i got a deal on a used gaming pc, almost 900$ but i usually get over 120fps at 1440p and most times way over 144fps, idc about 4k so it’s a great sweet spot… was a console gamer my whole life but all games now are bad optimization and 30fps, sold my series x and it’s the best choice I’ve ever made… eBay is your best friend if you got the money and have no problems getting used pc for better deal from trusted sellers
I bought a Lenovo PC with Nvidia 4070 super 12 GB GDR6X, 32GB ram, 1TB SSD, I7 14700 20 CORES. Works great but errors, freezes, crashes happened. Windows update, update GPU, downloaded Nvidia auto update app, made sure my games full 165 Hz 1440p monitor is on, HDR also. Ok now getting full 165 Hz but no matter what game I played it gave me stutter issues even though I had full 165Hz going and saw it with a frame showing thing. But still stutter. The other thing is Steam 41 games already own on PlayStation consoles. 3 PC exclusives never cared for. Xbox app 13 games already own on PlayStations and 3 Xbox exclusives really don't care for. Time to go back to PlayStations because they just work and have over 500 games!
As a Laptop Gaming. For me i don't really care about how much FPS got or turn on with RTX on my laptop spec as long the modern games can run perfect with 60fps or 30fps with RTX3060 is enough for me. The main reason why moving away from PS4 to PC is because due to paying monthly PS plus subscription just to play goddamn online and because that i can't paying monthly subscription due to paying my bill every mouth that is most important. i'm getting sick and tired of paying subscription every mouth and cannot playing multiplayer with my friend and some my family without paying subscription. So... i decided step away from console and moving to PC now. i'm glad happy to save up my money to buy a laptop gaming during my birthday for first time. don't give me wrong. PS4 does have very good exclusive back then and i really enjoyed playing God of War and Ghost of Tsushima. but after hearing Sony drama and i'm not sure what to buy PS5 console anymore. i think is time to moving on.
Same here, switched to pc around 2 years ago. Only reason consoles are even relevant nowadays is rockstar games not releasing their games on pc at launch(which is somewhat understandable) Only reason i havent sold my ps5 yet is gta6 and the gran turismo franchise.
@LetsGoBrandon-m9y so? I can wait for games no stress, sooner or later sony and Microsoft go fully third party anyway bcuz sales on consoles aren't even hitting their expected sale targets. + the steam library contains 1000 times as much variety then the dedicated console stores. believe what you want to believe. Pc is not only about games. A pc is so much more convenient than a console that can only play games and have to pay for online play which is the biggest scam ever.
@lucasvdb073 Uh... I don't have to wait years to play new games on consoles. You're paying $60-$70 to play unoptimized PlayStation games from 2022 in 2024. I Get physical copies. Optimized games. And paid online is a scam? Yeah... $6 a month for a service that comes with 40+ games a year included, unlimited cloud storage, constant discounts, and Share Play... Oh, and no cheaters. While you play on PC with cheaters and hackers in every single game on a laughably uneven playing field. 🤡 Ooooo.... Steam's library... Name 1 single great PC exclusive. 😂😂😂 And Microsoft is PC you tool. They own Xbox and Windows FFS. They tried getting into the console market and got crushed by Sony and Nintendo and were forced into 3rd party. Oh no... A pc can do more than gaming... Uh yeah, that's why people go to Walmart and buy a $100 laptop or own a Smartphone. Having a desktop PC in 2024 is like buying a calculator or having a landline phone. 😂😂😂
You are greatly underestimating consoles. PCs and consoles offer different sensations and different gaming experiences. It's not about the exclusivity of certain games at all

If you have the budget and can keep up with the latest technology, then go for it! However, if you're looking to spend less and still enjoy gaming, console gaming is a great option. You also need to consider that getting the right monitor for a PC can easily cost around $250, or even $150 for a decent one. Additionally, a good keyboard and mouse can add another $150 or more to your expenses. Then there's the cost of the PC itself; you might be looking at around $1,200 just to play your games at the graphics quality you want in today's market. Back in the day, I didn’t have access to any of this-I remember when there was no PS3, PS4, or PS5. What I’m trying to say is that gaming on a PC can be more expensive. If you have the means to afford all the necessary components to keep up with gaming trends, then go for a PC. Personally, I prefer gaming on the couch and enjoy being a cozy gamer, so I stick with console gaming all the way.
I'm sorry but a lot of this isn't true. PC gaming has changed a lot in the past 10 years. You can get a budget PC for $700(the same as the PS5 Pro) and it's better. You have access to all games from all Gens. Plus it's a computer for work. You don't need a high end PC for $2000+

