    What a deal you got on your wife's Tippmann Cronus! It looks like an authentic AR-15 rifle. Very tactical looking marker, it must be fun to target shoot with. Awesome that you and the wife spend time target shooting your less lethal weapons. That way you both will be proficient at using them in a self defense situation. Learning how to acquire and shoot targets with iron or fixed sights in addition to red dot sights or lasers is important in case those fail on you when you are defending yourself against a deadly threat. The black balls look to be best for target shooting while those red balls are heavy enough to provide a solid kinetic impact in self defense situations. At just under 5 grams you can maintain a high FPS and stop a threat quickly. I own a First Strike T9.1 myself. I have it set up as a rifle with the front shroud attachment. I use a Lapco Str8 Shot 16 inch .686 smooth bore barrel for the Grimburg projectiles. Bought some smaller aluminum hpa tanks and a pcp pump to fill them up. Trust me you want to switch to hpa when you can. Much easier on the internals of your markers because hpa air doesn't spike in pressure in hot weather like Co2 does. Every shot you take with hpa is a consistent FPS without pressure drops. Just something to keep in mind in the future for your larger markers. Great video friend, thanks for sharing!

      Awesome, practicing with my wife is awesome, we get to spend time with each other doing something we like and it's fun, the t9.1 is the best and more powerful marker on the market, I'm looking into purchasing the compressed air tanks soon with the stirrup pump I'm just waiting to move first before I go spending more money at this time lol. I want to put together a milsig m17 or a Tiberius t15 soon as well

    • @ronk.6986
      @ronk.6986 4 года назад

      I hear you on waiting on the tanks and pump...there are endless mods and accessories that can put you in debt quick as we discussed before. I for one went a little crazy with the less lethal purchases. It takes discipline to hold off buying when you think you need it all yesterday...lol! Just FYI I learned on one of Grimburg's videos that Milsig is going out of business so keep that in mind if you are considering the M17 marker. Parts eventually will be hard to find and will be expensive when you find them.

      @@ronk.6986 I know what you mean, I went a little crazy too lol, I think of it that way as well that I needed it yesterday lol, milsig did go out of business but now valken makes the m17, it's called the valken m17 now but still the same marker.

    • @ronk.6986
      @ronk.6986 4 года назад

      Less Lethal Options That's right I saw that Valken m17 for sale at ansgear. I found out that Valken is now the company that distributes the Milsig m17. It is still made at the same factory it has just been re-branded Valken. If I wasn't so invested in my t9.1 I would seriously consider buying this marker. I hear you can modify it to get some impressive FPS out of it. Besides that it is a very realistic marker.

    Love Mak Josie on his Cinnature and other youtube accts, and his High Power videos for the Cronus, With My Tippman Cronus, I wanted it to serve in a few different Modes, I want Both Hopper fed, and Stick Mag Fed, so to make my Cronus shoot Mag feed I Made My Own Gravity fed Stick Mags, out of 3/4" PVC Water tubing from Home depot, this fit right in the Stock Oem Hopper Mount, So I can pull the hopper off, and replace it with a Stick Mag of various Lengths for various amounts of ammo. I also made a Hopper extension to move the Hopper up about one inch to get the hopper up a little for better sight picture. I also made a ShotGun Stick Mag, to shoot different types of "Shot" and varying amounts of shot, Sot i can shoot Multiple BB's, Pellets, Pea gravel, Hard Uncooked Rice, steel balls, like a ShotGun and i can shoot light loads or Heavy Loads by increasing shot amount. as I added a doser to the stick Mag so that i can release a pre weighed amount into the gun, or release a second or third amount for heavy shot. The Tube Gravity Fed Stick mages work well in the Hopper mount. Hopper also work well, opening the hoppers up and removing all the Plastic Molding flashing inside the Hopper also helps a LOT with Hopper feeding. A ShotGun style Shot shooter will be for CLOSE range ONLY. Like for Snakes dipatchment, or other Large Insects, with a Tough exoskeleton, like scorpions, Think of the New Revolver Co2 powered "BUGASALT" Salt shooter, you could use Salt, in what ever coarseness and weight that you want, or use Very Large Coarse Rock Salt in the Stick Mag and use the doser to dose out a single dose or multiple doses per shot for a heavier shot load. Paint the Hopper(s) Mounted stick mags Flat Black with a Krylon plastic paint makes them look good. Incase some watching wants some Ideas. I would be Looking at a Good Quality Lithium DRY Lube for Plastic, in certain areas in the gun, as this will keep certain areas inside the Gun Much Cleaner, as liquid Lube has a tenancy to collect and Hold onto any dirt/grit inside the gun, creating a sanding Like effect on parts over time.

