If Fox actually used the stun setting, Fives would’ve saved everyone. Instead the former pretty much cemented it. Then he got what he deserved by Vader.
Honestly idk even if fives got like a second chance to tell the rex and anakin, palpatine might try to assassinate fives again before he can spill everything
Fox was probably ordered by Palpatine to execute Fives. No matter what. After all, He was the Commander in charge of the Coruscant Guard and Palpatines most trusted clone.
We likely would’ve seen Rex die on the ship but Ahsoka and Maul actually catch up with Kenobi and Yoda before the two duels. Yoda and Maul va Sidious while Ahsoka and Kenobi fight Vader
That’s what makes that whole scene so incredible … the battle is amazing, then at the end you’re literal screaming at the screen for Ahsoka to listen to what Maul is actually saying 😩 Incredible storytelling
I don't think there would've been much of a difference. Maul didn't care if the jedi or the Republic fell, claiming it already had and their time has passed. His plan was for him and Ahsoka to survive the rise of the empire and later kill Darth Sidious to take his place. If Ahsoka had taken Maul's offer to join him, it wouldn't change order 66 because at that point, it was only hours away and they wouldn't have gotten to Coruscant from Mandalore in time. If Ahsoka told the jedi council that Maul said Anakin will become a sith, Windu who had never trusted Anakin would've treated him as an enemy and because of that Anakin wouldn't hesitate to join Palpatine like he did in canon.
@@stormdragon4758, "fight" I think with Ahsoka and Obi-Wan BOTH there they're slightly more likely to straight up redeem him than fight to the point of serious injury well, as much as someone who just massacred children and took his other war crimes to a new level can be redeemed anyway

It would be kinda funny if the jedi secretely removed every inhibitor chip from the clones and then when palpatine tried to execute order 66 they were just like nope, and went to his office to arrest him.
One thing that would have been even more funny would have been if, during the orders programmations, 65 and 66 had been inadvertently switched... Imagine Palpatine thinking his grand plan succeded, just to have the Grand Army at his doorstep to remove him from power X'D
While Order 66 was kept secret, Palpatine has a back up plan in case it was discovered. Order 65 is the same as 66 except aimed at the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic. That way if 66 was discovered he could show Order 65 to the people to calm them, showing that these were just back up plans in case of the worst case scenarios.
Yeah but these orders were secret. As long as nobody knew them then nobody could order "order 65" so to me that would be suspicious and point right to the person at the head of the conspiracy, Chancellor Palpatine.
It is a thin veil at best, I believe that was implemented just in case the chips are discovered early to give plausible deniability keeping him in control or if something really incalculable happens and gets ousted he can use it to regain control by force. The only reason it was ignored in the first place is that the jedi were both to busy and too disconnected, as they were trained, to look into the matter. But, it could have been disastrous if it was found out right after geonosis because they would have still had enough people to scratch their heads on the matter and Palpatine would have to step up his fast talking A game to slither out it.
@@MR.LMR1996 which is very suspicious considering that the senate never inquired about utilizing a clone army nor specify any requirements. It looks good only on paper until someone with a brain goes "wait a minute! These orders are oddly specific, who authorized this and when?" Again the extra orders are a thin veil at best because just having one having one is extremely suspect but over 100 while thoughtful would still demand an investigation. Essentially, if the plan was found out too early, this would buy enough time for Palpatine to slither away and and use the next plan. Even the jedi are not that dumb.
A solid plan, but we also have to take into account of the clones hard wiring that also prohibits blue-on-blue actions. Maybe once the civil war starts, capitalizing on any captured separatist's factory/forge worlds to produce weapons and auxillary "personnel" to act as supplements to the jedi's current force multipliers and logistic capabilities - can greatly help win a war against Palpatine. Though getting worker to operate the factories would present a problem, more so if it's the Jedi who are heading and conducting operations...
well to supply the factories with personel it would only really be an issue in the beginning as once the first droids get off the asseblyline they could have those work them alternatively if dooko were to actually rebell there would be the enemy of my enemy situation and an alliance between the jedi and the seps could be formed which would greatly increase there odds and end the conflict way faster
An interesting thing that I have always thought of since seeing attack of the clones was why the Jedi weren’t very concerned with the clone army showing up on Geonosis. Kenobi led a personal investigation into the clone program but instead of being completely skeptical of the clones, the Jedi decided to become generals to those same clones. I know that it was part of palpatine’s plan, but the Jedi could have used volunteer armies that were loyal to them like Ram Kota. They also could have done further investigations as to why Sifo Dias wanted to create the clone army in the first place.
He had a "sith" right infront of him. It's like a cat with a laser pointer, or string, or a feather, or a stick........ ......and there goes the object pemanence......
Imagine in Star Wars Visions, or a possible Star Wars version of What If?, if there was a what if scenario where this did actually happen! It would be quite interesting to watch.