Soo true! Did the same last month and it was great decision. Got Lenovo Legion T5 with i7 14700 and RTX 4070 super and it is way better expirience than ps5.
Recently built a PC and completely agree. Sold my XBox a while back and GTA 6 is the main reason I’ve held on to the PS5. It really is amazing having your library on one device and being able to play Halo, Gears, God of War, Spider-Man, and the entire Switch library on PC is unmatched.
I'm building a gaming PC with my brother for Christmas. The last console he played on was the PS3. This is gonna be awesome, especially with Family Sharing. 😊
Dont't become a PC snob in the process. I am primarily on PC nowadays, there's more advantages than being a video card snob. I care more about mods and emulation than playing $70 walking simulators at the highest possible settings. If you look at statistics, most PC gamers play low demanding visual games, it can be an addiction to spend on the latest hardware.

I just moved over to PC gaming. I got a gaming laptop, Lenovo 5 pro (i9 core with RT4070 GPU), and I'm loving it. I can play thousands of games and got so many more options on the PC compared to Playstation. I've been a Playstation fan since first grade, but I'm convinced PC gaming is so much better. 1. Thousands of more games on PC, including games that are no longer available on console platforms (like Demon Souls original and tons of Retro games) 2. Games are way cheaper 3. Also you can do way more with the PC than you can with consoles (example streaming with OBS, content creation, computer programming and making your own games) 4. Also you can upgrade a PC so it never becomes outdated like consoles (after 8 years, you're going to need to buy a new console for the new generation of games, but us PC gamers will just buy new GPUs and CPUs and be just fine) 5. I got way better FPS and graphics on PC compared to console (played Dark Souls Remastered on both PC and PS, and PC is way better) If you considering switching, don't hesitate guys, PC gaming is way better and you won't regret it!!
Good video. I recently switched to PC. And even with my 6700xt it’s miles better as far as performance. Steam sales are also great. One thing you didn’t touch on that people don’t realize is it’s also a whole as computer. I produce music, mix and record artists as well. I can also do my school work, browse the web mid game, etc. it’s literally endless. Also I use it as an emulator for old PS2 games and with Dolphin. More value when you account for that as well
After not being able to get my hands on a current gen console, i built my first pc, i have had a lot of problems with it and at most i can play for one week before something goes wrong and i have to install windows recovery to fix it, the only software i have on mine is steam, GOG, and duck duck go, as well as the games from those stores. I should also point out that my experience is not common from what i have seen online with other pc builds, so i am not saying it's bad, just that i have had a bad expirence
Bout time you made the jump to PC! I need to get me a steam deck too! Good video Rob I been watching you since your Bojack Unbound review way back when I was like 12 or something, keep on grinding
As a lifelong console gamer, I built my first PC 5 yrs ago and haven't looked back since. I do content creation, but felt no need to buy another console after the PS4 Pro and XBox One X. The multi-decade long backwards compatibility (no more games being locked to an older console, plus when you upgrade your hardware those older games run better), free online multiplayer (on console you'd pay around $350/generation per owned console), third-party (and now first-party) support that used to mainly focus on console now making PC more of a priority, Steam sales, customizable hardware, emulation, mods are all huge positives. PC gaming has come a long way. The PS4 Pro was conceptualized partly due to the PCs rising influence.

