God loves all his children equally. He doesn't always love what choices we make though. God always stands with his hands outstretched in love, however he won't force us to lovingly obey his commandments, because that would violate our own free will. Like our earthly parents, and/ or loved ones, he has rules that we should follow in order for us to be able to truly love him and mankind (the 10 commandments, beatitudes sermon on the Mount, etc.) Without commandments, people would be less loving and more selfish.
Ever since Adam and Eve were on the earth Christ has organized his church on the earth. This is especially clear with Moses, when God told him to organize the 70 Elders to assist him so that Moses wouldn't be overly burdened with trying to help meet the needs of many hundreds of thousands of people. Christ's organized Church, with apostles and Prophets, both before and after his resurrection, are also good examples of how Christ himself wants us to have a true church on the earth.
Believing in organized religion is like believing in organized hospitals, or organized airports, with air traffic control, security, mechanics checking the safety of airplanes, etc.
Would you trust going to an unorganized hospital for treatment, or flying on an unmaintained airplane?
I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's authorized true organized Church on the earth. I also know that when we keep God's commandments, we are showing much more love for him, then when we choose not to. We should love him with all our souls, and are even commanded to love our enemies.
I hope this helps clarify some things.
Remember that God loves you very much, and wants you to come unto him. I also love you and hope that you choose to love him too.

Does this apply to people that have mental health problems people that keep begging God for help but feel nothing. This message would be awesome if it really applied to people with mental health issues. Or do they have mental health problems because they don't follow the Commandments. Does God hold these people accountable for sins they commit because they lost hope.
