- Quick video showing how to reattach the top rack spray arm on a Samsung dishwasher. My specific model is DW80K7050UG, but I'm sure it's probably similar on other models as well.

Thanks for your video. I fixed it but three or four cycles after, it falls again. Think there is a bad design from Samsung. A lot of complains about this arm. I'll try for a last time but the problem is more from ingeneering.

Awesome video! Fixed my dishwasher tonight and you saved me a ton of grief.
Thank you so much! After watching, I was able to fix the spray arm that came off on the middle rack of my Samsung dishwasher (looks the same as yours). The parts are a little different, but the concept is the same. You have to unscrew the holding mechanism from the arm holder, re-attach the two parts onto arm then screw everything back into place. I really appreciate that you posted this video.

Thanks for the video! I did do exactly like you said and it looked like it was fixed, but the darn thing kept popping off during the washing cycle. After a week, I ended up having to buy the whole new part. It appears that only the washer was bad. There is a little lip on it that makes the clicking sound and that appears to be worn out or defective. i don't know how it could be worn out as I had never taken it off before. This should be a Samsung warranty replacement part

Interestingly, Samsung Customer Service made a ticket for me to ship me the Top Rack Nozzle part. Then I get a text that the part is not eligible for Free of Charge and ticket was canceled. They wanted to make a service call (still under warranty). I then found this video and re-assembled it in about 45 seconds thanks to your channel. Service call canceled. I would suspect Samsung is getting a lot of calls about this part.
A little over a month ago, "that" showed up in the upper tray of the dishwasher! The washer-like item didn't show up right away but I sat and looked, turned, wondered exactly how 'that pair' 'could' hold onto the vertical pipe/tubing. I should realize by now that YT has just about everything you need for things like this. BUT I ordered the part, which was special order and only showed up yesterday. Dishes by hand (stacking until I really wanted to tackle them, you know the story?). So, I had seen where someone who purchased this part had also seen a video supplied by the distributor. I never did find it so, yeah, I came over to YT and quickly, with my DW model number found your video! "If only". Well, I'm running a sanitize program on the DW and will see if the pieces stay attached. I understand things won't work if it's not attached (being the whole mechanism is one long piece from the bottom sprayer to the top. I betcha I would have to pay S&H if I send it back? I'll wait a short while at least. I'm so glad you did this video! Thank you. (I have a water softener and line filter as well. Didn't really expect wear and tear ... maybe I bumped it with something a mite too tall for that basket?)

Does your top nozzle fall off often ? I put the top nozzle back and it works for one or two times and it will fall off again. I don't see anything cracked or broken.
I did have it fall off multiple times before I started arranging the pots/pans better to make sure the sprayer didn't clip them during the wash cycle.
@@GuidingBoltGaming it is a top spray arm so there are no pots there… just utensils

Thank you! Your instruction worked. Unfortunately it keeps coming off after doing a load. It seems to be secure each time I get it back on. Wondering if I'm doing something wrong. Any ideas?
You're not doing anything wrong. I would argue it's just not the best design. I had good luck with mine for the most part, but I did have to pop it back on a few times. I think the most important thing is to make sure it can rotate without hitting pots/pans and jarring it off.
@@GuidingBoltGaming Thanks. I had Best Buy come out and they replaced the entire mechanism. Seems to be working fine now. Fortunately, I just had to pay for the part.
Great video, clear instructions, impressive solo video work! Unfortunately my snap ring doesn't snap anymore, so off to try a new one. Will report back if there is an improved part.
Mine keeps falling off. This was a year ago - did you find a solution for a replacement O-ring, washer, etc?

Mine doesn’t snap either, it’s like two flat pieces. Did a new part fix your issue?

@@TheMattward1 that really long part that curves and attaches to the top and back? That’s what I was thinking was broke. Was it easy to install? I haven’t found a video on how to assemble that.

