Ordered mine today. Longtime Makita user, my oldest(at least 20 years) 9.6 volt keeps going as well as the 14.4 volt driver-drills and accessories so I decided to keep buying batteries for them. The previous Makita replacement batteries were dated 2011. They are now on their second sets of(aftermarket) batteries and my original 18v LXT batteries are still charging. They don't get used like they used to since retiring in 2015. Excellent intro for my new jig saw. It'll outlast this old timer. The rotating cornhole is cool.
