Okay so i was trying to learn the song, and the slides just busted my pinky, now i got a piece of skin that ripped out due to the friction from the slides and it stings like a bitch lmao, i come from more of a guitar background so sliding and bending like crazy was a piece of cake, but i just recently picked up bass and oh boy, my poor fingers. Guess i'll let my finger heal and come back to this one hahaha
This song tore up my pinky, and I have pretty well built up pinky callous. Give it a few days to heal then practice again and soon you won't even feel it
Same. Ive been doing slides with my pinky but never this intensively. Blistered in the first 10 minutes of practicing this song. Luckily i have big hands so while my pinky heals i can practice with my ring finger on the slides which is much more callused. Hard to tell myself not to use my pinky though 😅
@@oruletesfahejiz you can hear his playing just fine, the song was recorded on a guitar with an octaver pedal. You can still get a similar sound with some pedal effects like distortion or fuzz or something