@@RazuX5 it wasn't that bad, surely. Just other Star Wars fans from Japan and other Asian countries making fan projects based on their own version of Star Wars.
I figured the chip gives little charges of energy similiar to the messages going through our brains to trigger certain things in the clones. This I think is combined with a strong but subtle indoctrination progrram during training on kamino which sets it up so the clones act kind of like sleeper agents when given the order. So its like a mix of they fully believed the jedi were traitors and a robotic mind control
In the comics, Darth Vader asked how many orders existed, because he figured Palpatine added a new order. If Palpatine could add orders, then there should be a way to delete them as well, or put in an order to disregard all future orders given.
If they went with Ki Adi Mundi's advice to first eliminate General Grevious and then confront Palpatine to give up his emergency powers, only then would they gain the support from the Senate in which they can legally remove the chancellor from his seat and then order all the highest ranking clone officers to execute Order 65. At least that way, they'd have to handle a lot less hassle and casualties, and even avoid starting an actual civil war.
@@Fordo007 I imagine the process of selecting which senators gets to be part of the security council would be somewhat similar to how US senators get chosen which committee they can get assigned to in Congress IRL.
I would LoVe to see a whole series on this timeline. It would be really awesome and maybe even better than the canon timeline. Good Video and thank you.
Problem was that the Jedi thought the CIS was the Sith empire they had been training to fight for centuries. So the clones were viewed as necessary and the Jedi didn't have time to do a proper investigation.
They were also too closed minded for their own good. There were so many clues and teases shown right in front of them but they trudged on anyway without question.

Vid idea: What if Grievous survived on Utapau and joined the Rebellion with all the forces he was able to save from the shut down order. How much bigger of a problem would it be for Palpatine? Or if not at all..
I’ve always wondered what would have happened would he join the Jedi hating empire but was the faction he was at war with or join the rebellion but have to deal with Jedi sympathizers
@@Datboi814 Me and a buddy were thinking of having Grievous have taken a duplicate version of the prototype plans of the Death Star on Geonosis, incase of an ambush and Poggle had to dip with the plans. But he kept them for himself and used them to fight Sidious and would eventually discover a big cell of the rebellion after suffering a few battle losses and join after.. Aggressive negotiations
@@Datboi814 honestly, I think if anything that Grevious wouldn’t join up with anybody. He’d just go rogue like Gizor Delso in legends or Saul Gerrara. He hates the Jedi for what they did to him (even though it was dooku who messed him up, he never learned of that). He wouldn’t fight with a Rebellion that worked with them. He also wouldn’t side with the Empire, as basically it’s the same faction that he fought against for years.
Personally, I think the Jedi should avoid the Clones that had really really bad Jedi Commanders. There could be a chance that they honestly did resent or outright hate the Jedi even if the clones didn't have the chips in their heads.
Palpatine strategized the plan all too well, it was an already losing battle for the jedi, a battle that the Jedi didn't even knew existed. He effectively hit the Jedi left right and center, all of their weakness exploited in one go. The Jedi are fighting an invisible knowledgeable enemy, they can't fight something invisible and out of reach, so they could only escape from it however the thing is they don't know how, it was already too late. there's simply no escape route for the Jedi whatsoever. for the Jedi It's like a deaf blind person trying to find his way out of a maze with no help or any knowledge. Gotta give Palpatine props.
I kind of disagree, the Jedi had many opportunities to win, for example, if during Palpatine's arrest Anakin hadn't interfered or arrived one second later Palpatine would have died and order 66 would never have been issued, it was trough pure luck the later stage of Palpatine's plan worked
Maybe they could have implemented a device in all the clones bunks and quarters that secretly removed the chips without anyone knowing, or they could have put something in their food and drinks that would remove the chip.
This is probably the coolest and most interesting "what if" scenario in the star wars universe. The jedi very well could have done what was proposed in this video and seeing a clone wars-esk few episode animation of it would be utterly amazing. This kind of story would be easy to mess up as a producer (Disney), as the lore is very intricate and delicate around order 66 and its possible prevention/counter. Therefore, this story would essentially have to follow this video and the rest of the accompanying lore to a T for it to make sense. The example addition of Dooku breaking away from palpy would in fact be a cool way to add a personal twist to how things might turn out though.
Ahsoka, She did save all clone troopers from order 66 control, even Cody, It possible Cody and ahsoka interact in the bad batch season 2 after Crosshair.
My biggest question is do the chips activate for all contingency orders or just 66? If the Security Council issued Order 65 and then Palpatine issued Order 66, would the Clones chips only activate for 66 and stop carrying out 65? Or would it activate for both and just go into a paradox? Or just lock into which order was given first?
