I think you broke your transmission dipstick it’s small and yellow. My dipstick also broke on me one time. You’ll have to buy a new one at the Ford dealer.

How many miles did it have when you changed out transmission fluid? I have 90k miles on my 06 and read in the owner's manual it needs to be changed at 100k miles

I have the same year and owners manual says at 100k miles and I'm at 102k. That's why I'm here lol

Will this help with the whining sound like when the power steering gets low ??? I have the sound in my expedition.

Check your fluid level first. Whining may be the transmission pump.