In the first year I got a console, I completed more games than in all my years of computer ownership. So it's just your experience. It's the opposite for me
I watch your vids on 3rd shift and the bulk and skill music made me spit my drink out lol. Great vid tho man. Solid points and as a console owner, I completely get what your saying
@RobertStorms84 no prob. If I can manage at some point, imma try to make to the live chats you guys do. Ive seen all of em but can't make to when it starts lol.
I’m in the same boat. I have an XBox but im gonna build my pc soon, and pretty much be done with gaming consoles. For me I just hate the censorship. Theres so many games on steam and other sites that you can play, but they’re not on XBox and PlayStation because it doesn’t pass their guidelines. What gives them the right to be the gate keepers or morality?
Alienware overcharges their products INSANELY. You can build a 500$ PC that runs circles around the PS5. A 600$ PC can kick the PS5 Pro and steal it’s lunch money. Search up LTT and ZTT’s video on console killer PCs.
aside from performance and backwards comp. consoles might be cheaper at first but games are costing from 50 to 100 usd nowadays. if ur budget can allow it by all means go for it. i personally would rather spend $1500 on a high end gaming pc or laptop and have the freedom to play games for free
I have a that but I bought it in 2023. I also have a PS4 and Xbox One. PS3 and Xbox 360 is my favorite era of gaming and I like the PS2 era as well I refuse to own the PS5 pro. I might start up PC gaming eventually.
Great video, I built my PC after I saw deluxe PS5's (end of covid) for $1000, so I built my PC for around the same price, nowhere near as fancy as that impressive set up, but still kills PS4 and PS5.Prices of games, I love my keyboard, way better game play and FPS, so much more flexibility and the things you can do with PC, wow! I have a friend who comes over once a month we play on my old PS4, it's ok, people like the convivence of plug and play, he bought a PS5 recently, he has physical problems, cash flow problems, consoles are fine for some, not me, I love PC.
Thanks so much for leaving a comment. Yeah I really started making the switch to PC during this Gen. I just feel like these new consoles haven't done anything that feels impressive. Plus with so many PlayStation and Xbox games going to PC it just seemed like the smart decision to go all in. I hope you will subscribe to the channel 🙏
I won't sell my consoles bc they're all nintendo stuff but I got a steam deck a year ago and it has been amazing I loved the switch but they're taking too long to reveal the switch 2 and I wanted more big 3rd parties that weren't possible on the switch. Some people might say Resident evil 4 on steam deck isn't as smooth as a better pc or the ps5 ver, but other than a few instances I played the whole thing at 40fps and loved it. If I didn't buy a steam deck I'd still be waiting for the switch 2 and a RE4R port to get revealed. I'd be waiting for metaphor refantazio, ff7r, ff15, elden ring, persona 3 reload, and so many more games. Not to mention the vast number of older games that got pc ports and still haven't been ported to modern consoles. FF13 is still locked to old gen unless u have a pc And of course emulation too I'll still probably buy a switch 2 but most of my games are on steam ever since a year ago.
I played on PC, then switched to PlayStation, then returned to PC again. Why. Yes, because the graphics, damn it! PC graphics are simply unattainable for consoles, even if you play on a monitor!
Glad you decided to switch from console gaming to pc gaming, Robert Storms!👍 Good thing I stopped playing Xbox Series X and got a Steamdeck Oled last year for Christmas! Also, good thing I grew up with Nintendo over the years since Nintendo DS (my first Nintendo console when I was a kid back then)! Looking forward for the next-gen Nintendo console and PC gaming machine! The only problem that Nintendo has is the modding/emulator/piracy takedown, copyright strike, and the fangame takedown (especially with the PalWorld situation). But other than Nintendo, the triple AAA industry is dead, and indie games and AA games are taking over the entire triple AAA industry. Can't wait to buy a pc gaming machine in the future, to start making awesome games independently! Also Robert Storms, can you make a video about indie/AA games vs Triple AAA games, please? Also Robert Storms, have you watched Murder Drones, Lackadaisy, The Amazing Digital Circus, Port By The Sea, Ramshackle, Dungeon Flippers, Pieces Of Powder, Paper World, Catching Up, The Rhino And The Redbill, GodSpeed, Coal Town, and Garage Sale? If so or not, can you make a video about indie animation vs Hollywood studios/companies vs Japanese anime studios, please?
I love my PC, but it has been hard to give up physical games. Not being able to walk into a gamestop or best buy to browse for PC games kinda bums me out. Logically, PC gaming makes more sense (free online, cheaper games, best backwards compatibility, emulation, etc). My heart just cant let go of the consoles.
The gaming fan within me still loves the idea of having a physical collection but even then new games are just the game in an empty case, there's no manuals or anything anymore.
I agree with you. I have a new physical copy of the INDIKA game for my console. This is a game from our Russian developers. The box looks amazing. I also recently purchased the physical version of Dragon Quest 3, and they will release the first two parts soon, it will look great on my shelf 😋
Seeing you pc gaming is pretty cool after the what pisses me off pc gamers video way back in the day. It just shows that many things can change in due time.

Well?
i got a deal on a used gaming pc, almost 900$ but i usually get over 120fps at 1440p and most times way over 144fps, idc about 4k so it’s a great sweet spot… was a console gamer my whole life but all games now are bad optimization and 30fps, sold my series x and it’s the best choice I’ve ever made… eBay is your best friend if you got the money and have no problems getting used pc for better deal from trusted sellers
PC gaming is such garbage.
How is pc relevant when it has 0 great exclusives and the only thing PC gamers can brag about are garbage mods and 2 year old PlayStation ports?
Ooooo.... Steam's library... Name 1 single great PC exclusive. 😂😂😂
And Microsoft is PC you tool.