In EU Legends, Clones were indoctrinated from birth to follow orders willingly and when Order 66 came, not all of them obeyed it with few dozen Clones defied the order and protected the Jedi.
The Jedi could remove the inhibitor chips from the clone commanders and communication officers first before moving to the rest of the GAR to make it harder for Palpatine to trigger order 66 if/when he finds out.
I wonder if this strategy would work better if Kix was rescued from the Separatists. Sure, it’s closer to Order 66 but by then the Jedi had more information like how Dooku murdered Sifo-Dyas and took over the creation of the army. In this timeline I would suppose the Jedi wouldn’t want to work with Dooku because then it becomes clear he and Palpatine are in cahoots. And I also wonder if Dooku would even have to get involved. He secretly wanted to create a Sith Empire to establish order and peace by force and since the plan would be falling apart, the Separatists would be the closest thing he has to that. Eventually on Palpatine’s side he’s going to order the clones he eliminated. They’re expensive and their loyalty will be called into question. And since the Jedi would only have a fraction of the clone army, Palpatine would believe numbers will work better. After all, the CIS grabbed a lot of territory at the start of the conflict with superior numbers. Dooku could just sit back as neither side will be able to afford to go after him. No matter who wins the civil war, the Republic will be weakened. Dooku could try and justify an invasion to take over the galaxy after rebuilding the CIS by claiming either Palpatine has become a tyrant determined to crush everybody or that the Jedi have overthrown a legitimate democracy and are anarchists determined to do the same to the CIS. And with the Republic in a mess while the CIS still have their megacorporations and likely many planets who joined the CIS to not be involved in the Republic Civil War, Dooku’s Sith Empire probably will be born. It probably won’t be as bad as Palpatine’s Empire, but Sith Empires on average are usually cruel and tyrannical.
i have a character that has been around since the battle of Naboo to beyond the battle of Endor problem is in this scenario he would be discovered amoungst the ranks, a former MMO security droid self modified with Commando droid parts that joined the Republic under the guise of a clone CT-7320 or Zero who had died during the battle of Geonosis having survived this long in the GAR by using the silver tounge he gained when he was no longer under control of the Trade Fedoration
Wait! What about Anakin? Where does he fit in all of this? You know, the whole having nightmare about Padme dying is still going to happen. So what is going to stop him from joining the Sith?
It was either planted by palapatine, or a vision of his own future…. If he would have just trusted in the force, found strength in his relationships with Obi wan and ashoka, etc, a lot could have set his mind at ease. He cause padmes death with his fall
If he just would have ignored his visions and stopped thinking they always had to pass, he could have avoided a lot There’s reasons the Jedi and ancient texts warned against those type of force visions and / or the attachments to stuff in them that could lead you to fear too much. *the Jedi should have trained him different and allowed family etc still, I’m js much of the anakin problem is his own fault being too afraid
What about him? Anakin might be the best but he can't withstand the wrath of thousands of Jedi Generals plus their clone legions. Even the 501st would probably be divided between siding with the Jedi and Ashoka or siding with Anakin and the Sith.
A photon torpedo fired into Palpatines office should do the trick. Or since the Jedi were already very suspicious of Palpatines power grab around the time of the Battle of Corescant. … Instead of sending two Jedi into the *Invisible Hand,* just have a barrage fired at that bridge, in the heat and confusion of battle, while Palpatine, Grevious and Dooku are all present. It would be a clean sweep, and even if you didn't know that Palpatine was Siddious it would seem like a reasonable exchange - matyring your Chancellor who you're deeply suspicious of, and taking out the leader of the CIS _and_ his top General and Jedi killer extraordinaire… The two best personal combatants, who outclass nearly every Jedi in existence are no more. The CIS could be readily blamed for Palpatines death, and the Jedi can push for Bail Organa to be appointed the next Chancellor… and he slowly begins to divest the position of its absolute power. Palpatines memorial service will have to be closed casket, perhaps with no actual body, or just a few recovered parts.
Another is that the Jedi with Senator allies push for non-clone armies. It would not be too difficult to imagine for several reasons and one doable as seen in the Force Awakening. One, from a moral standpoint, many Jedi and Senators may not like how right the Separatist points are how the clones are slaves and feel a need to transition the Republic away to a volunteer army. Second, on a more practical point, it was cheaper for the army of hundreds of billions of people and could lead to where numbers were on the Republic side. The third is propaganda, as it shows the Galaxy the Republic is worth fighting for they don't need to buy and mass produce an army to win the war, unlike the Separatist that depends on cheap disposable droids with only a few organic commanders.
Logistically, mustering a hundred million man volunteer army on short notice is nigh on impossible. Training and standardizing said army is even worse. This is provided that the New GAR keeps the supplies weapons and vehicles from the kaminoans. Considering not using the clone army is a violation of the contract. They wouldnt. The Republic didnt use a volunteer army because under the circumstances. It couldnt. As was Sidious' plan.
