Thanks, man. I currently have to fix 2 of these monstrosities. The disassembly part has been a big help (also, nice cinematic shots. And the detailed closeups of each action - very helpful, and artfully so :))
Great video, thanks! One tip I can add. At 18:56, I could not get the tube back in at all, not even close. It turns out that at 17:32 I had inserted the clear plastic sleeve the opposite way that it had been originally assembled. Since the "other end" never had the tube inserted, it was fresh and too tight. I removed and reversed the clear plastic sleeve, so the "used" end was facing outward.
I am IMPRESSED! I am suffering with a air lock on my lattissima pro. Working off of your video. Fixed my own Apple lap tops in the past. I am hopeful I can fix this. The coffee at the end was so gratifying!
Thanks so much for posting this video. You helped me a great deal fixing the coffee machine. Ordered a new brewing part and it works like a charm again!
I’m glad to see that this machine was refurbished to a usable and clean state😊 I think it’s sad to see that some people do this to their machines without caring about them. Do you mind telling me more about how you got this machine and how it ended up that dirty?
I go to a local recycling center every week to dispose of plastic packaging, bottles and other items in an environmentally friendly way. There is a container where you can dispose of e-waste. Sometimes you can find treasures like the machine in my video ;-) This DeLonghi device was calcified and clogged, which is why it stopped working.
Sehr gut ....
Very useful video, quite self-explained, good job. Badly I've been suffering with a leak on my Latissima. Right on the top at the joint where it's inserted the capsule. I've already dismounted and cleaned, but the problem persists, could be necessary to replace the entire compartment?
Hi, I disassembled and cleaned the Lattissima perfectly. Now when I put the pod in it doesn't drip anymore. But if I run the water without any pod inside, after a few seconds it leaks water into the tray. I tried everything but nothing. Is it normal for it to do this? Do you have an idea about it? I have some videos if you want
Hi, these machines don't have a valve to prevent water from dripping. You can also send me a short video or a link to yt.myworks@hotmail.com and I'll take a look at it.
Excellent video. Pity that after you complete the refurbishment, you didn't show us how you start up the machine and whether you encounter air lock issue, if so how you overcome that?
I didn't think about that, but as far as I can remember there were no problems with the water flow. Sometimes the water pump makes a loud noise when it runs without water at the beginning. But if there is no water after a short time, then there is another problem.
Remember if the gasket was the same on both sides? Let me explain! Since it leaks water from above when I put a capsule under pressure, I wondered if the shape of the gasket was correct and not to be changed. Is it round on both data like a classic gasket?
I don't know that exactly, but didn't have a seal, a special shape? Did you use original Nescafé capsules? Some have a different shape than the original capsules.
Wondering if it's possible to get some guidance. I have this same machine - lovingly used and cared for. We live in a very soft water area, never have problems with limescale. I came to use the machine today as I do most days and managed to make one perfect coffee from start up. I moved on to the second and without any weird noises or drama, you know how you have the kind of 'pulsing' pumping of the milk, well the machine managed about three slightly sputtering pumps of milk which came out foamed and then all the remaining pumps come out as sporadic spurts of water with an odd burst of steam, but the coffee glass, at the end of a full 'latte' cycle has literally a couple of inches of hot white water at most before the coffee dispenses into it. I've tried the routine several times. I've tried the steam cleaning routing several times and it works as expected. But then go back to make hot foam milk and I get the same again - three faltering pumps of white foamy niceness which then gets replaced with occasional random spurts of hot water and steam as the foamed milk cycle runs its course to ultimate failure. I searched this video out on RUclips because I knew my starting place would be to remove the milk hopper and get that cap mechanism open and make sure all pipes and parts are clean, and the thing was virtually squeaky clean in all its parts and after re-assembly I'm still at the same stage. So I'm guessing there's a pump problem? Is that a pump failure or sound like a blockage somewhere? Where specifically should I be looking and can anyone direct me to any parts that I might need. Repairing this sounds a whole lot more viable than spending £350 buying another, especially when it's seemingly in great condition and such a nicely built and robust piece of kit that can be easily disassembled and repaired... Would really appreciate some direction, please.
Hello, if the milk froth does not work, then it is usually due to the container coupling 07:43. You should disassemble them and clean them with a milk system cleaner. Alternatively, you can buy the part new. In addition, I recommend descaling the machine regularly, as soft water also contains the limescale.
@@yt.myworks Thanks for that. It was the descaling it needed! Job done. Also stripped the squeaky clean milk hopper head and gave it a soak and scrub for good measure. Job done!
Great job! Do you know how to fix the milk frothing on one of these machines. Ours is about 6 years old and the milk buttons just flash when connecting the milk container!?
Hello, unfortunately I can't say that but it could have something to do with the temperature. Maybe a reset can help, you can probably find on the internet how to do it.
Hello, I thought of something else. If the milk froth does not work, then it is usually due to the container coupling 07:43. You should disassemble them and clean them with a milk system cleaner. Alternatively, you can buy a new part.
I recommend keeping the machine as clean as possible, regularly rinsing it without a coffee capsule, descaling it frequently and generally keeping the device clean. You can also try using a small brush to remove the coffee residue from the top.
15:36 At this point for me the horror would begin ! Disassembling is easy enough, but in the end assembling everything together, is a whole other thing !
7;00 ruclips.net/video/OJWguSgyf4c/видео.html

One of the best videos I've ever watched on RUclips. The previous owner of this machine should be banned from ever owning a DeLonghi machine again.

As a rule, it is sufficient to change all relevant seals. All the others are very robust and last a very long time.

Mine was flat at the bottom and round on top. Replacement was only round. Still leaks 😢
Reassembled everything but I cannot get the power to pop back into the the circuit board no matter what I do. Any suggestions?

Disassembly always works in the end... When the rage kicks into high gear, and you tend to go for "instant disassembly"..

you use new o-ring in brew group or old?
