The King's Academy, a National Blue Ribbon, Christian school in South Florida, recently presented "Ghost the Musical" on its main stage in the new Page Family Center for Performing Arts. Starring TKA junior Clay Hider (Sam Wheat), freshman Olivia Henley (Molly Jensen), senior Gigi Perez (Oda Mae Brown), senior Graham Popadic (Carl Brunner), and junior Kyle Martin (Will Neuman), this performance showcased TKA’s fine young talent.
TKA’s Conservatory of the Arts, a two-time American High School Theatre Festival award-winning fine arts program, is led by Mr. David Snyder (Artistic Director, Musical Theater, Department Chair), Mrs. Sonia Santiago (Vocal Arts), Mrs. Cathy Higgins (Dance- Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz), Miss Riselle Portuondo (Dance- Ballet and Modern), Miss Sarah Fahey (Theatre Arts), Mr. Brad Majzner (Stagecraft), Mr. David Skinner (Instrumental Director), Mr. Wes Lowe (Assistant Band Director), Mr. Patrick Clifford (Strings), Mrs. Macey Norton (Video/Digital Arts), Mrs. Laura McFaden (Visual Art), Miss Stephanie Revell (Elementary Choir, Woodwinds), and Mrs. Robin Phillips (Piano).

That moment when you can hear how her voice trembles ever so slightly, you know that she's crying, but she sings it so well. I had goosebumps even just listening to it.

No other version I have heard hit me as hard as this one. I literally felt the pain though I have not lost anyone.
Until about an hour ago, I had not heard this Song nor did I know they made a Musical based on the Movie.
I have now watched 3 different Women on 3 different Stages perform this Song (thank you You Tube), each one emoting more Emotion (and Tears from me)..this beautiful Lady being the best..I'm afraid to seek out any more as I'm becoming Dehydrated and am an otherwise blubbering mess...

Yes I've lost my dad and both grandparents that helped raise me. And in the last 3 years I've lost my stepdad, my husband and several months ago I lost my brother. I definitely feel every word of this song.

Yes, this exactly. I am 49 and have been trying sing/cry for decades. Thanks to a rough childhood I can cry, and thankfully I can sing, but having the guts to get onstage, the skill and vocal control to sing softly and then in the next minute belt out notes with hella vibrato, and the depth of emotion to cry but not lose it?
On the off chance that Olivia Henley reads this someday... thank you for your talent, and this song is a gift to me during a very tumultuous time in my life. My son is your age, and if you were my daughter I would be VERY proud of you. 💗

I have seen this song/scene performed MANY times. Nothing , no profeesional troupe, no university trouple, no community theatre , and not the West End nor Broadway performances touch the silky rawness of this. Absolutely stunning. You truly believe Olivia is Molly and she has just went through losing Sam.
The thing is she made the song her own, you still have the general direction but I feel heartbreak and pain the way she portrays it.

singing a song with perfection is one thing, singing a song with emotion is another , put the two together and this is what you get. it was also perfect on another level as this is a song that is so easy to over do olivia henley got it exactly right.

That's how it's done. Not many singers can get an emotional reaction from me, but this young lady, Olivia, is gifted. She has a beautiful voice and together with the acting made it into a must watch video. Fan-bloody-tastic.
She is SUPERIOR to every one of the adults I've heard sing this piece in performance. Authentic emotion and no screeching. Brava/bravo to her vocal coach(es) as well.

This is my life. My brother died in 2008, my dad in 2010. Best friends 2010, 2017 and 2017. I been living my house. I am a singer. I got to I miss you and I can't stop crying. What a beautiful song. I was talking to my daddy today. I asked him for a sign. A 5 year old video pops up on my feed. Anyone know her name? What a beautiful voice and she looks so young. Whomever wrote this. You wrote it very experience. I used to go to the cemetery every single day for years. Like I was going to actually see them their. She says it in the song.