@@kingandros4819 Yes, in the first year of the war. I was stating they could transition, as in move away when it's obvious the war will be dragged out for years.
If the Jedi had refused to be the Generals of the Republic's clone army, they could have avoided Order 66, or at least have been able to better to defend themselves. They should have, in place of leading the army, set up some officer training academies to train sentients from around the Galaxy to lead the army. Even better, they should have used their influence with friendly senators to create a defense force made up of people from each system. Again the Jedi would have only been involved in their training, except to directly confront any Sith or dark jedi with the Separatists.
Palpatine screwed up there. All he needed to cover the chips was to tell the Jedi that the safety to deal with rogue Jedi had been triggered and they would have helped covering it up, killing a rogue Jedi early would save a lot of lives.
The inhibitor chips would have most likely had a protein sheathe that protected them from the body's immune system, if so, then for some reason Tup's protein sheathe broke down allowing his body to attack the inhibitor chip, but as the chip broke down the waste would poison his brain cells. Something similar to neurocysticercosis basically
Palpatine: Execute order 66! Clones: I'm sorry sir order 65 was already executed and you have been deemed unfit for office. We'll be coming for you. Palpatine: Damn I guess I should have made it so the orders against me didn't work...
So… Obi-Wan Kenobi takes Commander Cody to Dex’s Diner for lunch one day. They enjoyed some Jawa Juice as the WA-7 waitress droid called out customers’ orders and Dexter prepared their Shawda club sandwiches. The tranquility of the diner was forever shattered as the waitress droid called out: “66! Carryout order 66!”
How about ships in the outer rim go radio silent for security reasons, during such time the chips are removed on the individual vessels. Lead the separatists into a battle near holonet relays to blame them. Remove the chips from highest clone commanders first, rex, Cody, Jesse, commandos, and bad batch especially because not only are they the biggest threat but can convince the other troopers should the order be executed to stand down
I’ve been writing a series where the current power system is corrupt and in risk of being taken over due to a grand conspiracy sort of like the prequels. The difference is the main characters will slowly discover it and develop a counter plan before it’s too late.
I think something they could also do at the very least, if they can't do it on a massive scale, is to remove the chips from the legion commanders and officers. This could throw Palpatine off guard and he'd have to hope that there'd be someone else with similar authority over his other clones to proceed with the order. If he can't find anyone then he's almost screwed, I believe. The commanders could then order a chip removal on a massive scale.
If the Jedi take over the Senate they'll likely have to reinstitute the title of Jedi Lord while they temporarily rule... clones will still get to say 'it will be done my lord'
There may have been a lot of other orders, but seeing as the chip was unknown to the GAR we can assume only order 66 was programmed. I think issuing such an order would be about as useful as storming the office.
Here's another question, what would have happened if during Palpatine's speech a senator called him a traitor called for Order (65?)....the removal of The Supreme Chancellor. The Jedi all but gone...how could that have changed things?
@@Fordo007 ok, let's say enough of them did order it because they wanted him out of office so they could the one in charge....greed is a powerful motivator.
In a civil war scenario, it would actually probably be easier for Palpatine to paint the Jedi as traitors. Especially if they assaulted Coruscant. Regardless though, the CIS would likely play a big part either if dooku goes rouge or if Palpatine falls back on them to prop up the empire.
the other way is to cut of the special reserved holo frequency that order 66 is sent on -or its verification code do that and the order doesn't do much as it has to be triggered and confirmed
what I always supposed was that the chips are different from the other cells of the brain but very very little...elseway they will come out on every scan the clones did...we see with Asoka and rex she had to use the force just to allow the medical scanner to find the chip...the chip are put inside the brain so early that are part of the brain so a "normal" surgery maybe can't work well if you don't know what to search
The force wanted order 66. And it wanted the emperor tossed down the shaft. Force users needed the reality check that their use of the force in light and dark modes was not the way forward. The force allowed Obi-Wan, Yoda, Anakin, and Luke to keep the great gift to help a new Era begin.
