Once you’ve escaped, become a bounty hunter. Sure you will get noticed for your skills, but your use of the force could be seen as just pure luck in the underworld, as long as you’re not in any imperial business like Boba, you’d be fine, and they more than likely wouldn’t be looking towards bounty hunters for Jedi.

Brilliant idea! It's interesting that more Jedi didn't distrust the clones and prefer to fight alongside militia forces. When the Kaminoans said the clones "were programmed from birth" the Jedi should have been suspicious of their programming. Especially considering that a bounty hunter was the host and Dooku was behind it.
Well, it's clear you would have survived order 66 :D

Edit: Steps 1 and 2 work for humanoid Jedi only.
Step 1: Force choke a clone while hiding.
    Step 2: Steal his armor.
Step 3: Mind trick your way out of there.

      Couple problems with this.
1: you have to survive the initial surprise attack.
2: you need time in order to put the armor on.
3: clone armor is only molded to one size unless you count the bad batch.
4: Mando armor isn't mainstream because the only people who know how to make it are Mando's, and they don't just hand that out.
5: Most Jedi didn't know how to force choke, and only those with dark side leanings could do that as it's forbidden bc light side dogma.
6: Any clone would be able to see something's off by the way you walk, since they all walk the same.
7: The voice modulator would sound different as it's a different voice in the helmet.
8: you'd have to get the body suit off the clones too.
9: Your clones would know your voice if they're not effected by the mind manipulation.
10: You'd have to ditch your lightsaber somewhere.
11: Even if you evade the clones initially, you still have to get off world.
12: Most worlds don't have facial reconstruction.
13: You'd have to find one that won't turn you in, or rat you at afterward.

Are we even going to mention the bs of how poe got off that planet him and Finn were stranded on before Finn? Now that I really get thinking, how on Earth did the new republic, Leia, Luke, Han, Lando, and ALL of the vets of the rebel alliance let the first order form under their nose? Especially with that 30 year time gap. Not to mention the bs of how any sith knowledge remained after Luke killed the emperor and Vader died too. Why does kylo Revere Vader when he knows how his story ended? Where in Earth did snoke come from? How TF did Rey, someone with virtually no formal combat training, outdo Finn in a sword fight when he has more experience with a lightsaber, AND was formally trained? If they wanted him to get hurt the way he did, why not have him get his shoulder burned through, but stay in commission until Rey gets herself into a bind. Then Finn could take the lightsaber in the back. Speaking of Finn and plot arcs, why did rose literally screw everyone over by not letting Finn kamikaze into the laser? How did Rey and co get off of krait past the star destroyer that was up there? Why didn't admiral ackbar get that send off that holdo got? *Laughs in Grey Paladin*
Grey Paladins were Jedi (Light Sider's actually) that were considered outcast from the Order cause they used Blasters with the Force, amongst other tech - and generally fought like a John Woo film character (with a bit of Matrix and John Wick), they could even shoot other Blaster bolts out of the air.
[They weren't slaves to ancient ways, learn from their example. It's safe to say that the ancient ways have just been proven sorely lacking.]
Unless they were completely outrageous with their skills, they would look like Han Solo having a really good day or a Mandalorian on laundry day (grabbing some Mandalorian armour would be a good idea if you planned on doing a bit of heroism, after all a Mandalorian slaughtering a whole bunch of bad guys isn't that extraordinary).
Note some Grey Paladins still carried lightsabers, they just didn't limit themselves to it. If you decide to keep your lightsaber, in case you need to duel Sith, consider disguising it as something else …like a stun Blaster!
Or just invest in anti-Jedi weapondry and tactics to use against Sith in a bit of irony.
So ditch the Jedi stuff and get a couple of quality Blasters and some other non Jedi gear to use to get out of sticky situations, you'll be able to outshoot anyone without screaming Force user. Bystanders will just assume you're a good shot who's got plot armour.
If you do whip out your lightsaber, don't leave any witnesses that'll tell. Or save it for if your covers blown.
And maybe get a helmet or respirator to disguise your face _if it's well known._
Changing your features if possible with surgery should be considered (a Clawdite Jedi is in a lot of luck).
At least invest in some dye and a haircut, depending on species (a Wookie with a colour rinse would be unrecognisable).
But what are your long term plans for survival?.
Well that depends on whether you want to escape, rebuild or fight.
If you want to escape, the unknown regions are the best bet, and with your Force sensitivity navigating there shouldn't be too much of an issue. Maybe find someone, settle down, violate the order on relationships and pump out a bunch of little Force Sensitives. What's Yoda going to do about it?
To rebuild you should either run to unknown regions in company to start again, or hide in plain sight under a new identity - but this is not that hard, just *_changing your first name to Ben is enough._*
A ambitious plan could be to get your hands on as many cell samples of deceased Jedi as possible, but that would require sneaking into Imperial facilities, maybe even the Jedi temple itself. Only one living being of any genotype can have a Force connection (except twins???) but if the donor is dead, a one off clone will work.
Or just connect up with the baby snatchers. They would most likely be out on assignment, not hanging with Clone troopers when Order 66 came down, so a lot of them should survive. Just the rules should change to take the parents along with the brat, the personnel to child raise would be in short supply and the parents would be more willing to hand over the kid if they go along - plus it won't leave a clue, they just emigrated.
Plus the parents will be encouraged to have more kids if Jedi training is a vocational school and not a missing child.
A new self sustaining Jedi colony could be formed, although for safety a large ship is better cause a static colony of Jedi could be discovered.
As for fighting back, get a job that allows you an excuse to travel, a light freighter is a good cover, you can come and go like a *Ghost…*
Another good occupation is bounty hunter… seriously. A lot of bounties will be for actual bad people, so you can collect enough to stay in business, to not arouse suspicion, while still keeping a moral code by only capturing criminals who deserve it, like two certain Mos Eisley scum.
And you can keep a eye out for bounties on Jedi and other Rebel types - and secretly aide them and even recruit them to the cause.
Plus it gives a lot of opportunities to do some mischief to anti Jedi groups, and the equipment (and skill) to pull it off.
"Oh dear, this wanted individual must've bombed your facilities, I'll capture him with extreme prejudice". …[Giggle snort].
Whatever you do though, practice _screening yourself from Force sensitives._
And always have a escape plan and kit, and know when to use it. Just staying alive is winning.
Seriously though, skip the living out the rest of your days alone in a monastic lifestyle until you die option. It's letting the Sith win with just a delay and extra steps.

