People always comment on her videos now that her accent cant be real, but it's clearly here already. She's just... smoked a lot through the years and is a whole lot more healthy and happy now, which brings out her accent more. Love her.
The best move Conan ever made was owning his own catalog. I absolutely LOVE this stuff. First host to make his craft an actual art. So old, yet so young looking! 😂
@@brianpalay2 LOL um yeah I know it's an old throwback clip. Anyway I'm talking more about her personality than her attire. She's like an old movie producer from the '30s. Was and still is.
Having someone talking about Meg Ryan really dates the video, huh? Lyonne's voice is like wine. Her voice was cool, but normal back then. I'm fascinated by how she sounds now.
Unless you’ve seen it already, you should check out the movie "But I’m a Cheerleader” with Natasha, Ru Paul (not in drag), Clea DuVall, Melanie Lynskey, Michelle Williams, and even July Delpy
I like how team coco uploaded her old interview before uploading their latest with her. I read it in one of the comments, she truly is the female jeff goldblum. Her and goldblum seems like 2 of only a few celebrities who really doesn't seem to care what people think of them. I mean there are many celebrities who's said things that they know may be somewhat controversial but they say it anyway. The difference is most of them knew how it might be received by the the audience and did it anyway. Her and goldblum doesn't seem to be aware of it, they just say it. They don't seem like they are very self conscious. When you watch their interviews it almost feels more like they are just very interesting people than a celebrity.
Reminds me a bit of how Aubrey Plaza carries herself in her performances. Take your pick for which is better, but how comfortable both of them are to be weird is similar to me.
Just in general the late night sets back then were just much more pleasing, in my opinion. they looked like actual lounges or gave off a night-vibe more than the sets of today do, except for maybe Corden's. I always loved Carson's sets the most, that look just defined what I think about how a late night show should look like visually
@zephyra and I know its not nostalgia I know I felt like this back when the set was like this. it felt warm, cosy u know. now everything is big, and clean
To think, this beautiful, well spoken, talented, and young lady was doing hard drugs then. And worse, almost died 3 years later. She really is a testament to people can change.
@@Fartucus It's almost half a century old. And the reference isn't the movie, it's the fact that they actually used pea soup on set that isn't common knowledge. Way to be pretentious.
Watch her interviews with Conan over time in the last 2 she somehow developed the accent of an old Jewish woman from New York city. In the last one it seemed extreme like she was putting it on and the one before that its a little less noticeable
To be fair, she is older now. And you can hear the accent there, but she's been in the media since she was so young, she was probably coached to talk with a more General American accent which she's starting to lose 🤷♀️
No she said to him "you might not think so [but] we live in new york" as in they just live in a city located in a large country and therefore people are different in other areas...
I got the exact opposite from her. She behaves the same, she says the same neurotic stuff about not liking people etc. Unless of course you mean just the looks, because yeah, she's a bit younger.
@@ASJC27 nah Seth's is worse. I like Seth's interviews but he forces laughter way too much. Fallon just puts people in such silly situations that laughter is a pretty normal response. Conan's laughter always seems pretty genuine to me.
She's so genuine and humble. Not a trace of pretention or egotism. Very rare for someone in showbiz.
She's still like that nowadays, her personality hasn't appeared to change!
I wish she was in more films. She's amazing
@Adam Smith she’s been in over 40 films. She’s quite prolific for an actor under 40.

She does not

I did not know she was famous in 2001. I thought she was a new actress on OITNB
That lady is the bestest.
She is so New York, they should name a bagel after her...or a cuss word.
The best move Conan ever made was owning his own catalog. I absolutely LOVE this stuff. First host to make his craft an actual art. So old, yet so young looking! 😂
Doesn't like breathing with others
Everyone: *breathes*
Natasha: AAÀAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
She's something else, I love her cool retro vibe
Would you say her vibe throws it back to, say, 2001?

lol, she called it a picture and she's like 22, conan just called her our for sounding old in an interview from a few days ago
And in the same interview she was also talking about having her phone stolen on the beach! 18 years later and it's still on her mind apparently!
Wow it’s weird hearing them talk about cell phones now.
that same conversation could of happened this year...
why is it weird , i dont even own a cell phone. i have email and a i pad
@@Pinkielover because the cell phones back then are different to now.
is her hotness underrated? Not by me.
she’s really tiny and adorable ❤️ i love her
give her 20 years or so and she is gonna star in fantastic tv show. she has got a great future ahead of her.
hahaha well she has 2 seasons on russian doll now
It's okay, she's alive
First thing I checked, just seemed like a bit of an odd upload.
Skyturnedred she’s on the show tonight. I’m guessing that’s why this interview was uploaded.
people were so much nicer and genuine in the past
i like how quiet she is here compared to now
She’s so beautiful
I love how quiet the audience is. A current audience would be screaming the whole time.
Weird to think 9/11 was so fresh at this moment.
And he made that Taliban joke, what a beast.
Here in line waiting to go in to the Conan show just got cavity searched
Do you remember where you were when you found out Natasha Lyonne was straight?
she is not. she has been dating a woman for years

It's unreal that i would be one year old in this video but i still have a crush on 40 yo natasha lyonne.
oh man she is amazing...very quick on her feet and fun.
I love her!!!!
So she was always hilarious
Still calls them pictures!
Boy, I've had a crush on this lady since American Pie, probably even before that.

I thought that was Andy next to her the whole time until they zoomed out
Kari Davis Andy LOVES the enema
i think that's former comedic writer and senator al fraken
karl tee yeah I realized that when they zoomed out to his face, not when I could just see a knee or shoulder in a suit jacket

She really foxed up from Orange is the New Black. She's a doll.

No, that would be the first guest.
Al Franken.