It's not an out there idea but I would have advised the Jedi council to thoroughly investigate the origins of the clone army and its strange links with count Dooku. The fact that the same bounty hunter that was the template for the army and participated in their training and the elaboration of their battle doctrine, happens to be working closely under Count Dooku seems very suspicious. that means at least that Dooku knew before the Jedis that the army was ready. Why wouldn't he seize the army for himself to defang the Republic? The Kaminoan being far removed from galactic politics and without a Jedi intermediary would not have budged. There are also the claims of Dooku that even if thought to be lies still have to be investigated just to see what the Siths want the Jedis to think. I know that the beginning of the war was a shitshow and sending Jedis all around the Galaxy was done in haste but the Council should not have parted with Kenobi. He is known to be one of their best investigators, with some of the best informant network in Coruscant and he has seen first hand most of what is to be investigated. Having him lead an Investigation team of Republic judicial officers (the ones doing the investigating in canon) would be logical. Another point that always botehred me when I was a kid is that the kaminoan are presented in their introduction by Dexxter as greedy and ready to do anything for the right price, but somehow the question of the price never comes up even when he announces to his long absented Jedi client the number of units ready and the ones in preparation. The origin of this money as well as the consequent fleet and amount of weapons that were built secretly to arm an army no one knew about. I read the extended materials so I know how Damask Holdings paid for it, but the fact that soomeone engeneered an army for the Republic in secret pro bono and the Siths know about it is staring at them in the face. Then there is the death of Siyo-Dyas, an extremist Jedi friends with Dooku that ordered an army 10 years ago just before mysteriously disappearing in a secret mission for the then Chancellor Valorum. Once again it looks so suspicious it's almost funny. So many things may have been uncovered in such an investigation, especially when you see how far the Republic officers came to the truth when right in the middle of the Battle of Coruscant they almost linked Palpatine to Darth Sidious before being killed by a Geonosian hired gun. The "Kenobi Commission" may not have uncovered everything but I believe it could have helped the Jedis to be better prepared and less trusting of the clones and the Republic. Sure, This investigation team would deprive the Order of a talented general on the field and maybe a few battles may have been lost on this account, but the payoff would have been far greater. The prerogative of the council is to fight the Dark Side not fight the Republic's wars, that comes second in order of priority. They know that Count Dooku is a Sith apprentice and that his actions are part of a greater plan, they also know that the Siths are absolutists who crave total control and won't sttle for carving a powerful dominion across the Outer Rim with teh Confederacy. Hence this war is obviously a distraction. When the enemy is trying to distract you, you stop and try to figure out what his plans are, you don't rush head first in a battle. The Jedis had truly lost their ways back then. Even Master Yoda's ominosu warning about the Dark shroud falling on the galaxy should enjoin them not to thread where the enemy wants them to go for he might have lain a trap. A complet medical check-up independant of any Kaminoan interference would of course be part of such an investigation and would probably uncover the chips. Though the 150 orders might cover it's purpose its hidden nature would warn the Jedis that the Clone army is a poison made to kill them of the Republic from the inside. All in all the Jedis really suffered from the almost doomed resignation that Master Yoda showed and the pig-headedness of Mace Windu. With their leadership half depressed because of the inexcapable nature of Darkness and the otehr half secretly glad he can finally kick some ass they really messed up. The jedis once again clearly showed themselves to be monk/philosophers/warriors instead of the intelligence agent/soldiers/politicians they needed to be to survive. TLDR: The jedis should have kept Obi-Wan on the side at the beginning of the war to continue his investigation and uncover the shady origins of the clone army. One question, I always wondered if the Agri corps are truly the best use for a below average Jedi? Even being below average in the Order still means you are better than most of the Galaxy, and relegating people to being farmers for failing to be space wizards always seemed like a waste to me. People like Han Solo and Padme Amidala who that a just higher than normal midichlorian count can still allow you to make incredible things and being more proficient than most at many activities (precise piloting or political negociation). Plsu I always got the feeling that Force sensitive are often more intelligent than the norm, you don't get many stupid Jedis (Coleman Trevor being the exception). It seems a waste to send these able minds and bodies to be farmers instead fo being closer to the people. that would be a golden opportunity for showing the Galaxy that the Jedis are more than invincible space wizards in the core world grandiose temple but also spiritual leaders defending the light and good in the Galaxy. They would act as monks such as Chirrut Îmwe or Baze Malbus. The Archeological Corps is useful I guess but does little to connect with the people of the Galaxy, but we don't get enough informations about what the Service Corps actually do, probably meaning it doesn't matter to the Jedi knights on Coruscant. it seems to align with the worrying signs of "Midichlorianocracy" in the Order, the midichlorian being a good metric for power but not for competency as a leader or an administrator.
Order 65, the order to remove the Supreme Chancellor, definitely applied here. Palpatine had spent the entire clone wars providing intelligence on Republic movements to Dooku, so they could coordinate their plans; that would be considered treason in war time. All they would need was a friendly senator (Bail Organa or Padme) and the Jedi Council to sign off on it. Sadly, after the attack on Coruscant, as told in Revenge of the Sith, the Senate voted away the right to confer with the army, its officers, and the Jedi Order; transferring that power to the chancellor's office, those were the powers that Obi Wan mentioned to Anakin in the map room. After that, the only way Order 65 could have been issued was if the chancellor consented, and I doubt that was an order he would have gave.
The chancellor had to consent to removing himself from power if he became unfit? that defeats the purpose of the order. Wasn't it the Security Council who had to make a majority vote to issue it?
