He really was. He had a really good 3 years in Buffalo and then he had a good year with the Titans a few years later. This first 3 years though he had 27 TD’s on 3,523 Yards on the ground.
Gumbel is good was the number one play by play til Nantz decided to do play by play. Gumbel I believe now is third on depth chart of play by play behind Nantz and Eagle.

We stayed to the end. Glad I did. I remember Jim Kelly was on the sidelines during the 4th quarter trying to pump up the crowd.
This game was so freaking wholesome and exemplified this Bill's team came back from double digits in the snow and Price going hug Kelly after that long tuddy gave me chills. Favorite game of all time

A couple years back, Belechick called for 3 total running plays in a nasty weather game in Buffalo, they controlled the game on the ground and won. Miami should have never thrown a pass in this game, especially with Lucas at QB. Miami had such a dominant OL in '02 with Ricky. In this game, if Buffalo played a traditional 4-3 Miami would get a consistent 4-5 yards on every run. If Buffalo stacked the line, Ricky and Minor would break consistent long runs if they got thru that line. Miami should've won this game easily, but they got cute. Getting cute was how they lost a late lead in New England in the season finale, too. Such a frustrating waste of talent that season. A truly dominant run game with a caretaker QB and good WR/TE talent. A shame...
Thanks now I remembered why I disliked Fielder back then lol. So much for Marino's hand-picked replacement lmao. I feel like Fielder getting on our team was an omen for bad qbs for the fins.