    • @annmurry8589
      @annmurry8589 5 лет назад +5

Babysnatchers on the lookout could have a force-sensitive-children-field-day.
Taking force sensitive parents with children would attract attention. Using the force to time things right could set up a snatchie to scoop up the kids while mommy/daddy were fighting - possibly swapping kiddos fairy legend changeling style.
By avoiding high profile targets, this could be a clean getaway in some distant unknown regions or the world between worlds.
(I guess that messing with those clone chips wouldn't stop the empire from their ultimate plan).
Tough call honestly, try to fight and attract lots of the wrong attention - or sneak off into shadows with dead peoples' kids ... while the 1rst choice is more "by the books", those books are currently in flames and saving innocent kids is emotionally compelling in a different way.

    • @casbot71
      @casbot71 5 лет назад +8

And remember, if you want to confront that _Sith in a duel,_ just remember the old rules about _no interference during battle and each death will allow time for a dramatic final monologue_ have been completely shattered by the Sith, so it's no rules now.
Use Force telekinesis or mind control someone to place a bomb on a Imperial Shuttle, let Darth parry that. And if he does survive, ion bombs will do a great number on his suit, he's a quadruple amputee with a respirator and full life support. He's not doing much with the power down, no hand guestures to activate abilities. Imagine taking him out while he's in his Bacta tank. Or even sabotaging it or his suit.
Against Imperials be an assassin and a saboteur that has psychic powers, never even let them know it was you.
Use mind control to really mess with soldiers and ground personnel, get fights started, make mistakes in maintenance. Get them to destroy each other.
Using your own soldiers to kill you leaves nothing off the table in retribution, no tactic to low, to dishonourable, or unfair, or extreme.

Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life… He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death, but not himself.