@@Fordo007 Yes, that was the point. The Senate at that point were just trying to preserve their positions. They were more than willing to give up their responsibility because they thought Palpatine would take the blame if things went wrong. They still thought he would lay down those powers when the war was over and they could get back to their old lives.
It would've been easy. Palpatine: Anakin! The Jedi are trying to kill me! Windu: Skywalker! I grant you the rank of master!! Anakin: *cuts off Palpatine's hands* *Other 3 Masters get some bacta*
Allow the order to be carried out and fake their deaths disappearing to the outer rim planets to secretly stage a Jedi uprising later on like the actual rebellion
Figured all they had to do was leave a few strategically dropped banana peels laying around for Palpatine to slip on... Then just wait.. Order 66 averted... Of course... WITHOUT 66... Have always imagined the vast majority of Clone Forces probably REFUSE the Order an many might even turn on him accusing him of either always being OR turning against his own.
Even if the Jedi managed to stop Order 66, Palpatine would have disappeared. In worst case scenario with clones fighting clones, Palpatine would have gotten the Separatists to take advantage of the chaos.
Heh... If they discovered order 66 and that palapatine was behind it (remember he framed fives by making them think fives attacked him) then all the Jedi need to do is when Dooku kidnaps Palpatine.... "Accidently" blow up the ship with both of them on it.
Now that I think about it, suppose that the Jedis win this civil war, and the Republic is preserved. What will happen to the clones? DDR ops on an entire clone army that knows nothing other than war, will no doubt present a problem

WAYS TO PREVENT THE ORDER 66: - switch the order 66 with order 65 - holo-transmission hacking - so when Palpatine does eventually orders it sounds like 65 instead of 66 (you can't tell me AI cannot do that voice changer shit) - reprogramming the chips to switch the two orders (IDK if that can be done, but in Legends I think you can add the orders afterwards so why tf not) - operating on Clones in secret (what he said) - to remove the chip - creating a virus that targets the chip (what he said) - disguised as a mandatory shot or procedure - Anakin fucking let’s Palpatine die - if during Palpatine's arrest Anakin hadn't interfered or arrived one second later Palpatine would have died and order 66 would never have been issued - removing the chip only from commanders - then order 66 would fall on deaf ears - "Ooops I accidentally shot Chancellor Palpatine and now must go to prison. But fear not after X years they will release me and congradulate and ask for forgiveness after finding out about the hidden list of orders and chips and all the Death Star blueprints." plot
The real move would be to use the Jedi mind trick and trigger "Execute Order 65" A Jedi was able to turn clones on Vader by point out one he was a jedi and then using the Jedi Mind Trick to re-trigger Order 66. Authorization to give the order is irrelevant its the Jedi Mind Trick.
given the clones listened to a badly disfigured and hooded person who just clamed to be the chancellor... the Jedi could've likely just asked any Senator to say 'execute Order 65' and the clones would assume the senate security council voted to implement it. They had no way to verify Palpatine was Palpatine beyond the call coming from his comms after all.
I've never been a fan of the existence of other Orders implanted in the clones in legends. Order 66 being the solitary Order implanted in the clones reenforces the depths of Palpatine's cocky cleverness. Palpatine intended for the Jedi to be totally unaware of the clones until they were discovered. Order 66 being a secret directive compounded the Jedi Order's failure and made Palpatine's manipulation legendary.
I know how people will react but I still contend the Grand Plan would have been stopped in it's tracks if Jar Jar Binks had kept his mouth shut. He was so easily played it was pathetic.
Fox was doing what he was train for. Like any police they would fire their weapons if their lives are threaten.
Fox was probably ordered by Palpatine to execute Fives. No matter what. After all, He was the Commander in charge of the Coruscant Guard and Palpatines most trusted clone.
Dude, 100%….. that’s literally the sliding doors moment. That one decision changes absolutely everything
YEETUS YOU CANNOT BE A FEETUS! -Lord Vader.
I feel Maul and Ahsoka really could have minimized the damage done if they actually talked more on Mandalore
We likely would’ve seen Rex die on the ship but Ahsoka and Maul actually catch up with Kenobi and Yoda before the two duels. Yoda and Maul va Sidious while Ahsoka and Kenobi fight Vader
That’s what makes that whole scene so incredible … the battle is amazing, then at the end you’re literal screaming at the screen for Ahsoka to listen to what Maul is actually saying 😩
Incredible storytelling

Good ending unlocked
-100 Republic Credit.
Lmao right. Would make for a short series
One thing that would have been even more funny would have been if, during the orders programmations, 65 and 66 had been inadvertently switched... Imagine Palpatine thinking his grand plan succeded, just to have the Grand Army at his doorstep to remove him from power X'D
Palpy is strong, but is he strong enough to take on the entire GRE Clone Army at once? I’d think it would be an uphill battle for him for certain
But, it could have been disastrous if it was found out right after geonosis because they would have still had enough people to scratch their heads on the matter and Palpatine would have to step up his fast talking A game to slither out it.
apparently the clone control chips had 150 contingency orders programmed into them.