      I am looking at shooting Arrow BOLTS out of My Cronus. I want to start with a Barrel, and Modify it, By cutting out Two Spacers, I will try 3/4 inch wood first, and then Epoxy or liquid metal epoxy, them one at the Breech end of barrel and other at the Muzzle end of the Barrel, allowing enough room to slide the Bolt in all the way back, so the Spacing on your two Spacer/7mm Mounts that this will Mount and support, will need proper spacing Back from the Muzzle end to mount the bolt far enough Back to make sense, as well as Center and solidly mount the 7mm Inner Tube that the Arrow Bolt will Ride and Rest on, and shoot off of, To a A5 Barrel, so i would Use a Barrel that was Not my best A5 barrel I will use My worst A5 Barrel for this as the Combination of both the 7 mm tube, and the oem A5 barrel are epoxied together making them One unit, and will be the New Barrel that the Arrow Bolt uses, the HPA or Co2 will use the I.D. of the 7mm Tube for Its dispersement of what ever propellant you choose to use. I maybe to Shorten the A5 Barrel? Dont know till i start this Project. It will be a Single Bolt, Single shot, I would Love to have it be a Multiple Bolt Magazine Like what Joerg Sparve Builds and shoots on his youtube acct. He shoots 10mm Steel Nuts as ammo, I was thinking a rectangular Barrel that makes a good seal to the 10mm nut could be possible, Mounting that Barrel would be the difficulty involved Unless the Mechincs from the crous were used and a New Front Barrel Mount were made, But that is a heavy projectile, any size steel Nut could be used just go by Weight and match it to say a 3.6 gram to 5 grams maybe up to 10 gram or 12 grams Like the Heavy Riot balls like on Riot balls site, as they have 12 grams balls as Max Weight, 12 Gram is equal to 185 Grains, 5 grams is equal to 77.16 grains, Look at the energy of a 18 grain .22cal Heavy pellet in Pellet rifles, compared to 185 Grains, or even 77. Grains for these Heavy .68 cal Balls that have a Hugh Impact Area.

      If you seen the riots of 2020, those markers the riot police were using with riotballs were Tippmann 98 custom, the Chronus is a 98 custom in different clothes.
      Grimburg is a riotball distributor.
      In essence when combined with high power upgrades and grimburg rounds, you essentially have a riot gun. Which hurt like hell, just look up videos of police using them and you'll understand.

    I seriously hope that nobody takes this guy seriously. 3 and a half minutes in and I can tell you that most of what he is saying or going to say is bs. I own this gun personally and I use it every weekend at the field. Any speed (fps) over 300 and you can risk popping paint in your gun and clog it up and not work. Paintballs can hurt but are not something that you should depend on to save your life. Take the time and money and get a real firearm and learn to use it safely and effectively. This guy is probably a felon who can't legally own a firearm, which if that's the case he can't own anything with a trigger. But the fact that he is suggesting that a paintball gun is deadly enough to warn off or defend your life is completely stupid and reckless information

    • @TheJerzeyGuy
      @TheJerzeyGuy  3 года назад +7

      1st I'm not a felon, 2nd this is how I know you know shit about what you're talking about because felons can have things with a trigger like black powder revolvers and rifles , big bore airguns like the benjamin bulldog which can take down big game, plus crossbows. 3rd these aren't ran with paint ,they're ran with 4gram and 7gram riot balls. I always say if you can get a firearm, get it because it's the best defense, but some don't want or can't have firearms and this is an option. Police officers use these in riot control, maybe not this particular model but its the same internals, look it up.

      If you think it's silly why did you watch and comment on 2 videos, by the way police use these on people for riot control my friend and it does work, just look at the videos from a few months ago in those riots. If it's good enough for police riot control it's good enough for self defense, just let someone shoot you with one of these with a 7gram ball coming at you @ 350-400fps see if it won't hurt you. But thanks for the views and opinions.
