Good helmet, I grabbed one to rotate between longer rides. For the price and the looks, it is worthwhile adding to your gear collection. It isnt a Shoei Neotec, and I have found the Simpson to be a touch louder with a noticable reduction in the airflow compared to the Shoei. I am not throwing shade at all, I love both helmets, just adding consideration to those of you that may be considering the Simpson ModBandit. Ride safe all.

I might need that mirrored shield tho I like the look! I’ve got the blacked out screen but mainly rock a clear screen with a slightly tinted pin lock just for visibility during the day and night
Yes! I struggle with that all of the time. I love rocking any helmet with a tinted type of shield and never think to change it out, and always get stuck riding home with the shield up so I can see in the dark😂 I should definitely looking at getting a smoked pin lock

I guessed Ghost Bandit. Looks good...like the color. I dont wear those things and am wondering what you do with those monsters when stopped for a meal or ar a rally etc?
Those “monsters” haha well, if I’m at a rally I usually bring a half helmet along and wear that around the town, if I’m traveling in a sketchy area I bring the helmet inside the restaurant, otherwise I just put it on my rear break pedal/ highway peg.

Thanks Scott! Not too familiar with the Bell, however the Shoei is a great helmet, I just went with the Simpson simply for the aesthetics! Thanks for watching🤘🏻

Is the mirrored finish tinted? Ie can you still use it at night? Or do you switch out the visor at night?
Definitely can’t use it at night😅 I usually just carry clear glasses and flip up the visor, if I’m out later than expected and forget to change it out
