Absolutely beautiful! Can I ask where you found the tactile switches? I'm looking to build my own Satele saber and am having trouble finding the right kind of switches to go with the hilt.
I agree. I’m eager to see the connection at the bottom of the new Rey Skywalker hilt as it’s a quick release. That being said, I think there are a few pro’s to this connection on this lightsaber. I think this saber is an exception in the fact that it was always a double sided saber in the game as far as I know. And this technique keeps the orientation of the sabers accurate AND keeps the saber VERY ridged. No wobble from the coupler which you would get with a quick connect.
