This had to have been replaced before I’ve never seen where you can scrape without holding the phone with your other hand cause the pressure you need to apply to get under the heated glass and it’s usually not that clean

I watched your video and copied what you did. I should not have! I should have listened to all the other videos where they said you have to REMOVE THE SCREEN AND BATTERY FIRST! I got the back glass off and I was so proud. I flipped over the phone and the screen (which now had discolored at the edges) was separated from the body of the phone because the battery expanded from the head. So an $8 fix turned into a $100 plus one because this guy is giving people wrong information.
You should have at least remove the mother board and battery . You probably decreased the life of it with so much heat and the mother board got looses its solder ability with so much heat

And one more - the battery IS NOT underneath the glass cover. Has metal plate between as shield. And wireless charger. If temp on the glass is 150 degr Cels that mean temp inside the phone will be less than 100. Absolutely safe for battery. If you leave the phone here in Las Vegas on the car dash when is summer ( 100-120 degr F ) than temp inside the phone will be much more than when heat the glass. I never heard than has battery explosion or other batttery problems when is Summer

U can use contact cement as glue that what Apple uses and as long as you heat the broken glass to point where it’s too hot to touch it’ll come off but this video had its back glass taken off before normally it takes a few hours and takes constant heat and scraping and sometimes your blades snap from the pressure you have to use

The best way is to strip the phone down completely, heat to 250-300 deg then push the glass out from where the wireless charge pad sits, its best to use the machines to do this as it keeps heat on it but it is possible with a heat gun. make sure all glass is removed or the replacement wont sit right.

This is a fake video. I do this for a living and Apples glue is MUCH stronger and cant be removed with heat. You need something like a TBK laser machine.
Just did mine. Let me tell you it is not as easy as the vid shows. It took hours to chisel away the glass, it is an impossible job, not worth it. If you have a crack back glass, just leave it alone, it is covered by the phone case anyway.

This is a fake video. I do this for a living and Apples glue is MUCH stronger and cant be removed with heat. You need something like a TBK laser machine.
Just did mine. Let me tell you it is not as easy as the vid shows. It took hours to chisel away the glass, it is an impossible job, not worth it. If you have a crack back glass, just leave it alone, it is covered by the phone case anyway.
