Naomi Carmen honestly it depends on the song. Their line distribution is much better than it once was overall but it's still not that great I mean if you compare Sunggyu's lines to Sungyeol's.... Quite a sheer difference. Bad is rather well balanced and I'm not really complaining because Sunggyu is the main vocal and composers will give the better vocals more lines, it's normal. However the overall distribution of Infinite's lines remains rather in-equal overall.

The simple solution for that was that he could leave some solos for another member, like this part 1:36? and he could continue with the chorus and the parts that require high notes..., although even some of those could be done by the other members who can also make high notes.

Honestly, if some of the lines with low notes went to the 2 or 3 members with the lowest lines, then the first one wouldn't have 40 sec, but would maybe go down to 30 something, and the last two would go up from 10 sec to maybe 15 sec each. And then there would be a more equitable line distribution. They're only 7 members, not more than 10 members like in other groups where it is understandable that some sing for less than 10 seconds.

All the other members had their solo activities as well as subunit activities except for Woohyun. He was never sent to varieties nor given any solo nor was in any subunit. I'm not surprised that he was so depressed in the past. I cried so much when he had that mental breakdown on stage. I absolutely love all the members of Infinite but my bias is Woohyun and I think he deserves so much more love and recognition. Both Woohyun and Sunggyu are such talented and capable singer but why is Woohyun so mistreated ? it's just really sad..
Woohyun isn't mistreated. He got ToHeart and was sent to varieties just like the other members (like a lot of Immortal Songs 2 episodes where his voice was praised so much). I think he wasn't sent to a lot of varieties in the past because he wasn't good at speaking/being funny like you need to be in those shows. He even acted in dramas. The members that have had the least schedules have always been Sungyeol, Dongwoo, and maybe Sungjong in recent years. But Infinite are always WAY more busy than other groups as a whole. Although Woohyun's solo album was really late, more than half of the wait was because he was composing and writing his own songs. Woollim didn't treat him badly, but I think Woohyun is the type that gets discouraged and needs a lot of love. This year, he is one of the busiest members and has been on so many shows and even went oversees to perform so I don't think you have to worry anymore. And Woollim isn't the one that made the song, the producer is. Bad didn't really suit his voice and I think his amazing high notes made up for Sunggyu having more lines.

Why people are always judging and complaining about how many lines they got? I believe they divide the lines by the genre of the members' voice whether it suits the song or not. Sunggyu's voice just suits strong EDM songs more. And Woohyun's voice is more suited to ballads and other genres. And Woollim isn't the one that made the song, the producer is. Sunggyu got a lot of lines in Bad, but he and Woohyun are usually equal in other songs. Tbh, so many other groups have way worse line distribution than this.

Why people are always judging and complaining about how many lines they got? It's not because woollim biased sunggyu so they give him more lines than woohyun, or they abandon sungyeol and sungjong then they give them the least line. I believe they divide the lines by the genre of the members' voice whether it suits the song or not. Obviously, sunggyu's voice fits song like EDM, rock, dance music,... while Woohyun's type is ballad. INFINITE music type is dance music, which fits sunggyu's type perfectly. That's why he gets the most lines most of the time. And if u have ever heard I7 b-sides, u find out that woohyun sings more than sunggyu does...
So no need to argue here. When i was reading some comts here, i saw so many people talk about how woollim biased sunggyu coz sunggyu always gets the longest lines ... i find it so ridiculous and funny. How can they divide the line depends on biasing ?!?