Excellent video! Do you have the part number for the spray arm? I am having a difficult time finding a replacement part because even though I reattached the arm, it keeps falling off after 1 or 2 washes. Model: DW80R9950US
Same for us, we just keep reattaching-what a pain!
. @lynettelasher88 We ended up buying an entire assembly that runs on the side wall of the dishwasher and attaches the spray arm on top. It's been working for the past 3 months. Although, I have removed the third (top) tray to ensure the spray arm is not hitting anything on that tray. So far so good!
Today my husband superglued the spray arm to where it snaps on!!

Thank you for this video! However, mine keeps falling off. Almost with every cycle. Bummer. I like this dishwasher and it cleans really well. This is definitely a faulty design. Also, my middle rack water spinner does the same thing. Falls off.

This is great but the stupid thing keeps falling off. Super frustrating that since it fell off the first time it just keeps happening almost every single time the dishwasher is used. Is there a permanent fix?

I was just about to order a new upper sprayer and I came upon your video. 45 seconds later, the spray arm was attached! That was three days ago….and the arm have fallen off after every washing. Ugh. It snaps in like you suggested and spins around freely but it just doesn’t stay on when running a cycle. Maybe the water pressure is too great? Any ideas are appreciated Thanks

I used your video - very helpful by the way - to fix mine the first time. But it’s happened again? Do you think it’s possible the Samsung Nozzle Holder needs replaced? It feels like it’s supposed to have a lip for the washer to affix, and I’m wondering if that lip wears down over time?
Yeah, the whole assembly may need to be replaced at some point. I limped mine along for quite a while just reattaching the piece. Sometimes it would last for months, other times it would fall off a couple times a week.

This happens to me nearly every time we run the dishwasher. Any idea how to get it to stay on?
Just an idea. We were putting things in the top rack that interfered with the rotating sprayer, things that were too tall for the narrow space like spatulas and some of our spoons. Hope you’re able to fix yours!

Be warned. It will fall off again. Happens when using storm wash mostly.
It would be helpful to show exactly how the two pieces go on. There are 4 teeth that are on the washer piece. Do those go against the ring or away?
Any advice if, each time I run a load, the sprayer keeps coming loose?

I did this repair a year ago. Everything was fine . A few days ago The sprayer fell again. I put it back on. But I don’t understand why it fell after every wash. Is it possible a piece as to be change?

This has fallen for me as well, but it seems every time I snap it back, and confirm its secure I will run the washer and the arm will fall off again..
Try to make sure you're positioning the top rack items so the sprayer arm doesn't hit them while spinning. Mine has been good about not coming off again unless I put larger items on top, or ones that jostle around when the lower sprayer hits them.
This has been happening to us too :/ Every single time... I don't think anything is hitting it, but I'll be sure to double check every time now.

Samsung appliances are the worse. Warning don't buy, there is a fb page dedicated to helping get refunds for their trash refrigerator.
That being said, you did a great job on this video. I wish it solved my problem with the middle rack wash bar that basically fell off one day like yours does. I haven't been able to find any video on how to fix mine.
Yeah, I wasn't happy with this machine. I ended up having to replace it because multiple seals inside came apart and it started leaking out the bottom. After the second time of that I just got rid of the thing.
@@GuidingBoltGaming your video did help me though because after watching your video I was finally able to get the top rack out and pop the middle wash part back in place. I had to try because I wasn't about to pay almost $100 for a part.

We’re so frustrated and just keep attaching the falling arm…
ive been doing this for a while.... its like you never know when you open your dishwasher to put away your dishes if this little friend is going to be laying in the top rack. Fixing it is fine, it literally takes 10 seconds. But, is there anyway to stop it from happening? Why is it happening? If anyone knows- please enlighten me :)

Mine had the same problem but it keeps falling off. The washer is worn off. So I glued the ring on it.

Mine fell off after every wash after it fell off the first time. Have been using an o-ring for the past couple weeks without issue. Size of o-ring is 113. Any auto parts should have one. Just wash it before use.
