    Powerage and Highway to Hell are my favourite albums...Dirty Deeds is up there too.

    Now that's entertainment ! .. I think most of the people in that audience must have been dumbfounded at seeing something as wild as this, compared to the regular fare they were used to .. Apart from a few rocking out, they mostly stood like statues .. Love early AC/DC the best .. And how about that Bon fella ? .. Such charisma and personality .. What a legendary frontman !

      @playitagainsue  Месяц назад +1

      Haha, you are so right. So many did look like statues. They were probably in shock. Bon was the best. He was an amazing front man. Brian is good but he had nothing on Bon. He was so much more edgy. I love it 🤩💜

      @@playitagainsue Totally agree Sue .. Brian was very good, but there was something extra special about Bon .. It wasn't just the voice ( which I preferred to Brian's ), but his wonderful character took him to another level .. Love the mischief in his eyes !

      @wayne_twentyfive Yes he totally looked like he was up to mischief....a little twinkle in his eyes for sure, Wayne 🤩

      Kudos to the few people in the front row, who knew they were listening to greatness.

    1978 this came out on powerage so the show would have been around that time.

    I love this era of AC/DC. Still really raw before the rough edges got smoothed off a bit on later albums. Down Payment Blues off Powerage is an absolute classic.

      This would have been 78 if off Powerage
      Amazing band and amazing part of their career
      Im curious to ask why you said twice about Bon not being in the band anymore ? As if he was still with us
      Bon passed away in 1980 and replaced by Brian Johnson and first album after his passing was Back in Black
      It was actually Bon Scott who told his bandmates about Brian saying he was best vocalist he had seen in UK at that time .
      Fun Fact : Angus could lose 10-15 ld in the course of a concert , that is one hell of a nights work

      @jessem470 hey Jesse, I know Bon passed. I guess I wasn't saying it clearly. I meant that it was too bad he wasn't with us any more...sorry for the confusion. I bet he would lose a bunch of weight each night. He is just so energetic. He must be able to eat and drink anything he wants haha 🤩💙

    1978 Powerage 😁. The greatest ACDC albums were all Bon Scott albums. I'm tired of hearing how they are formulaic. They never were with Bon. What kind of crazy guitar break is that?

      @playitagainsue did you see Bon Scott live in Paris? I think that's the let there be rock tour. The Powerage tour live from the Apollo, they open with Riff Raff, unbelievable. I saw them after Bon had died, but with encores, I think I remember 3 hours. It was like they were there just for you. i never knew they played 100s of dates a year. When Radiohead was a rock band, I saw the Bends in Italy they were crazy too.

      @LanceManion10 Hey Chris, no I never saw that tour. I saw them in the early 2000s, unfortunately I didn't get to see them when Bon was singing. I bet that would have been amazing to see though. Radiohead would have been incredible to see as well 😎