I still don't know how to play switch games on PC. I wish I did
I'm building a gaming PC with my brother for Christmas. The last console he played on was the PS3. This is gonna be awesome, especially with Family Sharing. 😊
Me and my brother does family sharing and we have almost 400 games on our library
Im not being a snob but I will may Sony fanboys feel bad if they talk dumb lol

I just moved over to PC gaming. I got a gaming laptop, Lenovo 5 pro (i9 core with RT4070 GPU), and I'm loving it. I can play thousands of games and got so many more options on the PC compared to Playstation. I've been a Playstation fan since first grade, but I'm convinced PC gaming is so much better.
1. Thousands of more games on PC, including games that are no longer available on console platforms (like Demon Souls original and tons of Retro games)
2. Games are way cheaper
3. Also you can do way more with the PC than you can with consoles (example streaming with OBS, content creation, computer programming and making your own games)
4. Also you can upgrade a PC so it never becomes outdated like consoles (after 8 years, you're going to need to buy a new console for the new generation of games, but us PC gamers will just buy new GPUs and CPUs and be just fine)
5. I got way better FPS and graphics on PC compared to console (played Dark Souls Remastered on both PC and PS, and PC is way better)
If you considering switching, don't hesitate guys, PC gaming is way better and you won't regret it!!
More value when you account for that as well
I just use both. There's some games I'm not willing to wait 1-2 years for them to come to PC.
That's every pc gamers experience whether they want to admit it or not.
I love your channel you have great commentary.
Thank you so so so much
Good man! and welcome to the PC master race
AFTER DECADES OF PC GAMING HEADACHES AND 0 GREAT EXCLUSIVES ON PC I FINALLY SWITCHED TO CONSOLES AND COULDN'T BE HAPPIER.

aside from performance and backwards comp. consoles might be cheaper at first but games are costing from 50 to 100 usd nowadays. if ur budget can allow it by all means go for it. i personally would rather spend $1500 on a high end gaming pc or laptop and have the freedom to play games for free

I won't sell my consoles bc they're all nintendo stuff but I got a steam deck a year ago and it has been amazing
I loved the switch but they're taking too long to reveal the switch 2 and I wanted more big 3rd parties that weren't possible on the switch. FF13 is still locked to old gen unless u have a pc
And of course emulation too
I'll still probably buy a switch 2 but most of my games are on steam ever since a year ago.
I'm thinking about getting a steam deck soon
Steam Deck is an awesome little machine
May I ask you which operating system is installed in your pc?
Windows 11
Did the same 6 years ago. Never looked back..
COOL STORY BRO... WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO ON PC IN 2025? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just got my first gaming pc from walmart Black Friday. I5 13th gen rtx 4060 16gb ddr5 1tb ssd for 699. So smooth
That's a really good PC for the price. Nice pick up
Finally somebody who is keeping it real i love my pc and pc gaming
Thanks bud, hit the Subscribe button!
I played on PC, then switched to PlayStation, then returned to PC again. Why. Yes, because the graphics, damn it! PC graphics are simply unattainable for consoles, even if you play on a monitor!
PC and nintendo all day I do play my xbox series x for sports games though
Glad you decided to switch from console gaming to pc gaming, Robert Storms!👍
Good thing I stopped playing Xbox Series X and got a Steamdeck Oled last year for Christmas!
@@vivilover9409 to tell the truth, we in Russia have never read these manuals. It's just that few people knew English 😄
I've been thinking about doing the same thing.
It's a game changer. I highly recommend the switch over to PC.
Im sooooo close to doing and the thing is I have a great gaming PC from Digital Storm just sitting in my media room.
The power ranger theme Skull and Bulk!😂
HELP PC GAMERS! I really want to switch to PC. BUT what are the best upcoming exclusive for PC and best games in 2025?
Uh. It's not console. There are tens of thousands of "exclusive games" on PC. PC has literally every possible game available. So you dont have to worry about that. Best games? Depends on what you're interested in, but PC literally has every game possible. Go wild.
@timester3030 Name 1 great pc exclusive.... One.
Can you play Astro Bot (2024's GOTY) on PC? 🤡
@@timester3030 oh, I'm letting you keep all those stupid 1$ games on steam that you call PC exclusives, lol
@@grigmcr "PC Exclusives"? What, you mad? PC Has every game console has. At worst PC will get it like 1 year later. PC has a much, MUCH larger library of games that console simply doesnt have. There is just more freedom. Popular ones too. Just cry harder, lol
@@timester3030 Russians don't cry. Stay with your opinion. And happy new year 🎄🙃
For your age your a little late for the game. I switched to pc gaming since 2010 and never went back to console

If you're gaming on a PC it's because:
A. You are a child and your parents control what you play and what you play on.
B. You're a foreigner (not from the USA) and hate games based on American or Western culture.
C. You are poor and can't afford a luxury item like a console.
D. You are on the spectrum and enjoy repetitive point and click games.
E. All of the above.

I'm not "Flexing" my PC. I had many people ask me about my rig and why I jumped from console to PC. That was why I was making the video explaining.
PC is king when it comes to emulation.
