    Thank you for this,, I was just diagnosed with this SD. I've had it 2 years now... didn't have a clue. I thought it was larengitus.
    So now I will try all your techniques to recover. Humming etc... At least I know what I got... and that feels empowering as heck.

    Hello, I'd like to ask you a question about SD that I can't find much information on (given that it's not well acknowledged or treated in more "mainstream" health practices). I used to be quite the singer! Nowadays my voice tends to crack and it's hard to control. Do you know if SD could possibly cause that kind of damage? I went to an ENT who said he saw zero damage. Not only was he not a very good doctor (rude and trying to rush me out), but my voice is quite obviously damaged. This problem didn't come up until SD showed up in my life.