He wouldn’t activate Order 65, it would strip him from power. L
To stop Order 66, Fives must live to sufficiently warn the Jedi and his Clone brothers about the chips.
Totally agree, that’s always baffled me

I figured the chip gives little charges of energy similiar to the messages going through our brains to trigger certain things in the clones. This I think is combined with a strong but subtle indoctrination progrram during training on kamino which sets it up so the clones act kind of like sleeper agents when given the order. So its like a mix of they fully believed the jedi were traitors and a robotic mind control
Would explain Wrecker’s behavior during The Bad Batch.
@@robertnelson9599 omg elons trying to make a real life version of order 66😂😂
Yes I agree
The Security Council is the only group that can issue Order 65, do we know who they are? Are they Senators or handpicked Palpatine stooges?
@@Fordo007 I imagine the process of selecting which senators gets to be part of the security council would be somewhat similar to how US senators get chosen which committee they can get assigned to in Congress IRL.

Good Video and thank you.
Problem was that the Jedi thought the CIS was the Sith empire they had been training to fight for centuries. So the clones were viewed as necessary and the Jedi didn't have time to do a proper investigation.

@@centurionflorian4906 warlord grievous that’s pretty cool
Right. The Order was a masterpiece before Palpatine tore it all apart.
Props for that.
Saddest moment in Star Wars
Death sticks. They should have gotten their clones hooked on Death Sticks.
I like this guy's RUclips channels...very entertaining.
The HoloNet: A system for faster than speed communications. 🤣
The closed captions said “darf sidious” lmao
i have a character that has been around since the battle of Naboo to beyond the battle of Endor
problem is in this scenario he would be discovered amoungst the ranks, a former MMO security droid self modified with Commando droid parts that joined the Republic under the guise of a clone CT-7320 or Zero who had died during the battle of Geonosis having survived this long in the GAR by using the silver tounge he gained when he was no longer under control of the Trade Fedoration
If he just would have ignored his visions and stopped thinking they always had to pass, he could have avoided a lot
There’s reasons the Jedi and ancient texts warned against those type of force visions and / or the attachments to stuff in them that could lead you to fear too much.
Instead of sending two Jedi into the *Invisible Hand,* just have a barrage fired at that bridge, in the heat and confusion of battle, while Palpatine, Grevious and Dooku are all present.
It would be a clean sweep, and even if you didn't know that Palpatine was Siddious it would seem like a reasonable exchange - matyring your Chancellor who you're deeply suspicious of, and taking out the leader of the CIS _and_ his top General and Jedi killer extraordinaire…
The two best personal combatants, who outclass nearly every Jedi in existence are no more.
What I don’t understand is how all the Jedi in the temple couldn’t stand against a single clone trooper legion
Can you please continue the separatist alliance vs earth series please
Palpatine screwed up there. All he needed to cover the chips was to tell the Jedi that the safety to deal with rogue Jedi had been triggered and they would have helped covering it up, killing a rogue Jedi early would save a lot of lives.
The inhibitor chips would have most likely had a protein sheathe that protected them from the body's immune system, if so, then for some reason Tup's protein sheathe broke down allowing his body to attack the inhibitor chip, but as the chip broke down the waste would poison his brain cells. Something similar to neurocysticercosis basically
I really would love a Star Wars "What If" about this

I think something they could also do at the very least, if they can't do it on a massive scale, is to remove the chips from the legion commanders and officers. This could throw Palpatine off guard and he'd have to hope that there'd be someone else with similar authority over his other clones to proceed with the order. Here's another question, what would have happened if during Palpatine's speech a senator called him a traitor called for Order (65?)....the removal of The Supreme Chancellor. The Jedi all but gone...how could that have changed things?
Order 65 can only be issued by a majority vote of the Security Council, one senator calling Palpatine a traitor wouldn't issue it.
@@Fordo007 ok, let's say enough of them did order it because they wanted him out of office so they could the one in charge....greed is a powerful motivator.

2:20 It's not a tumor!
Anakin: *cuts off Palpatine's hands*
*Other 3 Masters get some bacta*
Allow the order to be carried out and fake their deaths disappearing to the outer rim planets to secretly stage a Jedi uprising later on like the actual rebellion
I doubt the Jedi could have prevented it.
If only the Jedi just had an Uno reverse card...
Now that I think about it, suppose that the Jedis win this civil war, and the Republic is preserved. What will happen to the clones? DDR ops on an entire clone army that knows nothing other than war, will no doubt present a problem
Do a want if the Jedi lunch order 65 remove Canciller Palpatin
Hook up the clones to Anarchy 99 (triple x) and get them confused
What’s faster than speed ??
