I thought you were crazy the way you were painting the sunflower but it turned out beautiful!!!
The blue birds of happiness were made in a small town near me here in Northwest Arkansas for practically my whole life at a place called Terra Studios. I went on many school field trips to watch them make these. They have retired making them due to the impact glass blowing does to the environment. The sad end to a local tradition. Okay there was your history lesson for the day! LOL Love your videos!

The way you remade the glass washboard with chippy paint and stencil is just perfect! Yep, new colors and techniques indeed!
Can you put vaseline on the marble to keep the paint from sticking and then spray it? And I sure wish I could find that washboard!!!

Now that I found you I’ve been binge watching you. It’s incredible what you do. It would be helpful to know what your stuff actually sells for. I’ve always wanted to do what you do but I always thought I couldn’t make a go of it. Seems like just when I’m thinking “OMG no no no you’ve gone too far” 30 seconds later I’m like ‘oh it’s so beautiful.” Keep up the good work!

That looks like Temptations. They are seen alot on QVC. They have serving, baking and even dishes that all have that design in different colors. That color looks like what they call "spice."
Oh my, I had to rewind to see that detail! Yes, they are 😊 I've not seen any like that.

Question, why do you prefer minwax polyacrylic Spray over the Rustoleum or Krylon clear coat sprays??
I trust that polycryclic will not crinkle or crackle.. which I've had the other two do on me. Which causes more work

Yvonne I loved the glass washboard project. I love washboards. I was glad to see some of the green paint on the glass. It tells the next owner the original color.
You did a really great job on the sunflower. It looks beautiful. I also love the grove crate. So pretty. The plastic box with the drawers and numbers might have been something for different size screws or nuts and bolts. I don’t know what else it would be used for. Thanks Yvonne

Fun haul, Yvonne! Fish: could be a yarn dispenser. Measuring cups have measuring spoons on the handles! Use vaseline on the marble before you spray the metal hanger (I LEARNED THAT FROM YOU). Grow box: here in CA it would make a nice home for black widow spiders. Love the feet on the lanterns! Water can: reminds me of the oil can in the Wizard of Oz. Love Glen! He's beautiful, but I thought you only did gingers. Happily surprised! Sunflower crock is gorgeous!

Hi Yvonne ~ love that chunky Finial ! I think the amount of crackle was just right and then your sanding. You got the touch for making things looks so wonderful! Then those Praying Hands…how beautiful in that color. That Grow Wood Box is so pretty with those patinas!
You work so much with the Patinas that you have mastered the technique for “ just right”….I’m still scared of them! LOL!!!!
You can show Chris’ s tools …. I love seeing them. It always makes me think of my Dad, especially the older wood ones ! I agree with you about displaying them…but it is HIS collection .

The measuring cups are from Temtations. They are beautiful! They all kinds of different prints. (The orange and brown with flowers i think on them) love then.

The measuring scoops are from the collection on QVC… and the bowls.. I mentioned it previously and my mind just went blank 🙄 it’s a QVC collection .. dang my brain!! Ugh 😩 I buy these too!! Oh well I will continue thinking…

Omg!! I collect hands! Lol I collect all things weird. But I have a few praying hands. I'm definitely gonna paint a couple I think. And I want to try the clay molds too. I am patiently waiting for my patina and rub and buffs to get here and ill play with them first then maybe get some clay. I get too many things started.... haha. Anyway....everything turned out beautiful!!!😊

Hi there, I am a Christian too, and I restore old stuff and make signs for hobby . Do renos and small paint jobs etc for pt time work . I am going to be putting scriptures on signs and on mirrors , windows, etc . Some proverbs are excellent too! And some precious saying by Christians old and current . See if I can send you a sample picture?
Hi Yvonne...I love that old well pump..I was given a taller one from my friend's father's farm...I have moved it so many times..heavy but never could leave it behind..last spring I did run tubing through it and I used an old barrel..some enamelware..an old drinking ladel and a pump...it is wonderful to hear the water and the birds love it..I troughed it with the enamelware basins so the birds can bathe ...oh yes..my labs sneak a drink too..lol..sorry this is so long but I had to share .take care
The Bluebirds are from Leo Ward at Terra Studios in Northwest Arkansas. My best friend took me there on one of my visits. Beautiful place to visit and I got to see them being hand blown. They also make the Pink bird of Hope.
Dad had a hard plastic bin like yours but unnumbered. He used it for small hardware like various types/sizes of screws.
I made a lazy Susan with 2 Dollar Tree cake pans and marbles with a piece of scrap wood for the top. Not pretty but it works until I find a real one

The 3 drawer thingy, you pulled out one of the drawers that looked like cubes. You could use that drawer for earrings . Could also be used for crafts.

You could use pump or spray bottles and glass jars with your black transfers to display with the washboards in a basket or tray. Fun laundry wood display. 🤩🤩🤩🤩

Which Krud Kutter do you use? There are all kinds on Amazon. I am trying to watch all your video's. They are wonderful!
It appeared to me that you were not putting enough glue on. If you look back on your video you will see how sparce it looked...still looks good though. Also if you put your molds in the freezer for a few mins 15, it just pops out great.
The scoops, measuring cups & spoons are a Temptations pattern. Since they only said Made in China on the bottom they could have either been part of a set or the ever pervasive fraudulent Asian knockoff.

Your measuring cups appear to be Temptations. QVC sells Temptations in several different patterns, the resale prices are usually very good.

The black box with drawers I believe is used for gems stones, beads for jewelers or findings, it also could be used for small electrical parts for sodering on to circuit boards, or anything ones heart desires to collect and keep sorted like stamps or buttons, the list could go on, but it's some sort of sorting box, it may of came with items in it when it was originally bought hence the numbers!

Everything turned out so beautiful but the sunflower crock was amazing. It was fun to watch that evolve, there was a point toward the beginning when I was wondering how that was possibly going to look good 😂 but it took a turn for the better and in the end looked great. The box with the multi-separate squares is a storage box for slides. The little "watering can" is an oil can for Olive oil.
Just FYI!
Quilters are now using those irons to press their seams. I believe they iron with a regular iron and put the cast iron on the warm seam for a Christ seam. I have quilting friends who I thrift with.

I used the varathane wax to seal a wooden shelf I painted and it turned yellow in spots. I’m wondering what it was. Do you think maybe I didn’t rub it in enough?
