That’s a ingenious way to repurpose an old laptop. They usually have a WiFi card but I’d seen little discussion online about taking advantage of the pcie mini-card slot for Ethernet (for others - its not the same as m.2). Probably the one I bought was discontinued. But it is the same brand. If you need higher speed you should check out Ebay there is one made by Tp-link that uses intel nic.
Next time better take notes before recording so you know exactly what you want to mention or cut out the pauses because it seems like you don't know what your talking about first