If you're looking to survive post-Order 66 but you're also unwilling to live a quiet and anonymous life, you're going to have to live on the move. Buy, beg, borrow, or steal a decent-size transport ship with a focus on escaping conflict and laying low rather than picking fights, and space hobo your way across the galaxy.
If you must have some kind of planetside haven, look for a system that is off major hyperspace routes and offers some kind of defense against Imperials just bopping in to snatch you up. The Cularin system, for example, has such wild gravitic anomalies and a dense asteroid field that it's impossible to jump anywhere directly in-system. Anyone who wants to gain access must jump to the outskirts of the system then cruise in at sublight speed--so if you're monitoring comms chatter in your hidey hole, you'll have enough time to scram before they bring the hammer down.

I will say, the main issue with being able to sense it was that most jedi couldn't precisely read minds (at least probably without focused concentration) and the clones switched over practically instantly, and with no interfering emotions a jedi would sense easier. Yoda could only tell what was happening because he could feel all the other jedi dying.

You know, in a galaxy far away, where to own an FTL capable ARMED spaceship is almost as "usual" as owning a CAR in our galaxy, the fleeing jedis do have the advantage of jedi archive map (wich is probably much bigger and detailed, than the map of republic/empire), advantage of preexisting jedi hideouts (secret temples), wich can be accessed only by forcewielders, advantage of outer rim and unknown regions, where navigation for non-jedi is nigh suicidal, and where whole civilisations (unknown to republic/empire) exist. In short the fleeing jedi should steal the best ship they can get their hands on (including smaller military ships, like corvettes and frigates, supposing it can be flown and operated by a single individual supported by droids), fill it with suplies and spare droids, and either flee outside the republic/empire borders and live there as a kinda nomad - but still according jedi code, or find a suitable hideout in space (time dilatation area around a black hole, handy nebulla, hollow asteroid or destroyed and deserted celestial body), park there your ship, prepare yourself an army of droids, to function as an alarm clock (when the time is right, or suitable period pases, or your location is discovered) and get yourself a pretty carbon-hybertanion nap. In the first (non-nap) case, the jedi could even pick the force-sensitive childern or volunteers and proceed in having padawans, and teaching others.

I understand the symbol that the light saber is intended to represent but I am in favor of mastering a wider range of different types of weapons, if nothing else to better know how to counter them.

You clones are fools. The weapons I'm in best at are, my trusted dl-44 blaster pistol, and my Fryk metal quarter staff

question: How much of the galaxy is not mapped, like what's beyond the map of the galaxy?

I’d flee to an outer rim planet in war, with some bounty hunters, unite the planet, become an advisor to the council, now if the empire tries to kill me they must conquer the planet. We build up a fleet, flee the planet and head to the Yhuzan Vong Galaxy, and use my talents there. What do you think?

Deip Mapper! Death Star. Destroy your planet or even then they’ll just send a massive fleet to destroy your world. Fleeing to the Yhuzan Vong Galaxy will just make them kill you as seeing your mechanical fleet would automatically make you next on their hit list. You’d basically start the war of the Yhuzan Vong and the Empire. Both outcomes being horrible. You’d cause more turmoil than good if anything

Too bad I have a Passive Force ability called “Karmic Luck”. During, or even just before Order 66, we were low on certain fuels, such as Tibana Gas for the Blasters & such, OR the barrels of the clones’ rifles weren’t clean enough. OR I’m in a situation where I slip & in order for the clones to successfully kill me, they’ll need to save me long enough to shoot me. My lightsaber is orange & I personally feel that THIS would be the Likely scenario for me & such.
As for hiding, its hard not to notice all the Coincidences that happens around me & such; I can’t turn of my Passive Force ability where innocent lives are coincidentally saved & non-innocents are, for example, struck by lightning on a sunny winter day.

As for your thing about a strong enough bond allowing troopers to reject order 66, we have seen that it doesn’t work. Both Cody and Rex who had strong bonds with their assigned Jedi at the time succumbed to the command although Rex could reject the command for only a split second to mutter a few words before opening fire.

    How to survive order 66
    Step 1: Lie
Step 2: Wear something that obscures your face
    Step 3: Profit
