  • Completely restored 1962 (I believe) Hohner Pianet N. cleaned inside and out, new sticky hammers (true to the original - not silicon but actual buckskin soaked pads). Plays and sound like a dream. If you love The Zombies or Beatles this is the one for you. Comes with volume pedal, legs, original suitcase, and original keys!

    That vibrato switch! You can hear the same click in the background after the intro of "You Like Me Too Much" on Help! Awesome.

    No one told me about her, the way she lied.
    No one told me about her, how many people cried...
    Lovely restoration. Congratulations!

    Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac used this on Hypnotized.

    Beautiful piece of equipment buddy! I hope one day my 1963 pianet C would look as slick like yours XD! Though, I believe, seeing those black legs, that it is the pianet N II, made from 1972-1976 (hohner started producing the N model in 1965) which makes it even more desirable because most of the annoying bugs got fixed in that model.

    In am impressed how you have this Pianet sounding so good. I have a Wurlitzer 200a, and I can never get that electric piano "sound". The only was I can, is to use Pianoteq or similar. By the way, Pianoteq contains VERY good Pianet N ,and Wurlitzer 200a sounds.

    What kind of device would you use to make this instrument produce "swell" notes, like what Tony Banks did during "Supper's Ready"?

    • @officialpierluk
      @officialpierluk 5 лет назад +6

      Tony Banks achieved a distinctive sound by running all of his keyboards (as well as his 12-string guitar) into a mixing board and then running the signal output of the board into a Leslie speaker (both the mixer and the rotary speaker were homemade)
      He used the Pianet as both a substitute for a grand piano, and also as a lead instrument, with the use of a fuzz box (also homemade, similar to the Fender Blender)

      You might want to import one of them from Europe. They seem to be way more affordable back here. I see good ones go for about 800 and restoration projects (like mine) go for as low as 200 euros.

    Too many decending chromatic jazzy chords at the beginning, a bit too repetitive for me.

      Nolan Natale also sorry, im not the best with musical terms. I am 11 anyways. Most of them are not 7ths at all, but i heard something similar in the pattern. Welp, thanks for pointing out my mistake in a weird way.
