A difficult song and tempo to get right, but yes, Witney aces it - power strength, large vocal range, timing and hitting all those notes beautifully. Miss you Witney, a lot 😢😢😢

But hey - have you EVER heard a song where Whitney would not be herself despite the style? Listen to "It's Not Right But It's Okay" for instance. Such a modern and innovative style then and what did she do? She simply delivered a great kraft in singing and performing whatever the synths sounded like. And you know what? It WORKED! That's why she deserves titles like Queen, Legend, etc.

Working in Belgium at a petrochemical center near Mons.i remember . december 1990 . one night in Bruxelles driving an Opel VEctra with this song in FM radio stereo. 34 years ago it seems just tonight for me. Only the music can do it.
She could do riffs,runs,vibrato,airy voice. On top of it,she was known for her crystal clear tone and powerhouse vocal(which she could activate so effortlessly).

I remember February 12th 2012. My son was born that day. Later in the evening I got the news about Whitney Houston had died the day before, so it was both a sad and happy day for me. A emotional weekend. But the sad feeling from her loss never went away. But every time I hear her sing and I watch her videos I feel she's alive again. I think she's still alive somewhere, singing in Heaven. she was the greatest! And still is!

She is the soundtrack of my life - the total package, beauty and brains and the most God given angelic voice of the century still to this day. What do you do when You've lost your muse.
