      Hi Sam, We will visit Cremona in May’2023 via driving from Nice, thinking we may visit Bergamo, u mentioned that Bergamo is surrounding by lakes and mountains, we are interested in short 1 hour hiking and nature, any recommendations?
      And of course good local food or market to visit.

    That was a typical Lombard wash-house; you could find a similar one also in Crespi d'Adda, the "British like" little town right near Bergamo. I think my grandmother used a wash-house like that sometimes when she was a little girl.

    did you like the city? recognized on the fly even without description. stay longer, however, that the center will be small but the main streets must be seen

      Yes, definitely! Just make sure you have warmer clothes and umbrellas as it can get rainy and the temperatures start dropping :)

      Sicily. Art and culture back to Ancient Greece . Palermo is one of the finest Italian and European towns .. a true gem.