Communication))
The Legends version makes so much more sense than DisCan...
The last option was probably the best.
How the Jedi prevent order 66:
The Jedi are the Jedi of old, not the current, dogmatic and arrogant zelots they were.
Ahsoka grew up with clones so she would have investigated the chip more.
The Jedi war, and clones fighting clones should've been the real clone wars
WHAT LED TO DISCOVERING THE SECRET PLOT AND ALMOST TAKING ACTION AGAINST PALPATINE
1. discovery of the Clone Army on Kamino - **22BBY**
- learning about Sypho Dias
- Jango Fett mentioning Tyrannus
2. Dooku reveals the Senate has a mole - Sheev Palpatine - **22BBY** day prior to the Battle of Geonosis
3. Palpatine gets the emergency powers
4. Battle of Geonosis + start of the Clone Wars - **22BBY**
5. Tup kills Jedi Master **Tiplar** (S6E10 - The Unknown) - **19BBY**
- START OF CONSPIRACY (thought as The Separatist conspiracy)
- Fives discovers the chips (S6E3)
- Palpatine “discuses” with Fives alone (S6E4)
- Palpatine confesses to Fives he orchestrated it all
- Fives “attacks” Palpatine
- Fives escapes
- Fives meets Anakin and Rex
- Fives tells them everything
- **they don’t believe Fives**
- Fox shoots Fives
- Fives dies
- Palpatine lies it’s a parasite native to Ringo Vindathat made the Clones haywire
6. Dooku reveals he is Tyrannus (S6E10 The Lost One) - **19BBY**
- Anakin and Obi-Wan engage Dooku in combat where Lom reveals that the man called Tyranus is really Count Dooku
- Dooku reveals that he was telling the truth on Geonosis
- Dooku kills Lom and duels Anakin for a short time before defeating him and managing to escape
- On Coruscant, the **Council deduces that Dooku was responsible for the creation of the clone army.** (Tyrannus = Dooku)
- Questioning why their enemy created an army for them
- Yoda explains that this must really be the work of the Dark Lord of the Sith and that all they can do is "play his game."
7. Kix began questioning the so-called virus - **19BBY (After the Battle of Anaxes (S7E1)**
- he conducts his own further investigations into the matter after he discovered that Fives had discovered the truth before his untimely death
- learning that the biochip implanted in every clone soldier's head could send out an order directly from the Chancellor to betray and kill the Jedi
- KIX NEVER GETS TO TELL THE JEDI
WAYS TO FIND OUT ABOUT THE ORDER 66:
- Kix managing to tell her about the Orders
- someone of the Jedi doing their own investigating after the Fives’ death
- finding out about Orders
- maybe perhaps connecting the damn dots either in 22BBY OR after Dooku says everything again
- maybe perhaps Ashoka using brain and be "Wait a minute... I know I believe my master would never do that... But he did sometimes do that thing where his action would kinda foreshadow the future outcome... and there was this evil music playing every time he did something like that... I cannot put my feelings before my better judgement. Maul! We gotta tell everyone before it's too fucking late."
WAYS TO PREVENT THE ORDER 66:
- switch the order 66 with order 65
- holo-transmission hacking
- so when Palpatine does eventually orders it sounds like 65 instead of 66 (you can't tell me AI cannot do that voice changer shit)
- reprogramming the chips to switch the two orders (IDK if that can be done, but in Legends I think you can add the orders afterwards so why tf not)
- operating on Clones in secret (what he said)
- to remove the chip
- creating a virus that targets the chip (what he said)
- disguised as a mandatory shot or procedure
- Anakin fucking let’s Palpatine die
- if during Palpatine's arrest Anakin hadn't interfered or arrived one second later Palpatine would have died and order 66 would never have been issued
- removing the chip only from commanders
- then order 66 would fall on deaf ears
- "Ooops I accidentally shot Chancellor Palpatine and now must go to prison. But fear not after X years they will release me and congradulate and ask for forgiveness after finding out about the hidden list of orders and chips and all the Death Star blueprints." plot
Parley?
Just give the clones death sticks... 😜
nah the best way to have fought this would have been to hire a few elite gamorrean guards to deal with it
Well most of the clones did not care for the jedi anyway. Only the jedi could have save themselves... But they were just too blinded.
If Anakin didn’t attack Mace or just stay in the council chambers
if palpatine misspoke and told the clones to execute order 1
I know how people will react but I still contend the Grand Plan would have been stopped in it's tracks if Jar Jar Binks had kept his mouth shut. He was so easily played it was pathetic.
So essentially, the Jedi would turn against the "Republic" and be branded as Sith. Interesting. A second Jedi Civil War.
