Surprised that nobody has mentioned this, but to me it feels like the song is about being closeted. The mentions of faking it, boys who are "just curious", "Yet everybody will support", and so on... and then there's the awesome cover art, where to me the tie almost looks like the snake from the Garden of Eden... I'm obviously overanalyzing a bit but that's something interesting I see. Great song either way!
