Hi😮🤠; I would like to know how and where YOU manage to get several thousands of pounds of Scrap Copper from.? WHERE I LIVE(USA) it's about $4.50LB. US DOLLARS

STILL..If you do the math..the time involved is not worth the weight loss of just scrapping the wire with the insulation..Unless you have thick wire..50kg is like 20 lbs...You would have to have 100 lbs of the wire he is stripping....So you can get more money for the 100 lbs of insulated wire than the 20 lbs of copper wire..I've been scrapping for 40 years..I tried all the tricks...Motor windings is the best bet for copper

That's not true. I used to think that until started tracking it. You can lose a LOT of money not stripping. Anything thicker than 14g is worth stripping. Heck, the yard I go to now gives bare bright on 18g copper wire. The plastic doesn't weigh as much as most people think. 90%+ of the weight is copper. That's just my experience of stripping a LOT of wire. I strip everything but most Ethernet cable.

@@NoMoreBsPlease Then you have a finer yard then I...I too have done testing

Oh and did you mean 50kg of insulated wire equals 20lbs stripped? That's 110lbs insulated=20lbs stripped I'm curious now gonna do a test this load

Burnt wire is worth less and I'm assuming you don't have a proper pyrolysis chamber to do it without killing the Ozone layer burning plastic in a barrel fire 🔥
