Hey, this was my fav video so far I think, it was great. I'm a bit scared of eggs too but have challenged egg mayo and I would never have thought to eat a frittata until I saw how you did it!! It was awesome and so flexible like yo can switch the ingredients or accompaniment, I'm gonna pick a day and make that 🙂The porridge and yoghurt bowls you inspire me with, and that granola and choices you make. I have started upping my apple game by add 2 coconut ring biscuit and they are really shortbready and nice, but yeah nut butter is a good one to challenge. you always encourage me and I want to say you are doing fantastic too, even ifwe try somethins and dont like it, or get thoughts saying it was a stupid thing to have, we are still hungry again soon, oh! and that pink jumper is cool. XX
Thankyou so much!! Proud of you for challenging it, for sure it’s so tasty and so veririle you can add all kinds of veg that you prefer ☺️ going to try it today again and I’ve brought some feta to crumble on the top 🤩 thankyou so much! Breakfast is always my favourite meal of the day, coconut biscuits sound so nice where did you get them from? Thank you so much again :)) xx
girl try butter for the fritatta!!! AND MORE oil in the pesto. it is supposed to have oil. like LOTS. Do more next time hehe and adding like sausage or chicken or bacon etc. AND switch to full fat yogurt! 0% won't help you. xx You need, we need, the fats. All of us! Regular granola too (not sugar free). Well done :)
Your doing great Demi but why are you using fat free Greek yogurt instead of full fat if you’re all in and trying to gain weight the 5% fage is so much nicer I used to have 0% Fage in recovery and realised that I was not honering my true e
I haven’t tried the 5% one but will have to see if I can find it, I think it could be a good swap but I do like the 0% only because it has more calcium and protein I switched my milk to semi skimmed from skimmed so that was a start but will look into this too :)
@@Demiproudmanso something I did too with yogurt… was positive I liked the 0% best….. refused to try different…. Until I did! Let me tell you, we are lying to ourselves when we say we prefer the 0%…. We are 100% lying!!
I thought the same thing... In recovery you must be doing everything you can to gain the weight. If you can't say that you are TRULY doing everything you can, then it is time to rethink your ways. Because real recovery is using full fat yogurt, adding extra drizzles of oil (not spray), having butter on your bread and in your oatmeal (made with cream and milk) and in your veggies. It is purposely buying and seeking out high calorie bars and cereals and other snacks. Tubs of ice cream (REAL ice cream), full sized chocolate bars, multiple snacks throughout the day (3 is minimum!!! And an apple and a bit of nut butter is not a snack). Drinking milk and juices with meals. Doubling up on servings. IT really is doing EVERYTHING to gain weight. And while some say it is hard to gain weight, there are EASY ways (using cream in your oatmeal, adding more oil, making shakes with ice cream and ensure and milk and nut butters, having clif bars, chocolate bars, cookies and milk, using butter on everything. 2 sandwiches instead of 1 and use butter and mayo and double the meat and cheese. All these little things help! And are also just normal things to do. Clif bars are so good! and not only for recovery. Butter too. It is just NORMAL to butter your sandwich and then add peanut butter and jam. Simple. )
@@Demiproudman recovery is not about doing what you want. It is about doing what is NEEDED. You will have to eat things you don't like. It is medicine and not all medicine tastes good. Too bad lol. It's harsh but it is the truth. We have to do it regardless of our likes and wants. It is a medical diet. View it like that. IT is not 'fun' like people make it out to be. It is not doing everything you want and eating fun and pretty meals and light snacks of apples and a bit of nut butter. That is not a recovery snack (and even then people not in recovery have more! Trust me. ) your body needs lots of food. And specific foods. 0% yogurt won't cut it. If you are going to have yogurt get the full fat. If you are drinking milk, get whole milk. Just do it. That's all. Or else you are just dragging recovery on. No point doing that! Time goes by either way and it is up to us what we do with it. And I say go for it. Just do ALL the things. Put likes and wants aside. This is a full time job. Recovery from anything isn't fun. But the outcome is worth it. And even then you can continue to eat all these foods!!! Whole milk is NORMAL. So is full fat yogurt. The 0% doesn't offer any nutrition. It is STRIPPED from nutrition. The point of food IS to have calories and fat. Low calorie means low energy. Who wants low energy?????? MAke the changes Demi. You must xxx

Instead of frittata next time, you should try quiche! Some toast would be a good idea with frittata and quiche for some brain food (carbs)!!
Next time I could try this!
