(i edited out some spots due to copyright just so you know) Hey! This video took a good amount of effort so if you could just click that like button that would be sick! Thanks!
ive got an idea, if you slow the video to the right speed maybe you can make it look like its accelerating at the same speed it would irl. this would also give it the same ride time!
@@LTstinkysocksMcGee420 lights flicker in slow mo so I would have to move it outside for this to work. Also the boosters do such instant acceleration that it wouldn’t look right
I hope this video blows up. Your dedication to building these models is incredible, and you posted this video very quickly! Can't wait to see what coasters you build next!
That Spike should address the rollback issue that Top Thrill Dragster was having, especially with the fact that they shoot you back at 100 mph an hour up the spike and then back at 120 mph up the original Hill.
Rewatching the video I have 1 thing to say, I love how much the tower sways, the tophat specifically, since the spike has no laterals shaking it side to side.
10:00 fantastic work! The portion of the final running is a little bit low. Maybe including shooting the acceleration part or the top hat part. The acceleration part is genius.
Wow!!! It is awsome how you managed to make the triple launch in the coaster work!!! Specially with k’nex!!! It is super creative and looks increadible!!!🙌🏻
What would be sick is if you could have a ride POV on your coasters. Coaster Suggestion: A new Boomerang Model starts with a backwards launch into a scorpion tail element, then a forwards launch, cobra roll, bat wing, spike, and than do it in reverse.
Very nice effort and presentation. I have true rollback on TTD. It stalled at the top then rolled backwards. Felt like you're back's going thru the seat. It'll be interesting to see how this feels. What was appealing about TTD is it was a powerful launch that got you straight up & over in 17 sec of Top Thrills.
If you could find a micro camera of some sort to put on the front of the train to show a 1st person pov that would be sick! NICE Work this is incredible lol.
sooo what your saying, is that if I wana build a 20ft version of top thrill 2 next year.... it will have to be with home made LSM's because this is is 6-7 foot but needed so many boosters lol. great video dude I love the new style of video we started doing. just a shame I work so much I havent been able to get another project done.
Very cool man. I used to do the exact same thing when I was your age. I didn't have those cool Knex track like you have it was the old fashioned vinyl one that ran on the grey wheels.
Hey, I would love to use something like this to build ice breaker if you’re cool with that. I just wanted to know how tall tho hang the motor contraption to replicate it.
Not sure if you will see this but do you know if it’s possible to build a boomerang coaster with these knex. I have no idea how to do the chain lift that will release the car when it’s near the top of the lift
This is really cool and impressive but I hate to break it to you that this isn't the world's first model swing launch. Maybe the first publicly posted one but it has been achieved before. Again, I'm not trying to discount the project at all as it is really cool and impressive! Just don't like it when people make false claims that they haven't actually confirmed. There's a good chance you can claim first Knex swing launch though!
Bro we need to get you a soldering iron, some arduinos, and chatgpt to write you some code. You could automate all of that sooo easily with an arduino. Also, for little DC power supplies you can always go to goodwill to get one for like a dollar or two!
@@CoasterObsessed nice! You can always use a power supply that supplies more amps than needed. Or eventually you might just get a bench top power supply that can control voltage and current. Very handy tool to have around! Love the videos keep on doing it man!
hey, just wondering how you get into this type of stuff, I understand it takes time and patience but im wonder what the best way to learn this type of skill is?
I got one set as a kid and just kept getting more and more over the years. Once i started my channel 3 years ago I realized I was not anywhere close to the level of other builders. I then slowly developed on my own and then managed to get in on a community of em and we’ve been sharing and discussing ever since. It’s all gotten me here. Hopefully this answers your questions. You can see my development in my coaster playlist all the way from my sad attempt at iron gwazi to now
That was… freakishly quick lol.
I had the video ready to go! I just woke up late to confirm the leak was true so I popped the logo into my thumbnail and posted it
@@CoasterObsessed haha, nice.
Hey I didn’t know you were a coaster enthusiast, I only know you for your animatronics😅

Ayyy u went with my idea legend
the cart needs to go higher up on the spike to prevent the roll back
He got really lucky this is surprisingly accurate and really good
I hope this video blows up. Your dedication to building these models is incredible, and you posted this video very quickly! Can't wait to see what coasters you build next!
How does this dude not have 1 million subscribers?
Looks like a fun hobby! I used to build bridges with erectors!
You have way too much time on your hands! Which is a good thing! This is so cool! Thanks for taking the time to make this! Ride On!
Dude! This is incredible. The dedication. The ingenuity.
I like how you manged to do this like right before the announcement.

Cool! Try To Make Kingda ka
You are a talented man. Outstanding work. Super creative& inventive…
Duuuude, this was incredible! The mechanics of the swing launch were genius
Wow, I admire your persistence in solving all those issues until you got it working, very impressive!
probably the coolest knex coaster ive ever seen
Incredible..well done sir
I will share
This is insane wow not what i expected props
now this is the RUclips I love
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
Make mr. Freeze reverse blast

9ft but yes. model LSMs are going to be crazy expensive. The new videos are going crazy. This one already has hit 100 Watch hours!
Dude LSMs would be so sick lmao. If you have the money and most importantly time to do it you should
These are so good

Good job

I agree, didn’t quite get out of the way every time
Not sure if you will see this but do you know if it’s possible to build a boomerang coaster with these knex. I have no idea how to do the chain lift that will release the car when it’s near the top of the lift
It is possible! On my worlds longest K’nex coaster project I had a switch track onto a spike that it got lifted up and released from using magnets!

can you build a life size roller coaster?

Looks like thats about how far the coaster is going to go up the spike anyway 😅
lol. I got lucky!
What do you use for the brakes?
wow
F*ckin' KOOL!! Great Job!!! :)
The track and train may be miniature but the speed of the embarrassingly-slow launch is dead-on accurate.
Where do you get the k nex
this is like a carnivore ride the way it works lol
Did you spell that right?
please do six flags man of steel
Is that the kingda KKu
How do you do this
Hey sorry to bother you but what is this "toy" or tool Called?
K’nex! I use a track design that has been discontinued but they still have sets for sale using the same rods and connectors
@CoasterObsessed again I am so sorry to bother you but did you take track out of sets?
Yes! What I build is just using pieces from sets and creating my own projects. Also, feel free to ask anything else
