Ben theres a new part that Enfield have swapped out for the new himi, the hydro mechanical tensioner. Its what was causing the clutter or ungainly sounds from the new himi engine that everyone was complaining about.
15minutes on traffic the engine radiator fan open and throw heats a lot, its already winter 18-15*C but heats a lot, does this coolant works well, its seems so much effort and patience to install it???
I feel coolant from reputed manufacturer like wurth or Castrol etc mixed in proper ratio is better . Even better to buy oem premix coolant from say Honda ( car ) or Toyota. These are reliable high quality long life coolants . Dont think the Himalayan engine is as stressed as a proper dirt bike or snow mobil to warrant a speciality coolant.
Hi ben, If you dont mind, i would like to ask an out of context question... I own himi 411 and I loved if so much that I don't want to replace it with new himi. But the only problem in face repeatedly is #puncture. Since you own the both new and old himi, please let me know if it is possible to install new himi tubeless wheel setup in old himi. Thank you very much in advance
1.4 bar radiator cap has been the de facto standard for KTM Dukes (across the board) since they've been launched right from 2012, so this is nothing new to the cooling world. It's probably first for RE.
I am sorry , I did have a ktm 390 for sometime but gave it away soon . Never changed the coolant . Didn’t bother to note the caps pressure . Thanks for letting me know .
@sasmit82 no way, OEM is built to a cost. Specialist products like engine ice are made to perform at the most efficient manner and a price put on it. Oem units are built keeping overall costs and overheads in mind. Forget all of that, look at what engine ice does. It's organic too if I'm not wrong and isn't glycol based from what I remember reading about it. They cost a bomb compared to what OEM uses however. It's up to you use what you deem fit. But do make informed calls.

I’m feeling like an mechanical engineer after watching it and want to try the same
I am curious, where do you get the torque values from?? Do they tell in service centre if we ask or is there any documents that one can refer
How's the engine performing on traffic now, after changing the coolant please review!
Better than stock 100%

Hello sir, is it possible to flush the coolant without removing the tank?
I have mentioned about it in the video .
I have the engine ice and feel the stock coolant worked better.
🤣🤣🤣
Aree Bhai prank ho gya lagta hai😂😂
Why?! Does the bike heat up more after the engine ice swap?!
Oem is always better if not then get reputed ones like wurth or Castrol and mix with distilled water.

Did you notice any engine noise on your 450? The engine on my bike sounds like a tractor!
Mine started to sound like one since yesterday
@@akshaykamath970 Oh man ! What did you, Any solution ?

There is how the engine sounds on my bike.
I don't think RE mechanics will take that much effort to change the coolant. They will simply say either no need to change or fillup the collant tank.
Coolant need not be changed before 30000 kms in most machines .
