Yes the Tifers always came to Kingsmead with a competitive team and racing was always very close.....Cheers Barry

Hi Jackson........well I bet you were surprised to come across this action at Canterbury back in '87' when you were riding for the 'Tigers'. Spent many years at Canterbury enjoying the Speedway on a Saturday Night........Its nice to be able to upload some older footage and a bonus that you have been able to watch yourself in action.........Cheers Barry

Hi Gracie, no they stayed well away from the kerbs!.....they re profiled the track to accommodate the dog track on the inside........track was never that great after that.....still have great memories of the crusaders at Kingsmead though..........Regards Barry

i'm in red 22.09 .. hated the track that year, horrible shape and horrible kerbs

Hi Steve........yes I think everyone remarked about the Kingsmead track after it was changed to accomodated the greyhound track. It was such a good racing track for many years and there was some great racing there.Nobody liked the new shape and those kerbs were definately to keep away from........it was a great shame when racing finished at Kingsmead........Good ride in Red though!.......cheers Barry
